I placed an order for a Croissant Classic Breakfast with Turkey bacon. This croissant came with more cheese, partially melted than an egg (1 egg might I add). The cheese looked like it was stale as is. One slice of turkey bacon that was sliced in 4 and was overcooked. Scam of a breakfast. I do not recommend it! read more

Stopped on way to dentist-ordered farmhouse breakfast on rye bagel with a side order single hashbrown all for just over $11. The sandwich comes with egg, bacon and ham but on mine it might have well been plain. The ham was paper thin as was the egg. I'm not even certain there was any bacon at all. The hashbrown was tasteless as cardboard. Next time I'll keep going and stop at Mc D's. At least I'll know what i'm getting. read more

I visit here frequently for my daily NJ run. Always a great tasting breakfast on my way back to PA. Never had an issue and I enjoy the variety of fresh lox or lox spread. I enjoy the quality of bagels here. They have a great variety. read more

This place looks incredibly run down from the outside. It is very uninviting.But once you go inside it looks like a chain bagel joint. Had several kinds of bagels and a variety of cream cheeses. Also had some muffins and other small pastries. They had coffee as well with the torani syrup flavors next to it so you can do it yourself but I didn't try the coffee.I had an egg bagel with cream cheese. When I walked in at 12:20pm on a Wednesday, and was the only person there, that should have been my first indication. Figuring that maybe it was more of a breakfast place, I decided to just go ahead and try it anyway. I decided on the Manhattan Cheese Steak which came with a side of cole slaw, macaroni salad, or potato salad. The guy behind the counter forgot that I chose macaroni, and had to check back with me, because evidently one lunch customer is far too confusing. The "food" at this place is an insult to food everywhere. It cost about $6.30 for a soggy roll, dry disgusting meat, and macaroni salad which was merely a few macaronis swimming in some off-color mayonnaise. I may as well include that the staff seemed very disconnected from being friendly, they were robotic. It took me about 15 minutes to get my food, when again, I was the only person there. During Covid, my family has been having Bagek Friday's and love Manhattan Bagels. We get egg sandwiches on bagels and they are delicious!

The bagels were nice and fresh! The preparer made my order exactly the way I wanted it and it was absolutely delicious. The price was very fair for the amount of product that was in my sandwich. Definitely going to make another trip there soon! The assistant manager, John, that was working at the time ran a very smooth operation, since it was somewhat busy at the time. read more

I stopped into Manhattan Bagel on my way to work one day. I did not realize that it was a chain (I'm not usually a chain restaurant kind of person) but I sucked it up. I was happy to see that their bagels were ginormous like many other bagel spots - this way I didn't feel compelled to eat the entire thing. The price however costed just as much as a local mom and pop bagel shop that gives you much larger bagels with more cream cheese and better taste for the same price. I got a sesame bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese. I will probably stop in again if I need something quick and easy to eat read more

It's small and they are really busy. Regardless of the rating, the place is able to provide decent customer service and fantastic bagels. The employees have more of an aggressive approach to acknowledge customers quicker and faster, though most may think they are being rude they are just trying to get you your bagel as fast as they can with the best service they have. I enjoyed the Nova lox which has salmon, cream cheese, and onions which was fantastic but I could be biased since I love salmon so much :D read more

I had a cinnamon raisin bagel and coffee. The bagel was okay, although certainly not the kind of chewy, yeasty bagel you would expect in New York City, but the coffee was awful. It was stale and only lukewarm. And it was late morning when I stopped in. I don't think that I will return as there are other places in Phillipsburg and Easton. read more

The business owner is cheap and condescending! I buy here often to bring bagels to my church which is nearby and I have a frequent buyer card (buy 8 dozen get 1 free). He always gives me a hard time when I ask for my bagels to be sliced but last week when he saw I was redeeming my coupon for a free dozen he actually wanted to CHARGE ME FOR SLICING THE BAGELS! I came in and the owner took my owner only to pass it off to a middle aged woman with poor hearing. I had ordered a cheddar bagel with olive cream cheese. She went to put on the cream cheese soooo thin I could see through the scraping to the bagel. I asked her to add more, and she put on more to give a "normal" amount- certainly nothing excessive. I got that and a diet pepsi and she charged me 6.16... I asked for the receipt and it turns out she charged 1.09 for "extra cream cheese", which certainly was not extra, and the bagel with cream cheese already was 2.75... what a rip! The shame of it was it wasn't even good... an average not so cheesy cheddar bagel with barely an olive in the cream cheese. Severely disappointed and won't be returning or recommending this place to anybody and wish I wouldn't have wasted the money! read more

The owner's treat their employees very poorly. The employees are not allowed to speak to customers for more than 5 seconds or so and will get yelled at for doing so. I have personally heard the owner screaming at the employees on several occasions. They really treat woman very badly and are not nice to them. The employees walk around in fear that they are going to get screamed at. I also overheard the owner say that American's are lazy and stupid.
