This place absolutely knows it's stuff when it comes to how the body works, where everything is, and how to get things back to where they need to be. However, they are not absolute professionals on the art of pure relaxation. Finding the place was a little funky in being guided by Apple Maps but the best way I could describe how to locate would be to pretend you are going to Island Brewery. When you are walking back behind on the left look for a run down building with a big 550. Once you are inside there go up the blue stairs and say a soft "Hello?" They will come out and greet you then! I had visited this center on recommendation from a family member to release some shoulder stress and relax my neck. I had a Groupon deal which they were totally compliant with and treated me as any other paying customer. The gal who massaged me was a human anatomy whiz and literally talked through every single thing she did. I was very amazed at all her knowledge but definitely a little less relaxed that I would've liked to be with all in the information overload and the loud beeping truck outside the window for over half the massage. I totally understand the noise outside had nothing to do with the masseuse herself, and she was absolutely fabulous at her job, don't get me wrong, I'd just like it to be a little more relaxing all together next time around. I was very thankful, though, for the follow up information she texted me about products I could get for self-help at home. The experience overall was A-Okay and I would recommend to anyone looking to learn more about their body pains and how to better fix them themselves, but maybe not those looking to go and relax for an hour of de-stressing. In the long run, the massage really helped me out and I'm very thankful for the unique patterns the masseuse showed me.

I highly recommend Carpinteria Wellness because of this massage today which exceeded my every expectation. I will absolutely be returning for more treatment. I went in for a 30 minute massage- mostly because I was testing it out. I had to insist that I only wanted a 30 minute massage before I went in and was asked to pay ahead of the massage. During the massage, Dave told me- no less than 10 times- that 30 minutes was not long enough and tried to get me to increase to an hour. Massage was pretty good, and would have been more relaxing if I didn't have to continually decline a longer massage. After the massage, as I was walking out, Dave looked me square in the face and asked me for a tip. I guess it's my choice to decline but I was feeling worn down by the constant need to say no, and I gave him a $10 tip, which brought the 30 minute chair massage to a total of $50.

Amazing... LIFE = CHANGED. Danny is an absolute magic worker. Truly, finding Skin Harmonics has…read morebeen the biggest blessing, and I am forever grateful!! I was struggling with intense breakouts + trying to be proactive about anti-aging. This resulted in getting stuck in a Sephora hamster wheel, completely trapped into trying new products only to find that my acne was getting worse and "clean" anti-aging products began giving me dark spots around my eyes. I tried more and more products, diet changes, supplements, everything... hoping to find a solution. It felt completely hopeless. At start of quarantine, my skin began breaking out like never before. Cystic pimples that were painful, embarrassing, and to be hones completely consuming. I tried everything and my skin seemed to only be getting worse. I'd spent hours researching ingredients in products + skin care, and continued to be let down. When I stumbled upon Skin Harmonics on Yelp (so random), the reviews seemed promising and I figured I'd give this a shot. Obviously, nothing else was working. I called Danny and we had an initial consult. She painted a clear picture our skin operates, and promised me that my skin would clear up. To my disbelieve, she kept that promise... Magic worker! Starting the process was not glamorous with the extraction facial, but absolutely worth it. Without a doubt. I received my recommended Skin Harmonics products after my initial consult (the re-usable glass packaging is amazing btw). She then recommended: 1- Use the products morning + night. She warned me my skin would purge as I adjusted to the products for two weeks (which I was already breaking out constantly so it wasn't out of the ordinary). 2- The facial. Danny explained the extraction would be intense and that the next could days I would need to lay low and let my skin heal. She was right, it definitely was painful, but satisfying at the same time knowing that years of reoccurring clogged pores were finally having their break through. It was pretty insane, looking back on how much my face had stored through the years. Yikes! ... so yes. worth it. 3. Recovery + self care. I stayed out of the sun and avoided makeup for the few days after the facial. I used only Skin Harmonics products and let my face heal. Now..... My skin is now the absolute best it has ever looked!!! Blown away. I am never going back to the Sephora trap!! Danny's products are all that I need, literally. My breakouts are gone and the anti-aging ingredients in the products are incredible. I feel like a new woman and cannot imagine if I hadn't found Skin Harmonics. So much gratitude. Skin Harmonics is an ABSOLUTE MUST!!! Thank you for changing my life... Unreal results. Seriously, I cannot say enough good things. Danny has gone above and beyond, even has given me advice on my boyfriend's skin issues (as he's stubborn and won't deal haha). She is on your team and I 100% recommend Skin Harmonics to everyone. The best investment you could make for your physical self. ... This is NOT an ad. I am truly blown away and hope everyone has the chance to work with Danny.

I had suffered from acne for years and after around 6-7 sets of her facials along with using her products religiously and eating clean as she advised, my skin completely cleared up. Now, almost 2 years later I still barely ever get a pimple. When I do on occasion, her products (they are THE BEST) clear it up within a couple days. I still have some marks and scars from old breakouts but have seen improvements in those as well. I wish more than anything that I could have found Danny earlier to save myself years of hating my skin and using products/undergoing expensive treatments that just made my skin worse. Honestly, while her facials are painful at times and not cheap (especially for a college student) they are extremely worth it & in the long run you save so much money avoiding lasers/dermabrasion from the dermatologist. Also she is super sweet and knows pretty much everything about skin and health, she has the best tips about everything holistic & health related. Don't hesitate to reach out to her if you are serious about having clear skin!! Sorry if I sounded like a Proactive commercial but I could literally rave about her all day haha (:
