My facial with Terril was very relaxing. We went into the treatment room and discuss what my concerns were with my skin and what I was hoping to get out of my appointment. One thing I really liked was that the table was heated because I've been having some issues with my back that make it uncomfortable to lay down so having that heated surface under my back made my appointment even more relaxing. My skin felt amazing when she was done, even though she had to do a few extractions. I was so pleased that I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for a few months out so that my skin will be able to recover from the upcoming summer months. After treatments she'll get me some coconut water to hydrate which is a nice bonus. A tip is to get their membership if you plan on getting treatments more regularly since you get a special members price and can get points for visits which you can redeem for a free service. I've decided to give this place a try because I got a membership there and was coming for massage anyway. I've never had anything like this. Almost drive-thru. The esthetician appeared to be experienced, but had bossy and almost condescending attitude. It was weird and uncomfortable. And so was the facial. IMHO the difference between facial massage and rubbing someone's cheeks in a hurry is not only in length of the procedure, not only in what areas of the face were worked on. There should be an intent to relax the face, full hand contact and massage to tone the muscles, maybe extractions, or hydration, a mask to address unique needs of person's skin. RARE but very good estheticians used to massage decolte and hands as a part of facial as well. But this one was weird. She cleaned my face in a hurry, rubbed my cheeks and neck, and then dumped something on my face and spread it on with a brush. That potion was left on my face for few min and was wiped off with a wet towel IN A HURRY as if she did not want to touch my face!!!! That was it !!! I was offered to purchase some other services later, and that was the end of my facial!!! I'd say 15 min start to finish. I've never ever had a facial this unpleasant, tensing up, short, minimalistic and costly. It was a waste of my time and money.

They also don't do the hot wet towels on your back to wipe off excess oil. I was not impressed when I left with so much oil on my feet I was sliding around and my car seat had residual massage oil when I got out. The man who gave me a massage awkwardly ended it by saying, "okay, that's it". And walking out. No, I'll meet you outside or we'll have tea for you... completely abrupt and odd. I walked out after dressing and the front desk lady was nice enough but said she didn't know I wa done and was going to go get me water and snacks.
