Michelle is a wizard! I got bridal ready last year for my wedding in May and ordered the largest…read morequantity possible to fill out my very thin, naturally fine hair so that it could be as thick as possible for my wedding day and Michelle did NOT disappoint, I still have like 10 tips in and get compliments all the time about how "long" my hair is. Lol, I got them done last May and still have at least half a head of these k-tips in to this day. Michelle's salon is a little interesting to get to as she's located within a plaza full of other businesses, but the area is nice and close to the train if you need. Michelle is super sweet and super responsive! She knows her stuff, has a ton of experience, and worked so fast, I think she put in like 20-40+ tips (can't remember but I still have a lot left and have lost 10+ so far, so I'm assuming she put in closer to 40?), and she completed the hair in less than an hour with styling. She was so pleasant to get to know, and I look forward to visiting her salon again in the future. As for the tips, I have started manually removing the super tangled ones, and some others have fallen on their own, which I don't mind. The K-tips have grown with my hair and are now below my waist, hitting my hips, they still look amazing almost like the day she put them in. I was pretty upset with how expensive these were, but since they were for my wedding, I coughed up the money and have since gotten double or triple my money's worth. I will say that where some of the tips have fallen off, they damaged my hair, but I'm good with that since I'll be cutting my hair after the rest of the tips fall out. I am so, so happy with my extensions from Michelle! In total, I paid: 1,150 + 100 + tip, which turned out to be ~1,238.70, but I got the "Mac Daddy" longest bundles she had, 22 inches, I believe. I have not treated them very well, and they have somehow still held. I also have dyed them probably more than 10 times with the rest of my hair with no issues. The quality of her hair extensions is amazing! Unless you tell someone, they probably won't know you have extensions. Next time I have another special occasion, and she's available, I'm definitely booking again with Michelle. For a first-time experience with K-tip extensions, I could not have gone with anyone better. FYI--if it's your first time getting hair extensions, know it can be painful to get used to since the extensions weigh down your natural hair, and as they fall out, they will rip your natural hair out unless you're gentle. THIS WILL HAPPEN NO MATTER where you go, btw, there's really no way to avoid it, unless you get them in for a few days and then removed after, or you're an expert with these and know how to take care of your hair with tips in. You could also pay extra to have her remove them if you need that later. I untangle them manually, and so far, that's worked for me. Style as per usual, keeping in mind the bumps where the tips are attached/glued to your natural hair.

Michelle is the absolute best!…read more I had never had hair extensions before and she made the process seamless while also answering my 1,000 questions. Michelle installed my hair extensions about a month before my wedding and my hair was perfect for the big day and I still love how the extensions look currently. The extensions color match, hair thickness, and how it can be styled matched my hair impeccably. Michelle truly is a master of her craft and I really appreciate how beautiful she made me feel for my wedding (and for the many months after!) Michelle is also so much fun to spend time with - my hair installation and move-up appointments are always something I look forward to! Her salon is chic, stylish, and welcoming and I can't wait until I get to go see her again,

The front desk is welcoming and kind. The service is great with such a spa experience when getting my hair washed. The attention to my hair trim and drying my thick hair was exceptional. I took advantage of a complimentary consultation with her prior to the haircut to discuss the best option for my cut. I told her I did not want short bangs and to cut it dry because the out come is more predictable due to my wave patterns and cowlicks. I also told her I was very concerned about my side profile and my jawline exposed. She my bangs off so short they are mid way on my forehead which exposed my hairless brows. She cut the back length which was mid length up way above the back of my neck hairline! She cut the bulk of my hair wet and dried it and OVER TEXTURIZED my hair all over and simply cut the living piss out of it! I have to use tons of root lifting product DAILY just to keep it from looking packed to the sides of my head! the shape of my oblong face is pronounced poorly with my head looking like a rectangular BLOCK! It is so awful! now I have to spend the next 6 months growing it out. Also, when I walked into the salon prior to discuss making an appointment with the receptionist,I was given a cost estimate card for procedures. I was quoted and the card said the hair cut was 75.00. So, when I went to pay for the haircut, They gave me a bill of $150. and asked if I wanted to include a tip on top of that!!!!! I told the receptionist I was told the cost would be 75.00 and she said " well that is for the regular hairstylists, not the senior stylists. I said I wish I would have been told that. I felt like a lamb to the slaughter! the cut made me look terrible and I felt price gouged as well!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET HOSED!!!

She's been such a fierce advocate for my hair health I can't believe I got so lucky and found her. She is thorough, sharp, and straightforward. I brought up dying my hair in our first appointment and she kindly suggested we get my hair back to health first and go from there. THE BEST! No upselling or pushing products on me just truly wants my hair to thrive! I have to tell you, she has a firm exterior but she has the biggest heart. Our conversations have brought me so much peace and joy. I've always wanted a hairdresser and can come to and decompress with and that is Geena for sure. She gives the best advice but will always tell it as it is. I cannot reccommended her enough!

I have fine, frizzy, breakage-prone hair that I've struggled with my entire life, and Geena was the first stylist to ever truly explain why -- and what to actually do about it. She's intentional, honest, and genuinely invested in your hair health -- not just how you look walking out the door. She adjusts recommendations seasonally, confirms the plan before every appointment, and sets real expectations. Nothing feels routine and everything is customized. She is respectful of your time and I'd expect customers to do the same, but it's Bellevue so... some people don't realize that that goes both ways! Since December, my hair is the healthiest it has ever been in my life. Less breakage, more thickness, easier to manage. I have had family members and friends comment on how healthy my hair looks for the first time EVER! And that is not an easy compliment or comment to get from Indian families! The color blend is so seamless it just looks like my natural hair, but BETTER. On top of all that, she's warm, funny, direct, and professional. I always feel heard and respected. I actually look forward to my appointments and love love love chatting with Geena. I look forward to our kiki every month -- and I leave taking a million selfies every single time. If you value honesty, hair health, and real results -- book with Geena. Can't believe it took me several decades to finally figure out how to get manageable hair, I LOVE YOU GEENA!!!

For the hundreds of dollars I spent a on a color, highlight and cut, I expected really good service. I had color all over my forehead and both cheeks. When I asked about the large circle on my forehead, I was handed a color off wipe so I could wipe the color off myself. Although the mark was more of a slight chemical burn. The stylist had completely forgot I booked a haircut until halfway through foils , so she did a quick dry cut after drying my hair before styling. I was there for about 5 hours and I left with a light shade of blonde in the back of my hair and a darker Caramel color in the front . When I got home I noticed I had some bleach bleeds in the back (she did not show me the back once) I showed photo and said I like ashy blonde and they toned me with 8G an 9NW - which means my hair was very gold/Carmel aka a tad orange. I don't mean to drag anyone in this review, but I want to be honest. There is nothing worse than spending a ton of money then go home and fix your hair, luckily in another life I worked as a hairdresser and am able to fix my hair , but not everyone can.
