The most incompetent clueless group of people you will ever come across. Horrible. I strongly suggest you find anywhere else to go to as they failed me completely before my surgery. Totally inept. read more

I have been very happy with their care. Went in for one thing but found other more important things that needed to be handled. While I understand they do not have MDs on staff, I have found their all of their staff to be highly competent, up-to-date on current topics, and caring. All of their recommendations have been confirmed by the specialists that I have been referred to. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my best friend or a family member. read more

Mango Medical was started apx 13 years ago by Tim Duerler. He has moved with his family to Spain and sold the clinic to Josh Lessard. Josh is an Advanced Practice Family Medicine RN. He has 2 doctors and 3 other APRN's. I started with them when no other clinic was taking new patients with Social Security. I have had breast cancer and multiple surgeries on my back. If they are unable to help, I have always been referred to a specialist. I have had excellent help. They are competent, friendly, and professional. I would never go anywhere else. My wife and I have been patients of Mango Medical since its beginning in 2013. All the Doctors, Nurses and Staff have been exceedingly kind and attentive to our needs. One of the staff as soon as possible takes our weight and vital signs. The doctor or nurse that we have an appointment with, personally comes to the waiting room to get us. We have never had to wait more than ten minutes and each patient is scheduled for 20+ minutes. My wife has now had four operations on her spine and each time she has been referred as requested. Their transition to the new owner was relatively smooth as they have sought new doctors which are a premium especially in small rural areas. A previous doctor we visited in a different area allowed only ten minutes per person and if you had a second ailment to discuss, you would have to schedule a second appointment. By the afternoon, the wait time could be several hours. Sincerely, David Gomes read more

Incredibly rude at the front desk. That tone of voice used with me usually gets someone slaps. I requested paperwork to fill out for my husband and the girl said in a snotty, rude tone of voice, You gotta pay, who's gonna pay"? I had no idea since I was getting papers for my husband and it was a work physical, but since they sent us, I would assume they had a billing agreement. But no- gotta pay out of pocket which is completely unacceptable in and of itself. That chick did not need to be so disrespectful to a now PAYING CUSTOMER! read more

Mango Medical - A Shitty place to get medical care! Go elsewhere! - Sleep Specialists Near Me - Kamuela, Hawaii

This is a group of physicians assistance, so they're very limited in knowledge and what they can actually do for a patient. I have been suffering a slip disc L4, which has domino affected my C4. Surgery is postponed until I build my bone, I was diagnosed with osteoporosis. I was seeing Shannon Richardson and asked her three times in six months for an MRI on my left shoulder and neck, the first time she told me I needed physical therapy, I said OK, she never sent a referral. This went on for six months. I was already in physical therapy for my L4 and my physical therapist was kind enough to work on my C4, however, we couldn't document it because he didn't have the referral. Then I went to my surgeon, he asked me if I was having problems with my neck and my shoulder, I told him yes, and he explained to me that is common for C4 to also slip due to L4. When I saw Shannon the next day I asked beer if she received my message about physical therapy, she said yes and that was it. Yes, I was frustrated and bI responded with,I've asked you three fu***** times in six month for physical therapy! I then proceeded to share what the surgeon said, her response was, I don't want to hear it! She sent me a letter firing me as a patient,I haven't read it yet. She kicked me off the medical records platform, so I don't have access to any correspondence or my medical records. I was told today they would send my records to my doctor, I don't want this clinic any where near, any of the medical professionals I'm seeing. I want physical access to my medical records. They're denying me that access. SHAME ON MANGO CLINIC & Shannon Richardson! read more

Such compassionate drs, nps and staff! I came to them with several medical issues and the level of of care I've received is the best! read more

This is the best medical clinic! I felt very lucky to get a same day appointment as a new patient. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I saw Dr. Gratz and he's wonderful! He didn't rush to get me in and out like most doctors from my past. He was very attentive, humble, kind, and knowledgeable. I learned more from this visit than from the past 15 years of going to other doctors. Dr. Gratz is the best! So happy I found this clinic! read more

Dr. Parker is incredible, he knows his stuff and I don't think I have ever had an MD sit with me and look me directly in the eye and talk to me as well as he does, he is a lifesaver. I could go on and on. Dr Joshua Lessard-Chaudoin is my wife's MD and he is excellent as well. Extremely attentive, kind, and highly knowledgeable, we leave feeling like we are in good hands every visit. The office staff is friendly and courteous even when they are slamming, they make you feel like you are important and that you matter, a rare experience these days in the medical field. read more

I have been a patient at Mango medical for a few years now. The front office is either not well staffed or does not care to return phone calls as they never have answered the phone when I call. I agree with other comments about the lack of professionalism. Some have a very rude behavior and "I no kea" attitude. They do have an online portal you can leave messages directly for the doctor (Duehler) but I have never received a response even to the simplest question. I'm over it and looking to sign up with a new doctor. Sad to say my husband has a serious problem and is getting the same poor service. If the staff or the doctors do nat pay attention to these ongoing complaints they will keep loosing patience. read more

I had to schedule twice for an appointment I understand due to covid things are a bit difficult I'm just very upset with the way they have handled things for me I still have yet to receive any phone call in regards to no one contacting me about my appointments that were scheduled. I have been contacting them and still no response. read more

This place offers THE WORST customer service! There is never anyone at the counter and receptionists/nurses are always in the back talking to one another. After nearly ten minutes and about the third time I nicely said "hello" a lady named Bobby poked her head out and said "hold on" and sassily shook her head and rolled her eyes. She finally made her way to the front and was the rudest person I have ever come across in a professional setting, as if my own presence was a huge inconvenience to her. Mind you there were no patients there since the place had just opened and I had to return to their office because one of their FNP forgot to sign his signature on paperwork that we paid him to fill out! She told me the nurse wasn't in yet. I asked her when he would arrive. She said "today". I asked if she knew what time she then said "8am", took the papers and walked away. This level of straight up unprofessionalism and rudeness is not okay! Especially for a place who states on their website that they are "patient centric" and "dedicated to providing thorough, personalized care to every patient who walks through the door". I can attest to the statement and say that that is a bold face lie! read more

Office staff very unorganized. Dr. Duehlr never looks up from his tablet... hates to be questioned and doesn't listen to patients.

Dr. Parker is simply the best doctor I have ever had. He listens - that, in itself, is remarkable and he looks at the entire picture of my medical issues. He respects his patients and that goes a long way in making you feel heard. I am very grateful to be his patient. read more

Let me say I'm sure the medical staff at this clinic are great. I'm writing because I contacted their administrative manager to address the Maui clinics administration lack of professionalism, lack of sense of urgency and complete ineptness to send my medical records to the correct referral office. I receive a call from an unknown person requesting appointment information because they received my medical records (in error.) The "Administration Management" as advertised on their website never contacted me nor apologizeed for the total violation of HIPPA federal laws. I will be certainly changing my pcp from this clinic because after 1.5 years of this really bad front desk and administrative fiasco I can take it no more. read more

I had a sleep study done a few years ago. It was the worse experience. I checked in late that night they got me prepped. I brought things to help me sleep soundly (except for ear plugs which I would not of in my wildness dreams thought I would need nor was It on the form I received of what to do before and what to bring for the sleep study). If you know Waimea you will know it is beautiful farmland. I was woken up around 11:30 with the sound of three roosters out my window I couldn't believe it I felt as if I must of been getting punked. It was actually funny as I laid their like a Mummy all rolled up with wires rolled all over my body from head to toe. I was able to roll over to check my phone for the time I was asleep for about a hour. I rolled over the best I could with the wires attached all over and looked at my phone to see the time when I was woke up the second time 12:10. This now was not funny anymore. A sleep study that I am unable to get to a deep sleep. They had a camera in the room were the nurse was watching me. I remember staring at it saying this is unbelievable I need your help. She came into the room explained how they have been trying to get rid of the roosters as she was standing on my bed trying to get the sliding windows closed that was over my head. She was only able to get half of it closed the other side was stuck. I asked her to get down from my bed I didn't want to see her hurt herself or worse fall on me when I had know way of stopping her fall. She proceeded to let me know that since they had moved to this location, before they were located at the hospital, they have had problems with these roosters and It seemed some nights more then the other. She left as the roosters stoped but within the next hour they started again. I believe my wake up time was at 5:00 am when the nurse came in I was already awake. I could not wait to leave. Once she unwrapped me I was directed to do a survey in the lobby. I remember letting them know how I felt and how unprofessional this location was or how they at least needed to get the window fixed. I was told I would have no charge. 8 months later I received a bill from them for $162. I also received a bill for $42 from a outside doctor that confirms their findings. I was shocked I got a bill. I called to only get the runaround on the mango medical sleep study department. Every other month I would receive a bill I would call they would say they were working on it. For the outside doctor it only took one phone call they called back a few days later said the bill was waved and that I was not the only one that has complained about excessive rooster noise. 10 months have gone by, now I received a bill from a collection agency for the unpaid bill and that I had 1 month to pay it or it would be placed on my credit report. I had no choice to pay something I felt was not done correctly. I called to let them know I was only paying this because I was being threatened with this going on my credit report. This was a few months ago. I woke up today with a alert from a credit reporting agency I pay for to let me know of any changes on my credit report. Yes the collection deportment reported it even though I payed the bill. Just got off the phone with both the collection department which said they were never notified it was payed. To mango medical billing department that showed it was payed but was unable to see if the collection department was notified since their system was all automotive it would take days to try to find a answer. If I could rate them a zero I would but a one was the lowest it would go. Thanks to my daughter she said I need to at least let others know of my situation. Since I have a voice that may be heard if not by them but by those that are looking to go to them this is what I can do. read more
