Dr. Mancuso was referred to me by my son's pediatrician. My son is 13. He was battling chronic sinus headaches, so bad he couldn't focus at school or get out of bed. We had to wait a few weeks to actually be seen by Dr. Mancuso. We had a CT which showed ethmoid sinus disease. When he came into the room too see us, the first words out of his mouth were "I don't think I am going to be able to help you." Really? Then he examined my son with a tiny scope through the nose and told us there was nothing wrong with him, no congestion, no deviated septum, etc. He referred us to a neurologist and told me to get my son a psychologist. Luckily I did not listen to Dr. Mancuso, and listened to my son instead. We got a second opinion at a different ENT office and my son had surgery to fix the blockage in his ethmoid sinus and does not battle the chronic headaches he was having. Glad his problem got resolved, sadly not by Dr. Mancuso. read more

Several years ago another surgeon did a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy on my son. The adenoid grew back within the year and the second specialist , Dr. Mancuso, was then consulted said that too much tissue had been left behind at the original surgery. He then advised us to take a wait and see approach as our son was approaching puberty and this naturally shrinks after that. He was correct. I had no issue with his manner and found him to be professional. He did not subject my son to unnecessary procedures or stress. read more

Everything went very well and we were confident having our son in his care. Yes, it takes a while to get an initial appointment but that's the case with any good specialist doctor! I will start by saying that if I could give 0 stars I would!!! We were referred to Dr. Mancuso through our pediatrician and were told by many that he is one of the best ENT's in the valley!! He removed my sons tonsils and we had a terrible experience!! He has HORRIBLE bedside manner!! I was in tears as was my son!! I cannot tell you enough about what a jerk he was!! Horrible, horrible experience!!! My son was 4 months old and we were going to take him to this office for recurring ear infections. I confirmed with the receptionist the day before where their office was located. I went to the appointment and was apparently in the wrong building so I called to get exact directions. She told me they were a couple of buildings "down" (extremely vague.. What does that mean??!!" And then said we needed to reschedule because we were already 2 minutes late. I explained that I was lost and would be there in just a few minutes She put me in hold and came back and said "dr Mancuso will not see you. We need to reschedule." I could not believe it! It was our very first appointment and we were literally going to be about 10 min total late to our check in time... Not even the actual appointment! I was very upset and kept asking, please can you see him. He is just a little baby! And each response was "no, dr Mancuso is REFUSING to see him." I put a call into my pediatrician because I was so furious (not at them but wanted them to know). I decided to still go in and fill out the paperwork so we could be ahead of her game in case I and the pediatrician still wanted us to go there. I went in and asked for the paperwork and told the girl at the desk (not sure if it was her I spoke to on the phone) that we weren't allowed to be seen and I had taken the day off for this and had already waited 2 weeks to be seen and now had to reschedule (and the rescheduled appointment was still going to be another 2 weeks!!) and she said "dr Mancuso is the one who said he won't see him today." Yea thanks, got it. So I asked for the paperwork, she ROLLED HER EYES AT ME and gave me the clipboard and then slammed the glass window shut. I sat down to fill it out and everything was already filled out for me so it would have taken me little to no time to sign a few things. And everything was misspelled!!!! At that point I was so upset I got up and handed it back to her and said we wouldn't be back. I will not trust a dr who refuses to see my 4 month old baby before even meeting us. I can see if we had been late a lot of times but it was our very first appointment! I used to run the front office for a dentist and we only rescheduled people if they were 20-30 minutes late. Never first time patients who are only a few minutes late. I was appalled and have also never been treated so rudely and with such disrespect. I took my son to dr McKenna whom we love!!! I had to schedule an appointment over 7 weeks out for my son to be seen.. After much anticipation my children and I arrived and filled out the lengthy forms that were not children friendly, questions like glaucoma etc... it was odd. My daughter was sitting at a wood shaped safari table and slipped off in the waiting room, when she landed she hit one the sharp edges of the wood table (that was supposed to be for kids), she got a huge cut on her ear that was bleeding everywhere and she has had brusies on her ear for over a week. I informed the office manager immediately and the first question she asked was "Did any bood get on the chair?" and " Were you watching her?" I was mortified that their precious furniture was more important to them than a human being. We left immediately and got medical attention for my daughter. They should remove the table and chairs immediately! Very rude wait staff! read more
