I saw a bag from here on my vegetarian coworker's desk and decided to come check it out. It's a little out of the way from the main retail area near St Paul's, but if you head toward Millennium Bridge, you can't miss it on the right. The menu is very simple: they have fresh made ravioli and cappellacci (they look like tortellini) with a choice of 3 sauces, 2 of which are vegetarian. There was also a special of the day, which was was strazzapreti (more normal type of pasta) in a mince beef sauce. Prices are reasonable, considering it's gourmet fresh pasta, with a pasta box for £6.50 and a meal deal with salad and bread for £8.20. The salad is a garden salad of decent quality and the bread also seems fresh, but it's not a must have. The cappellaci that I got was very al dente, but otherwise it is very tasty. I think this type of place appeals to those who put a premium on fresh pasta, but I probably wouldn't come here all that often for lunch. They do have packages of cook at home pasta to take away, which are £4.95 and probably not too much more than what you would pay at the supermarket, so I might try that sometime. read more
