Today I went to Erase Spa for my laser hair removal appointment, and I was genuinely excited to…read morebegin my session. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Your website clearly states the estimated length of each laser treatment (for example, full legs - 20 minutes, stomach line - 15 minutes), so I had certain expectations regarding the quality and thoroughness of the service. I arrived early for my appointment and was the only client in the waiting room. After waiting about five minutes, the technician brought me in on time. From the start, there was very little communication. She only asked the standard questions about retinol use, antibiotics, and similar medical information, but she never explained the treatment process or what to expect during the session. What concerned me most was the treatment itself. The technician did not mark or properly assess the treatment areas, and it felt like she was simply guessing rather than being precise. She didn't pause to check that every area had been treated evenly. When I asked her to lower the air pressure because I was uncomfortable, my request was ignored. This location is not the same since the previous technicians left. The level of professionalism and attention to detail has noticeably declined. There was no welcoming atmosphere, no effort to make me feel comfortable, and no sense of structure. What was especially frustrating is that there wasn't a single other client waiting, yet the technician still rushed through my appointment. The session was completed much faster than expected, and I honestly do not believe all of the treatment areas were covered properly. Laser hair removal should be performed carefully and methodically. The technician should be checking that every section is treated evenly rather than rushing through the appointment. As a paying customer, I expect a thorough treatment that matches the standards your company advertises. I left feeling like my appointment was rushed and that I did not receive the quality of care I paid for. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future clients receive the level of service they deserve

I've had many different technicians over the years, some better than others but all of them are professional when doing the treatments. The front desk staff in particular provides great customer service and are very easy to contact when I need to schedule or reschedule an appointment. I've had laser on most of my body and now I only need to go every couple of months for maintenance since some areas do grow back due to hormones. They use Cynosure laser and this has been very effictive for my skin. Getting laser was the best investment since I really don't ever have to worry about shaving anymore. They always have different promotions available so the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this place if you're interested in laser hair removal.

One is, so I can't even book until I provide a doctor's note. I could've done that weeks ago, and I would've just bought a 50% off package with the holiday deals and booked my first session if I didn't need to first come in for a 3 minute consult. The front desk staff was nice (though I have no clue what their names were because no one introduced themselves) and I was seen on time, so two stars for that, but three stars off for wasting my time. I've been preparing for weeks to begin laser treatments - no waxing, no sun, only shaving, etc., and now I'm unsure whether I should bother going back or find a different provider. UPDATE: Following my consultation, I received an email soliciting my feedback. I provided it and expressed that I had a poor experience during my consultation but remained interested in purchasing a package and working with a different specialist. No one acknowledged or responded. It now seems I'll be purchasing services elsewhere since Laser Spa doesn't care enough to earn my business with a simple response to an email. The location really is convenient and I prepared for many weeks for the treatments, so this is highly disappointing.

Marta genuinely cares about your skin. She doesn't try to sell products & will always give you samples to try before you commit to anything. Her goal is to get your skin to a stage where you don't need to come to her as much. She is the owner & the only one who does your facial & has decades of experience. Plan accordingly to get an appointment. She spends 1 hr & 15-30 min on each of her full facials. I've gone to her with severly clogged skin and let me tell you - I have never had extractions like this before. She got EVERYTHING out & was extremely patient in doing so. I always expect to walk out of a facial with battered skin (for reference, I was a Mario Badescu client for years) but I often come out of a facial with Marta looking BETTER than when I went in. I am not kidding! I always do my research with everything from restaurants to facials/massages & everything in between & I highly recommend Marta if you are looking for glowing skin!

First off I am a person who is nervous about everything and don't do anything without doing my research or taking the time to make sure its what I want to do. I found Amanda through a mutual person and I will never look back. For years I was going for waxes (elsewhere) until I got a cyst so bad that it required surgery and at that point I knew it was time to take a leap of faith on laser hair removal and I already knew Amanda was the person to go to through previous research. On my first visit (and even on my second visit) she saw how nervous I was about the process and she did not hesitate to put me at ease. Cut forward to months later, it has been the best decision I have ever made! After 4-5 visits my hair now barely grows back (and the little bit that does is barely noticeable) and I have even gotten my mom to go as well. I am a personal trainer and as a person who is constantly active and lives in tank tops and shorts its so nice to not have to worry about shaving daily or every other day! She is not only extremely knowledgeable in what will get you the best results but she is also an amazing person (and one of my absolutely favorite people now) and I would not trust anyone else to come near me with a laser! I would follow Amanda to any place she will work, that is how amazing she is!!! read more

After years of painful and embarrassing ingrown hairs, meeting Amanda was a blessing! In the past I had held off on getting laser for a few reasons... I was too embarrassed (past waxing technicians always made snide remarks), it's incredibly intimate, and it was not affordable... but Amanda at Manhattan Laser Spa is an angel! She explains the process and expectations and well as detailed care instructions. She makes you feel welcomed and cared for, as well as making the space feel safe and judgement-free. Furthermore, these prices cannot be beat! The rooms are clean and quiet. The equipment is new and in top shape. And the staff has been courteous. I recommend Amanda and Manhattan Laser Spa to anyone who has been on the fence about starting laser hair removal. Game changer. I'm SO confident! read more

I cannot explain how much I LOVED MY SESSION. This place is not only beautiful the place is so inviting and the ladies are amazing. I went in to get laser tattoo removal and I was dreading it because of my previous experience but coming to Manhattan laser spa hands down was the best painless experience. I felt the laser but Amanda took care of me, kept me talking and made sure I was comfy at all times. as she was doing the laser treatment she had a cooling fan thing on as she did the procedure and it helped so much. As most old school men, I never thought I'd see the day where I would find myself saying "wow I just got laser done". My wife is the one that recommended me to her. I was super skeptical at first, both because I tend to be an insecure individual and because of my pain tolerance.
