This time was also my first time enjoying the salt lounge. It took a minute for my brain to quiet and full enjoy it but it was much needed after a crazy busy and exhausting week. I have been trying to give my body and mind the TLC they so desperately crave while being on a big project at work that makes my brain crave peace and quiet as soon as I log off so this was perfect! As always the staff were wonderful and attentive and I felt so relaxed and refreshed after. I can't recommend visiting Asha enough. Also, the price for 2 hrs is amazing! Thank you for another wonderful time and looking forward to visiting again! Pro-tips: -Bring two towels (the extra one for sitting in the sauna/steam rooms is ). -An extra bag/trash bag is essential for your wet items. -Make sure to hydrate before and during, but also..have a water bottle waiting in your car when you're done. -Bring lotion!

I would suggest bringing 2 towels (one to use, one to dry off with after), slides that won't slip, a water thermos, a full set of clothes to change into, and a snack for later. They have towels and shoes available for rental and lockers to store your things. I love this place.

The member who I was a guest of is a West Sacramento resident. Since I work in West Sacramento, what's super neat is that they have a Corporate Rate that matches the Resident Rate for passes (Individual Only), which comes out to $7 for adults, $5.50 for seniors/students daily, or $39.50 monthly for adults, $26 monthly for seniors/students rate. Regular admission (non-resident) is $14 daily or $73 monthly for individuals. They also have Couple and Family rates. For evening hours after work, in the Group Exercise room, generally, there is a Cardio Lift, Yoga, or Zumba class offered each hour or so between 4 PM and 7 PM. There is also Kinesis, Aqua Fit, and Spin in other areas of the Center. They also have a basketball court (youth, teen, and adult sports), typical gym machines space, small group personal training, a pool, and a rock climbing wall. Parking was full because it's summertime and the hot weather brings everyone to the pool. Overflow parking goes into the high school lot, with some shade trees. Might get a pass as a complement to my Orangetheory membership.

Adj: Good and Getting to Great, gratefully…read more Gym's been improving, nooks and crannies could still use more deep cleaning once a year at least, but the ledges are not so dusty anymore. I know those window sills, etc. are very hard to keep up as dust just descend and cake on pretty quickly, but I appreciate the efforts to keep those ledges at least partially clean. Staff remain cheerful and welcoming, and many of them are doing a lot more cleaning, dusting, emptying trash cans, refilling paper towels, sprays, and wipes, and some of them vacuum. It's all getting better and it seems more and more people are coming to this location, so the cleaning will need to be kept up. The swimming pool certainly is a big draw, people want to do their lap swimming and with no pool at the Pocket location, the Greenhaven branch becomes the default for this area, so I'm noticing more new members. Women's locker room look better now, no more overfilling feminine products disposal bins. Sometimes the floor is still wet, so maybe more mopping up every couple of hours or for a staff to check or even just leave a mop for members to mop up the wet floor is a good idea so people don't slip and fall, especially since this location has a lot more senior gym members who have been coming to this location back from when it was Greenhaven Racquet Club. Anyhow, sometimes the women's locker room is TOO cold, the AC is turned WAY high, and other times it's like completely off and stuffy, so maybe moderate that. Finally, lately the women's sauna was down, and it was fixed within a few days so that was good. Hope this gym branch will continue to improve as it is a pretty nice community here, the staff are friendlier here.

Antonio the new manager has beefed up the upkeep of the gym overall. Sometimes the men's locker room could use some more periodic mopping of the floors for safety as well as cleanliness, but this location is still the cleanest one south of downtown and closest clean one to us. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially Ajay and Connor. They are taking on much more janitorial duties than we've seen staff at other locations doing so. Notably, Ajay and Jasmine we've seen clean quite a lot, as well as the older gentleman who's a new staff (have not gotten his name yet), my wife saw him vacuum late one evening this week, and Antonio himself sets an example. We appreciate his leadership to set the bar higher. The gym is older, but MOST of the staff are doing their best at keeping the gym in good shape, some staff do less though, I won't name names. Members do pay attention... But all in all, staff are all available and helpful.

While we were walking around a family was having a party and plenty of people were utilizing the different areas for sports. There were also some people walking their dogs, like us, but some people had their dogs off leash in some of the bigger areas. There wasn't a dog park area. it was beautiful while we were there and everything was clean and well kept.
