When you walk in it's not your typical Indian restaurant. Well lit, spacious, simple but elegant furniture and decor. Food was appetizing, a treat to both eyes and nose. One of the best dosas I have had in New Jersey, well that's coming from someone who has dosas every other day! The sambar is typical Tamil Nadu style and good. Again not many restaurants get the sambar right. Pretty prompt and good service. The waiter could be more educated on the menu but was courteous. We also ordered Chicken Sukka and Andhra Chicken Curry. While they were good, had more spice than needed (not the hot spice but more garam masala). The banana leaf under the dosa is a nice touch. But the dried white water marks was a turn off. Overall a great experience and will go again. If they take care of some of these smaller issues at least a 4 star!

Ambience is nice, we tried their noodles and fried rice... tasteless and not worth any. Service was quicker.

Our to go order included the following Mushroom kulcha with fresh locally sourced chestnuts mushrooms from Noble Farms- I was expecting a distinct mushroom flavor but it was just an average kulcha. Garlic naan - quite good Forgotten Tandoori roti - since this was forgotten to be included will provide my feedback hopefully next time Palak paneer - tasted avenge on the day we ordered but the left overs tasted better the next day . County chicken curry - too oily but tasted good . The truth is , the oil contributes to better taste . Litti chokha- was the best of the lot . Little had good blend of spices that enhanced the flavor while the Choka had bold flavors served room temperature Complimentary Jeera rice was a perfect accompaniment to mix the Curries and the Onion side salad combination enhanced the meal . The restaurant is a small place in as strip mall but has a good ambiance. Except the forgotten Tandoori Roti that we paid for and they acknowledged , but asked us to drive back 30 minutes to pick up , the food was good & satisfying. We waited 5-7 minutes to be greeted, and while the server explained that everything is made fresh, the food took much longer than expected, with long gaps between each course. The fish lacked seasoning, the presentation of all the dishes was very basic, and the overall food was just average. One thing that really concerned me was seeing the server carry our drinking glasses with his fingers inside the rim before placing them on the table. We also weren't given napkins until we asked. For the amount we paid for two people, I expected much better service, presentation, and attention to detail. The concept is great, but the overall experience was disappointing.

Finally we ordered veg Manchurian Schezwan fried rice which is the best with all the flavors with right spices. We also tried Mango lassi , Indian soft drinks like Limca & Thums up. They also served the Gulab jamun which have a good taste too. Ambiance of this restaurant is pleasant and quiet. Finally all experience is good and want to come back again. What you wont find - tikka masalas, daals, vindaloos, kormas, naans and the like. What you WILL find is a much more expansive fusion menu with dishes you may not have seen elsewhere. Plenty of parking as this is in a newer strip mall. Lots of seating and quick service- our server was great at suggesting options as well. Baby Corn Pepper Fry- This was good, was hoping it was a dry dish as all the other corn dishes indicated sauce and this one didnt- but still was coated in a sauce. Corn was a little on the softer side but packed flavor. Schezwan Paneer (using their spelling) - Slightly crisp triangles of paneer that packed a punch with spice Gobi Manchurian Dry- while ours mistakenly came out with gravy they were quick to correct it. Hot and crispy with a flavorful sauce but by now all the flavor profiles were blending. Chili Hakka Noodles - I loved the smokiness but by now couldn't handle the spice. Wife's fav. Everything is spice forward- which tends to blur the flavor profiles after a bit. Still the servings are such that it's best to order a few diff things for everyone to try. White rice is optional and may help soothe some of the kick

Starting with the event food: it felt noticeably cheaper and lower quality, which was very disappointing. Prior to the event, we had all genuinely enjoyed the buffet food, so expectations were high. Unfortunately, the naan tasted frozen, like something from a bulk pack at Costco. It was thin, poorly made, and as someone who truly loves naan, I couldn't even finish a single piece. The meat and chicken dishes also did not taste nearly as good as they do during the buffet. The flavors were okay, but as someone familiar with South Asian cuisine, it was very underwhelming. Since this is the only Indian restaurant option in the area, that made the disappointment even greater. The staff overall was very kind and polite. The staff is truly amazing, very aware and ready to help which is wonderful!! They did an amazing job, 5/5 for the staff, no complaints there. However, my experience with the manager was not positive. He provided inconsistent and constantly changing information regarding the minimum number of people required to reserve the private room. For me, he told my partner and I that 45 people were required minimum. But later told my sister that it was 40 then 35 or 30 and it just kept changing. One change is not okay, maybe a mistake. But this? Not a mistake, definitely intentional. And if you don't know the correct answer, the right thing to do is find out before relaying any information. I found the inconsistency among the required number of guests and information extremely unprofessional, and it came across as money-driven, which was a major turn-off--especially when paired with the noticeably lower-quality food being served for a special event - aka a Wedding. Now, outside of the event, the buffet itself was excellent. The naan was fluffy and warm, and the chicken and meat dishes were flavorful and well prepared. Based on the buffet alone, I would have given this restaurant a 5 out of 5. The buffet is one I would recommend. However, due to how the event was handled, the inconsistencies, and the poor quality of food provided for what was supposed to be a wedding event, I have to rate this experience a 3 out of 5. Providing customers with inaccurate and inconsistent information, especially from a manager, is not professional and is simply not okay. ESPECIALLY because it was a private party as well in which they are making more money and taking images to promote the area.

Our choices were all vegetarians and I feel we couldn't have gone wrong with other vegetarian choices either. Service with smile. The owner took personal interest in ensuring we had a good time.
