I understand the importance of good dental hygiene, but I don't believe patients should be spoken to or made to feel embarrassed in that way. I was also extremely disappointed with how my insurance and benefits were handled. I was told that my insurance did not cover my cleaning, X-rays, and other services. However, when I went to a different dental office, I was informed that my insurance did, in fact, cover these services. What concerned me even more was what happened with my husband's health benefits card. Once they found out he had available benefits, we were told they could "find more stuff" to use up his benefits. That interaction made us very uncomfortable and gave us the impression that the focus was more on maximizing his benefits than providing necessary dental care. After this experience, we will not be returning. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion and verifying your insurance coverage independently before agreeing to services here.

I asked Dr. Boeckmann what I could do about that one tooth. He suggested crown veneers. We can't just do the one tooth because it wouldn't match the other teeth. He suggested we do 8 teeth. I was apprehensive because I'd seen people who had veneers that were too large, or just didn't seem to fit their mouths. I was very nervous when I went to my first appointment to get my temporary veneers. Dr. Boeckmann's staff are all very, very sweet and very professional. They all assured me, he had done so many and was an expert. His assistant showed me hers and I was sold. I relaxed and after 3 hours in his chair, when I looked at my temporary veneers, I was sooo pleased. This is the best dental decision I've ever made and the financial investment has been well worth it. My decision to trust Dr. Boeckmann is also one of the best I've ever made. In my experience, these services have always been 100% covered, even out of network. I was never informed of the cost before being taken into the room and having the cleaning done. When I questioned this, they told me it was my responsibility to ask about pricing and that they were not obligated to inform me beforehand. I took it as a lesson learned for not asking in advance, since I had never had to pay for a basic cleaning before. About a month later, I received another bill for an additional $155.40. I called regarding these new charges, and the person who answered said she would escalate it to the manager. Two months later, I was sent yet another charge--this time $20 for a "processing fee." Their reasoning was that I did not respond to their attempts to contact me, even though I had been the one consistently calling them about the bill. The front office staff refuses to take any responsibility or accountability. They deny everything and shift the blame back onto the patient. At this point, I feel like I'm being scammed. Don't rely on the Google reviews--they appear to delete negative feedback. Most of the photos also seem to be posted by the business owner rather than real patients. While the front of the office looks nice, the interior appears old and run-down. My first experience was them getting me in quickly to fix a broken tooth. At that point, I switched my entire family to have Dr. Hemrajani as our dentist. She is also the key to me stopping a lifelong habit of biting my nails. She (Dr. Hemrajani) does most of the work herself, so you have plenty of time to talk to her. And most importantly, she listens to you. She also has a good sense of humor, too. Fatemah, the office manager, is always pleasant, responsive, and has a good sense of humor, too. Then, there is Mayra, the hygienist. She is the comedienne of the office while cleaning your teeth and taking x-rays. It is a fun visit for me.
