My first time trying Mango Mango and I enjoyed it. There is a tablet where you make your order and pay. You don't really interact with the staff, they only call your name when your order is ready. Very simple and easy process. My friend ordered a slice of the mango crepe cake, it was around $8 plus some change. I personally liked the cake a lot because it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet, I was actually surprised that it was a pleasant bite! The mango syrup poured on also tastes amazing. I hope to be back to try out other desserts.

Let me just start off with saying the mango ice cream is yummy! In the first picture, the mango ice cream with the lychee jelly was delicious. I think that's all that I would get from this place. The smoothie was alright. It was good, but it's nothing to write home about. The place is super cute. Nice location to hang out and chill with friends.

Not too bad service is slow and the tables and bathrooms looked barely cleaned. The food overall was ok, but in my opinion I have had better for cheaper. Now for what we ordered. The strawberry mango smoothie I though would be a slam dunk, however it tasted bitter almost like they used unripened fruit. Not very sweet and bitter. 2/5 Durian ice cream sundae defines tasted like durian and my wife throughly enjoyed it. 4/5 I had the warm taro soup with soba it was good but was a little disappointed that I found they used a taro paste rather than fresh taro. Tasted good but could be way better if fresh. 3/5 Raspberry yogurt cheese cake was blah. It was very plain like some raspberry mixed with Greek yogurt. Very plain and not very sweet. I mean their is too sweet and then bland. The black tea with rose was good but for a cup or two it's not worth the price. Overall overpriced and underwhelming. The staff also just says foods ready no thank you or anything. They need friendlier staff.

Absolutely LOVE Mango Mango! The green tea ice cream with red bean and mochi toppings is my absolute favorite-most like the desserts I used to have in Thailand! There is tons of seating in this place and it's a great place to hang out with friends! The service is fantastic, with great attention to detail; and they take their time to make you a quality item! Highly recommend!!

Mango ice cream with mango juice, Sago & Pomelo; Coco Mille Crepes; oreo mille crepe

Cute dessert spot with delicious treats. I've tried the mango, pomelo, sago and mango ice cream bowl (?) and it was very good. Mango was fresh, ice cream was light and it was overall refreshing but there was not a lot of pomelo. I've also tried the Oreo and Matcha mille crepes and they are just the right amount of creaminess and sweetness. A friend got the cocoa mille crepe and they said it was good too. It is a little pricey (averaging about $7 or more a dessert) so I am sad that Mango Mango wasn't in Dinkytown when I was still in school, but it was probably a good thing because it would have been dangerous for my wallet.

More like brown sugar milk. I wouldn't call this tea ever

Kung fu tea is better than this place and that's saying something. The drink was 90% milk (I ordered the brown sugar milk tea, what I always order when trying a new place because it's a good gauge since it's a standard), I tossed it after a few sips. So milky. Trash. It's self service so you can't do light ice/extra ice or sweetness level. It's all off of an iPad so you can't adjust your drink at all besides additions which are all $1. Also the service was trash. 3 workers (Sunday 4/16/2023 @3:50pm). There was one other couple leaving as I came in and the lady behind the counter yelled at them to put their own plates and stuff away (it's not that clear where to put them in the first place) the customer then almost dropped the glass while the lady behind the counter is getting frustrated. I understand self service is a thing but lord if you're literally doing nothing but itch your ass on TikTok then why can't you put it in the bin? But the only issue is that the other two workers are just on their phones this whole time. My 2 drinks also took 10 mins because only one person was making them while the others sat there. All this to say I wouldn't care if the tea was good but was sooooo bad. They have the audacity to ask for a tip also? Please.

First time trying this was in Chicago when I was still living there. From my memory, I thought it was ok nothing like "OMG I must return". So never had the urge to go check this place out when it opened in MN. Finally decided to give it another try and it's about the same. It was good but nothing "OMG." Mango juice with sago &pamelo and mango ice cream- nothing too special. It was the first item on the list and it had fresh mango and ice cream in the photo so thought I give it a try. Mango was fresh and sweet. Ice cream was good. Sago and pamelo was interesting. However, I don't know why there were grapefruit pieces on it. It was not in the photo. It had a weird taste and did not blend it with the mango flavor at all. Part of it was bitter, which is typical of grapefruit. But part of it tasted ROTTEN! Honestly wasn't sure if it was worth mentioning so didn't say it and took it off since it didn't affect the rest of the mango dessert. But yea grapefruit is a BAD addition to it. 2/5 Mango crepe- was recommended from the cousins. It was Milky. Didn't really hit the home run for me but my cousins liked it. Fruits was good. 2/5 Mango slush- prob my favorite out of the 3. What is not to like about a mango smoothie with fresh mango on top with the addition of sago? First had sago in Vegas and loved it so decided to add it and it was good. It was sweet and freshening as a whole and would def come back for the drink only. 4.5/5 They have a cute dine-in set up with a little mango swing for photos. A cute little place for a dessert date. Overall, not too bad but not a you must come back again for it. A good first time experience.

Durian crepe cake, so yummy !!

Fall in love with the durian flavor crepe cake! So yummy, taste almost like the real durian fruit. My next flavor is the tiramisu, mango is not really have the flavors. Very good cake, wish it's a little cheaper. I would go back for the durian. Cute place to relax and enjoy a piece of cake.

This waffle was so chewy and the perfect amount of sweet. It was definitely my favorite part! The ice cream was also a good pairing with the warm base. There aren't many dessert places on campus so this is a fun place to go. It's a little cramped and busy! The service model is self service so I do think it's a little on the pricey side for what it is. It wouldn't be a place I could frequent. Still worth it for a rare treat!

The shop is super cute and I am happy to have Hong Kong/ Asian/ Chinese style dessert options in MN however the food and service could use some improvement. The brown sugar choux pastry I got had little to no taste, the mango ice cream dessert was okay, and the durian pancake was yummy but the crepe/skin part could be more fresh. The service here is also quite lackluster - they often seemed confused of your questions and order. Willing to give the maple grove one a shot next time.

this is my second time trying their drinks! I do like the passion fruit green tea, but i dont like boba. Not a very big fan of boba. But the taste of the tea was pretty good, the green tea was not too overwhelming. The strawberry shake was good, my niece love it.

This does not look like the photo on the menu because they gave me a cup to put my dessert in instead of doing it themselves.
    Baby P.

One star for service, three stars for food, so average of two stars. Part of the reason we wanted to dine here was because of how pretty the desserts looked on the menu. We definitely said we wanted to eat at the restaurant but when our food arrived, they were all in take out containers. I went to the counter with my dessert and asked if they can make it like it was on the menu... and they handed me a cup to put the dessert in. Our entire group was very disappointed by the experience especially, when we left a 20% tip. Unfortunately, the experience did dampen my taste of the dessert. Also, please beware of their tipping options: 20%, 30% and custom ($ amount).

    Gennie L.

i love mango mango! there's plenty of options to choose from. they've got drinks, asian desserts and a wide variety of sago. we ordered the mango sago (with no ice cream) and a milk tea. both were delicious! next time, i'm definitely trying the matcha crepe roll! service was great - we went close to closing time, but they still prepared the drinks and desserts super quickly, and we were still able to dine in. parking can be difficult since it's located in dinkytown. overall rating: 10/10

Milkjam Creamery sets the standard for what great ice cream should be. The flavors are inventive,…read morethe texture is consistently creamy, and everything tastes carefully crafted rather than gimmicky. My go-to flavors are Uncle Grandpa, Uma Thurman, and Pineapple Lychee. Uncle Grandpa is comforting and rich, Uma Thurman is smooth and indulgent without being heavy, and Pineapple Lychee is bright, tropical, and incredibly refreshing. Even if you're not usually a sorbet person, this one converts people. What really says it all is this: Milkjam is the one ice cream shop I make a point to visit every single month. I don't do that with any other ice cream place. The quality is that consistent. The shop has a fun, welcoming vibe, the staff is great with samples and recommendations, and the rotating menu keeps things exciting. If you love ice cream and live in (or are visiting) the Twin Cities, Milkjam is non-negotiable.

Milkjam Creamery is a small but inviting ice cream shop right next to World Street Kitchen. From…read morethe moment we walked in, the staff was immediately very welcoming and kind. There was one group ahead of us, but that gave us time to look through the list of unique flavors they had to offer. Most of the flavors had goofy names that added an element of fun to the experience that I appreciated. With only one employee working at the time, we waited a couple of minutes before being helped, but it was very reasonably quick. Given the fact that a lot of the flavors were unique, we wanted to try a lot of them, especially because it was our first time. Each month, there are a few rotating flavors. This month featured a Valentine's chocolate lineup. I ended up trying five flavors and felt too guilty to try more. I honestly was not a fan of most of the flavors I tried. I expected to enjoy the PB vs Everybody (a peanut butter banana ice cream with oreo chunks), but the banana really threw me off. The Tru Luv (milk chocolate truffle with chocolate almond crunch, caramel chocolate fudge) also had a "weird" kind of chocolate flavor that I didn't really enjoy. In retrospect, I'm not really sure how to describe it. I ended up choosing the Lemon Drizzle Cake and Ridin' Duuurty (oreo milk with oreo chunks and salted peanut butter). The Lemon Drizzle Cake had a very pleasant textural contrast, and the lemon flavor was not too strong. It was just enough to come through without being bitter. As for the Ridin' Duuurty, I was actually very hesitant to pull the trigger on this flavor. Typically, cookies 'n cream is one of my favorite ice cream flavors, and I also tend to really like peanut butter-flavored sweets, so this seemed like it would be a no-brainer. But when I sampled it, the ice cream base tasted weird. It had "oreo milk", which I wasn't sure about, but definitely wasn't quite what I was expecting. I ended up going for this flavor just because I was pretty sure I would still enjoy the flavor of two components I typically love in my desserts. I was surprised to see I actually enjoyed it slightly more after the fact. The peanut butter comes as a little cube that I didn't really get in my sample bite, which definitely helped. As for the ice cream itself, it had a very nice consistency. The ice cream wasn't overly creamy, yet it was still very rich and smooth. Although Milkjam has a lot of unique flavors, all of them are on the sweeter side. Even the default vanilla flavors are "sweet cream" and have "sweetened condensed milks". Because of this, I don't think Milkjam would be everyone's cup of tea, but they have so many interesting flavors that are at least worth giving a shot. Scoops are on the pricier side, with single scoops starting at 6.50, jumping to 8.50 for a single split scoop, and 11.50 for a double. If I were to come back, I probably wouldn't get anything more than a single. Scoop sizes aren't very generous, and an additional two dollars for the split scoop definitely didn't feel worth it. Milkjam wouldn't be my first choice, but every once in a while, I would be happy to come back to try out their rotating flavors and give others a shot.
