It was a good, happy relationship for the first two days. Those were the only two days that the paper arrived in time to be taken to work. This annoyance aside, fella started taking the prior day's paper to work. This was mainly laziness (he didn't want to cancel the paper), rather than devotion to this publication. As our service went on, we were more and more displeased. When signing up, there had been promises of a special offer. Yet our bills never reflected that offer. The papers were thrown all over the place, sometimes in the middle of our townhouse complex parking lot. We also were skipped for several papers, including a couple of Sunday editions. This was really frustrating, as the Sunday paper was the one we sought the most. We'd call in the morning and they wouldn't do anything about it. "Oh, we'll credit you," was the answer. They never credited us. We finally canceled the service. The content of the paper was always decent... not as full as the Seattle papers, but it would keep you busy. I always found the classifieds particularly disappointing. No one advertises in this Snohomish Country paper - they go straight to the Seattle papers. Even the Northern cities such as Everett don't seem to bother.

It's a good reality check. But if one of my sales people acts creepy, tell the store manager or call the paper. We don't need him. The ones I keep make over $50 an hour BTW, so they don't need YOUR order. As far as delivery service goes, it is a constant problem for all papers. They can pay only so much per paper delivered and with the price of gas as high as it is, the carrier turnover is relentless.

The setup could be a little better, though. Luckily, I was in the second row and had a great view, but I'm not sure how well people toward the back could see the stage. The stage is fairly low, and since the floor is completely flat rather than slightly inclined, I imagine visibility gets pretty limited the farther back you are. I'd definitely recommend getting VIP tickets for the front rows, or arriving really early, the line was LONG! One of my favorite touches was the drinks! Each one was creatively crafted and themed after a different serial killer, which fit the whole experience perfectly. Such a fun way to enjoy the show!

Ok now that you've booked it let me tell you what to expect: top notch service and communication. Linda and her team make you feel like your event is the only one in the world. Emails are responded to quickly with questions answered or suggestions based on events they've done before The day of your event the staff is there helping you with set up, logistics etc. Whatever we asked for Linda was able to provide quickly and with a smile -- including the ribbon for my daughter's corset dress which somehow got misplaced between the hotel and the Press Room. Linda rescued us with a roll of ribbon and the bride was able to walk down the aisle! In the walk through we mentioned a certain wine that we like, hoping it would be one they served. It wasn't but Linda bought a few bottles just for us! Food is top notch - the pork chops were so tender you could cut them with the side of your fork and the scalloped potatoes were fantastic The servers and bar staff were so professional and everything went so smoothly. They make it a magical evening. The venue is so beautiful and unique. Our guests could not stop raving about it! You'll be so glad you decided to have your event at The Press Room
