There was no one here that worked here and nothing around to reach behind. I walked over to the nearby hairdresser to borrow a broom and was able to recover a couple of things. A sock of mine is lost forever. One of the biggest surprises was washing machines and dryers that run on credit cards. My company prefers we use credit cards and makes it difficult to use cash for expenses. That earned them another star. Everything worked just as advertised and my clothes came out clean and dry. Next time I'm in town and need to do some laundry, I'd go back. Just be careful where you put your clothes.

Long post alert! I…read morewent to take my birthday pictures today and decided on a laundromat concept. After searching on Yelp for the most aesthetic laundromat in New Orleans, Holy Sheets came up as #1...and once I saw the photos, I already knew this was the one. The floors alone sold me! I also had an oversized blanket to wash, so I figured I could kill two birds with one stone. When I arrived, I sat and waited for my photographer, then went to ask a staff member a question about starting my wash. That's when she let me know photos weren't allowed, but she offered to check with the owner. A few minutes later, he arrived (I hate that I can't remember his name), greeted customers, and then came over to speak with me. I explained it was for my birthday shoot, and he kindly let me know it was a busy time and he didn't want to make other customers uncomfortable, but he offered to schedule another time for us to come back. Very respectful and professional. Of course, with a scheduled shoot, we couldn't really pivot like that, so I thanked him and started making other plans. BUT then...he came back and said we could go ahead and take pictures, just to be mindful of customers and stay on one side. That meant so much! Even though people naturally started moving into that area (lol), we made it work, and he was super accommodating the entire time. I really appreciated that level of kindness and flexibility. Now let's talk about the space, this laundromat is BEAUTIFUL, if laundromats can be beautiful lol. Clean, bright, and very well-maintained. The floors? Stunning. The machines were all in working order, plenty of baskets available, and I love that they offer full-service wash and fold options too. What stood out the most was the customer service. He greeted people as they came in, listened attentively to customers, and created a welcoming environment. Overall, such a great experience. Thank you for being a part of making my birthday special!

I reported to the employee on duty that dryer # 29 did not dry my clothes. The employee followed me to dryer #29 and touched the clothes and agreed they were not dry. I asked for a refund and I was told that I had to write my name and number and she would give it to the owner and the owner would contact me. After several weeks I still had not received a call from the owner therefore, I returned to Soap City and I spoke to the same employee ( I reminded her who I was) about the refund. I was told that the owner had taken my information " but she's really busy". I asked " should I hear from her soon"? She said "yes". It's 8 months later and I have not heard from the owner. They also called to make sure I was using a container that would keep everything together for the sake of their drivers which I thought was sweet. They sent someone to pick the order up from my house, washed everything, folded it, and got it back to me even quicker than my usual service! It was a little more than I was expecting but admittedly that's my fault because I didn't check to see how much I put in the hamper. Plus when they sent me my clothes back not a thing was missing and they sent along a little toy! It's a small golden egg with a disco ball and a little poem about laundry inside which I thought was really cute. My kitten loved the egg and has been whacking it around the house since. There are four vending machines available for use. If you forget to bring your own laundry detergent, there is a vending machine. A bill-to-bill machine to break large bills into smaller ones. Also, a machine to create a laundry member card for washing/ drying machines. The soda machine was refreshing. A large TV was great to keep people entertained while waiting for their laundry to finish. Staff were friendly and helpful to all patrons. I was able to wash all my clothing without any problems. I used my own debit card to pay for all the machines used. Some people brought their dirty laundry to the rear to be washed, folded, or hung up. I encourage you to look at my photos.
