I work as an Uber eats delivery driver and I must say in the almost 10 years I have done this job. This restaurant gave me one of my worst experiences. Called in an order to take brunch for my mom. Unfortunately the manager was on vacation, which seemed to leave chaos in the kitchen, and when I got to my mom's place, the sandwiches were literally empty inside! Whitefish salad ordered for both, but none on either one. See photos. The manager made good on it the next week. She personally made me two huge sandwiches (we could've shared one) and didn't charge for either one. They also had credited my card for the empty sandwiches received a week earlier. So that manager fixed a negative situation. On the plus side, the whitefish salad is kick ass, and their bagels are light and delicious. I also like that they put toppings on both sides of the bagel, not just on the top. This is definitely my go to place for picking up a bagel when I go to see my mom! read more

One of the best authentic bagel houses. It is a little on the pricey side but if you want really really delicious bagels, this is the place to go to. We had breakfast where we tried a spinach/egg/cheese on an everything bagel as well as the Lox on an onion bagel. Both were really tasty and freshly prepared. Lox comes with a heavy dose of cream cheese so be prepared for that. The capers in the Lox sandwich give it a really nice kick. The chai tea latte was OK, probably won't get it again. Hashbrowns are a little greasy. They also sell bagels by the Baker's dozen, half dozen, or individually. They provide freezer bags if you want to save for later. Parking can be cramped especially on weekend mornings but they offer additional parking in rear. read more

It's franchise bagels that are better than average as as those from a grocery store. Orders are rarely ever ready on time, and sometimes they aren't even aware of your order, leaving the staff frazzled and backed up. The prices on beverages and sandwiches are overpriced. Stopped in Wed and took advantage of their $3.50 bagel/cream cheese and coffee combo. The bagels here are probably the smallest I have ever seen. The cream cheese was good and a very healthy portion. Wish the bagels were bigger and there was a larger selection of cookies and other sweets. There were quite a few muffins, but limited selection of other sweets. Coffee was good and both hot and cold are self service options. Place has somewhat of an Einstein's Bagel vibe to it, even some of the fonts and layout of signage looked similar. Came here for lunch this past week. We got some coupons in the mail for a buy a lunch sandwich and two drinks and get a free lunch sandwich. We were greeted at the door and the person at the counter offered suggestions about sandwiches. We ended up getting the chicken pesto bagel sandwich and the pastrami sandwich, as well as two drinks per the coupon. The drink counter needs some re-vamping. I think it was around the time they were closing, and the iced tea smelled like a dirty bathroom. We poured out our tea and got coffee instead. Their iced coffee was better, but a little watered down. I like how you can put in squirts of different flavorings to your coffees, but these dispensers looked like they had been there for awhile. I think what makes this place a 2 star is the condition of the actual restaurant. It reminds me of a really really old McDonald's in design. The bathrooms were really smelly, and there were around 10 flies buzzing around inside the eating area because they had their door propped open. It made me wonder about all the food behind the counter and how many flies had landed on it. The sandwiches themselves were quite tasty. Loved the flavors of both sandwiches, although the pastrami probably won out. The pickle on my tray was a little dried out but I love pickles so I ate it anyway. They only give you a small condiment container size portion of either macaroni salad, potato salad, or something else that escapes my memory. I wanted to love this place, and as good as the sandwiches were, the atmosphere really makes you not want to eat there. There needs to be a little more attention to detail. read more

Bagels are pretty much my favorite thing ever. Unfortunately, the boyfriend does not feel the same way, so we must have driven past this place a few dozen times before I vetoed sushi the other day and insisted we come here for lunch instead. They must have renovated since the two star review from 2010, as everything looked pretty damn new and clean to me. There was a short line, which gave us almost enough time to look over the menu and ogle the huge selection of bagels. I really just wanted my perfect bagel I've loved since I was a kid (sesame bagel with butter, cheese, lettuce and tomato), and there was no drama at all ordering it even though it wasn't on the menu. The boyfriend had a focaccia that looked delicious, and he said as much. The place was pretty packed, but we were able to snag a table right away as someone waiting for a to-go order vacated, and the food was brought to us in no time at all. Everything was spot on, right down to the potato salad. Oh, and as we were leaving, the guy who took our order was eating his lunch at the next table, which is always a good sign, and he still stopped to thank us for coming. Pretty pricey for breakfast sandwiches. You will easily drop $20 or more for two people for little breakfast sandwiches and beverages. The parking lot is super small,awkward shaped,difficult to get in and out of. They have weird hours that seem to change often. Inside is a bit cramped and there's a few super tiny tables that are lined up against the wall next the where people wait in line. So if you want to dine in you have to have someone's butt in your face while you eat. read more

Today the place was dealing with a short staff in the middle of a blizzard and a lot of ppl coming in, and yet they were hustling a ton, food came out in a normal time and made perfectly. They were super polite (despite being stressed) and were great about filling the coffee pots as needed too. I typically have a great and an enjoyable time whenever my family and I visited the establishment but just the last time I not only saw one mouse running right in front of me when My son went Into the bathroom there was one just sitting there looking at him like he belonged there. We came here today on Nov. 23 thanksgiving 2017 and we expected to come and have great service as usual. As we were ordering our cashier Taylor was rude cussing under her breath and rolling her eyes as we were ordering. They took 45 mins to make 2 sandwiches and a bagel. It wasn't busy and it wasn't even close to closing. The workers making the food were cussing and freaking out about 3 small tickets. They also messed up our to lattes they were not even hot with no flavor and no whipped cream that we asked for. I don't think me and my boyfriend will be coming here again. read more

this place continues to impress me. i stop in every tuesday on my way to work. i'm usually running a tight schedule, but these guys consistently get me out the door in literally 5-8 minutes. i get the same thing (egg and cheese, toasted onion bagel) every time and by the time i fix my coffee my food is ready and i'm out the door. i can't stress enough the amazing service here. everyone is super friendly- the guy james is great- he knows my order before i even get up to the register. really A+ establishment. read more

Today, at around 4:40 pm I decided I would commit to the 35 minute commute to my local Manhattan Bagel for dinner since I hadn't had it in a long time and I really wanted it. Prior, I had checked the Manhattan Bagel website for the hours, as well as google and it said 6 pm, which would give me plenty of time. To my dismay, after driving 35 minutes and arriving, this location was closed and had posted on their door that they close at 3 pm. I wouldn't mind them closing at 3 pm otherwise, however I was annoyed that this was not what was depicted on their website. If I had known this, I wouldn't have made the drive. Update****** My husband and I went revisited this location after being invited back by the store manager. We received our order as we ordered it and the staff was much more accommodating. A week or so earlier I went in (due to an e-mail and promise of change by the manager) without my husband, I didn't tell the guy at the counter I was coming in the first time bc I figured its better to see if a place is better by how they treat their run of the mill customer. this place has truly changed for the better. I have been here exactly 4 times and will NEVER go back. My first experience was great, my husband and I got exactly what we asked for in a timely manner and with great customer service. The second time I was there was becasue my car broke down in the parking lot adjacent to them and I wanted some water (and a bagel) because it was super hot and I was hungry. After I purchased my water I sat down ate my bagel and waited for my husband to let me know when he was there. I was asked to leave becasue there were customers waiting for tables. Excuse me I just purchased nearly $9.00 of food and drink that makes me a customer. That was beyond rude! On top of it I was 7 months pregnant when this happened The third time I came in (my husband didnt know about the bad experience from the second visit) my husband adn I ordered a to-go order. My husband said he wanted a large coffee and the kid repeated the entire order back to us, including the coffee, but didnt ring it up. My husband was standing there waiting for his coffee cup and the kid was like "oh I didn't ring it up, did you still want it??" Why would you not ring it up he asked for it and you repeated the order to us, why would he, within seconds, choose he didnt want it? Additionally the coffee bar area was not stocked with milk/creamer and the sugar was empty. On top of it the hash browns we ordered were not cooked all the way and when they packaged them they stuck to one antoher and crimbled all over my car. We decided we would not be back again We had not gone back for some time, about a month, when we had an issue with our kitchen so we could not prepare our own meals. I went there to get us some breakfast and OMG they screwed up royally! There was a bit of a line but nothing outrageous. I ordered a bagel sausage egg and cheese on a toasted everything bagel with a hot chocolate. the guy rang me up and gave me a cup and a number for my food. I went to the coffee bar and there was no hot chocolate so I went wback and told him I asked for a hot chocolate and he was like "Oh I didnt hear that" ....how do you get coffee out of hot chocolate? and I am pregnant, why would I want a large coffee??? anyway I went to the coffee bar adn it was again under stocked. The coffee flavors (hazelnut, vanillia, and caramel) were all empty so I couldnt get the hazelnut hot chocolate I wanted but I was in a rush to go somewhere so I didnt say anything. While I waited for my food they called out numbers of ppl who ordered AFTER me. After waiting about 15 minutes I finally got my order and left. I should have checked before I left. My bagel was not an evverything, it was a plain. It was not toasted and it had bacon not sausage. At the time I realized it was the wrong order I was already about to get on the turnpike so I just ate it bc I was already running late. The quality of food is consistent with other Manhattan Bagel Co. stores but the service sucks adnt hey do NOT listen to what you say. This time I really will not be going back, ever! I decided to give this location a try and the service was sub par from the moment I walked through the door. I ordered the avocado, lettuce, and tomato bagel and the sandwich was mostly bread. I was only able to enjoy a third of it because of the lack of ingredients. I would not recommend this location. read more
