I came here after a failed root canal retreat and an infected tooth that wasn't having it. My initial appointment was maybe 5 minutes long and after Dr. Anton (Sr.) gave it a look, he quickly said yep, it's got to go and that we would get scheduled for the actual procedure. I was ready to get it done, but I understand schedules. They were able to get me in two days later - early in the morning with Dr. Anton (Jr.) and when I arrived they were ready for me within minutes. I went to the back, was introduced to the team and given an overview of how it would all go. They asked if I was ready and within 5 minutes, we were done. I didn't have any sedation so I was able to get in and out and also drive myself. Both Dr. Anton Sr, and Dr. Anton Jr were very friendly and professional. The nurses/assistants were as well. I was given the number to call if I had any issues and sent on my way with a care pack including a fancy head wrap ice pack. While I certainly don't plan on having any more teeth extracted, I would definitely recommend Dr's Anton and their team to anyone who needs their service. read more

Two weeks ago I went to see Dr. Seeba to inquire about reducing the wrinkles around my eyes on my forehead and enhancing my lips. Our latest visit to OSA was our family's third time for surgery and care by Dr. Bailey and his team. Dr. Anton is probably my favorite doctor, ever. He has fantastic beside manners and is a very personable, knowledgeable, and understanding doctor. He is a very genuine person. Absolutely recommend him to anyone who's getting dental work done. MY STORY: My regular dentist (Dr. Tutt - also fantastic) diagnosed me with pericoronitis earlier this year. She referred me to several oral surgeons, and Dr. Anton was who I decided to go with. Dr. Anton removed all 4 of my wisdom teeth seamlessly this past month. I opted to stay awake during the procedure and limit myself to just local anesthesia and he was totally understanding and accommodating. The operation wasn't long but he still made sure to talk me through everything he was doing, letting me know what to expect each step along the way. It was honestly over before I knew it. After the procedure (done on a Friday), he called me from his own personal cellphone the next day (a Saturday afternoon) to check on me and see how I was doing. I've never had a doctor personally call me post-op, especially on a weekend, to see how I'm doing. It's usually always a nurse and definitely never over a weekend. He was quick and timely to respond to any and all questions I had before, during, and after my surgery. His confidence will leave you feeling in great hands. Even in the midst of a virus pandemic and hurricane evacuation; Dr. Bailey, Dr. Seeba, and the rest of the OSA staff provided me with the best pre/post wisdom teeth extraction care. While the procedure itself was painless, my recovery was quite rocky due to how impacted my lower right tooth was. I was in quite a bit of pain and OSA Doctors didn't show up once for me, BUT TWICE! First time, Dr. Bailey got me in immediately and repacked my extraction site. Second time was the day before possibly being hit by hurricane Laura. Due to this, majority of the surrounding pharmacies were shutting down early and Dr. Bailey called multiple till we found one open to make sure I had medicine for the pain, he then communicated with Dr. Seeba to see me ASAP the following day to make sure it wasn't infected. I was referred to Dr. Bailey and this practice by my dentist at League City Family Dentistry for wisdom teeth removal. Of course I was a little scared and nervous, but I planned on getting braces and the only way would be to remove the wisdom teeth. Dr. Bailey was straight with me, which I always appreciate, and the staff was very friendly and kind and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Once the day of procedure came, Dr. Bailey and his staff could not have taken better care of me! My surgery went well and I noticed the very clean work at the extraction sites. The staff here needs some major training on customer service. I went in for a consult with one of the oral surgeons. I showed up exactly four minutes before my appointment time and none of the staff were present. I figured they were all in a staff meeting or something which is cool. 19 minutes after my appointment, the staff finally comes out of their meeting and start working on the now back log of patients waiting. No apology, no explanation, nothing. That's fine but it's a sign, of what you decide but keep reading. I was 3rd to be called up to be given new patient paperwork and the woman behind the counter asked if I had my referral letter or x-rays. I said no because I wasn't told I needed any of that when I called to make the appointment a week ago and that my dentist had actually sent both over to them. Here comes the attitude. She just hands me the paperwork with no acknowledgement or anything. Bare in mind this is example number one of this place asking me for something I've already given them. I fill everything out but while I'm doing so, a different woman behind the counter calls me up and asks me for my medical and dental insurance cards. I said I didn't know I needed them (they should have let me know this when I initially called as these aren't something I carry around everyday!) but I've given all that information last week when I made the appointment...the second time someone has asked me for something I've already given them. So now it's been over 45 minutes past when my appointment was so needless to say I was annoyed especially since I had to go back to work. I'm finally called and the dental assistant wasn't friendly at all. Usually they make small talk when they walk you down to the exam room but all she did was call my name, said follow me and that's it. That's fine but still, it's a sign. She then asks me what brings me in and I had to repeat everything I've told the person I initially spoke to when I made the appointment and what I wrote on the paperwork...the third time I've had to repeat something I've already given them. I understand them wanting to hear it straight from me but why not wait until the dentist is present to ask because he's going to not only want to hear it but most likely ask the same exact thing!?! Anyways, the dentist was alright, fairly friendly but rushing probably to catch up from their meeting or whatever they had. Finally, and this is what ticked me off the most, it was almost an hour after my initial appointment time and I had to get back to work but they direct me to sit down in a back waiting room (I didn't know why as they didn't say why I needed to wait but I soon realized it was to wait for the billing person to talk about what my insurance would cover and costs). I couldn't wait any longer so I left the waiting room, went to the front desk and spoke to the initial woman that had an attitude and said that I needed to go and that can whoever I'm waiting for just call me with the info. She gets up and goes to the billing person's office and said that I want to leave. The billing woman comes out and said that she didn't even have my chart to tell me anything. I said that's fine, can you just call me whenever you can, today, tomorrow, I didn't care as there wasn't a rush. She was just as unhelpful and full of attitude as the first woman because all she said was that she's really busy and that I can call her to setup a time to talk about it later. Is that good customer service? That answer is no. You're the business, you serve the customer, not the other way around. Not only was this place taking up a lot of my time and actually wasting it because of their meeting, but now they wanted me to call them when it was more convenient for them?? Nope. I wasted a lot of time (and patience) at this place and with all the area dentists and specialists, I wouldn't give my business to any place that wasn't 100% professional, from the dentists to the office staff. People, own your health. If you're not 100% comfortable with every aspect of a dentist office, doctor's office, etc., shop around! It's your body so make sure you can trust everybody in the office and that they are all professionals. read more

We have two children who required oral surgery, one for an impacted tooth and another related to orthodontics. Because of schedule timing, we used two different doctors in the practice (Dr. Dusek and Dr. Anton) and both were very professional and took time to explain what would happen during the surgery and recovery time. Our kids are both under age 13 and they were not very happy about having to go through the surgeries but the surgeons and staff made us feel very comfortable that the kids would receive excellent care. We did not have any follow-up concerns, but they provided us a 24-hour emergency number just in case. During the consult appointments, both doctors gave us plenty of opportunities to ask questions, including interacting directly with the kids to see if their questions had been answered. I appreciate that we did not feel rushed during the consults. The office staff contacted me prior to the surgery day to go over the insurance coverage so we would know the amount of our co-pay ahead of time. I recently had a horrible experience with a local Webster supposed cosmetic dentist. She broke 3 jaw teeth off in my jaw after promising full extraction and place all on 4 implants on upper and lower. Well needless to say she stopped after breaking the 3 teeth off then tells my wife and I need to go else where to get the broke teeth out as well as the others. Fast forward to OSA and Dr Seeba. He dug out the broken teeth and healed me up. I asked for his advise and assistance in a path forward to get teeth replaced with implants or dentures as I would not be returning to the other hack. He and his professional staff went out of their way to get a game plan together, they recommended a Dr Dominguez to build my prosthetics and they took care of setting up a schedule to remove my remaining 23 teeth. Step 1 came down yesterday as I had my surgery to remove my remaining teeth, they did some bone grafts, installed my locating pins. I could not have asked to be treated better by my wife. The folks care about their patients. I have had a tooth removed 2 years back that broke off on its own 2 days before Thanksgiving by Dr Anton. I had my wisdom teeth removed here a few months ago and it was a pretty painful few weeks. Throughout that time, the staff and Dr. Anton were so helpful and understanding of the pain I was going through. They even came in on a Saturday to help with re-packing my empty sockets to alleviate some of the pain I was going through. To Mr. Garret S.: Things have not really gotten better since Jonathan P's review in 2013. I had an appointment @ 2:30pm today 8/21/15 but when the automated (not real) person called to confirm the appt. it was at 3:00pm all of a sudden. No Problem. I sign in at 2:35pm and the front desk clerk gave me the paperwork to fill out. I informed her that I had already mailed all of that in with payment. She found it, no problem. I took time to print off the forms from the website, type them up with my handy dandy Brothers typewriter. I got a money order for the exact amount of the appointment. I made a copy of my DL and sent everything in Priority Mail on 7/14/15. Ten min later someone asked me if I had insurance. We lets see......I took time out to type out the forms copy my DL and get a money order for the exact amount and you think if I had insurance I just forgot to copy my insurance card or just simply skipped over that part of my form because I'd rather pay out of pocket. SERIOUSLY!!!!! So now it's 3:30pm when they finally call me back. Why make an appointment for 2:30 just to change it to 3:pm and not get to me until 3:30pm. Then they asked me if I had x-rays and I told them that my dentist's office sent them already. I know they sent them because I was standing there when she sent them over. So they act like they never got them and call again to have them sent over. So Dr. Seeba comes in and he is wonderful which is why this review has 2 stars. Really nice, explained everything, very accommodating. I love Dr. Seeba. The consultation is over and now I am in the 2nd waiting area waiting for God knows what. All I need is a receipt and to make an appointment for the extraction. So as 2 people that came in after me get out first I get up to ask for my receipt so I can leave. NOW HERE IS THE FUN PART: There was this old lady coming out of the office with a walker and not one staff member opened the door for her. I had to open the office door into the lobby, the door from the lobby into the entry way and then the door to the outside. Employees walking by her and not one of them stopped to help her. AMAZING!!!! I then came back in and got my paperwork and left. I do think the staff needs to work on being more efficient and work on customer service. I will update this review according to how my next appointment goes. My Dentist at Touchstone dental in Dickenson referred me and Dr. K is amazing which is the only reason I am making the second appointment. To be continued...... read more
