Have always had great service and food at this place but always pickup myself so not sure about the negative reviews about delivery. $5.99 14", 1 topping pizza, what! Pizza is good too. College town deals at its finest. I work this area quite a bit and usually stay in a hotel while here so this is a go-to during my stay. Grinders are crazy good and their wings are excellent (baked and very tender and juicy). That is all! read more

The owners are very rude people The Chase you down for a dollar cause they don't want to change. I would never eat here again if you paid me or if I was starving to death, I would keep traveling on the food was dry and they want extra money for extra sauce. read more

Change management Definitely DO NOT ORDER for a big event I ordered for our daughter's graduation party from college 10 pizzas and 2 cheese sticks and 2 pizza sauces when my son picked up the order we received 10 pizzas and 2 sauces well I called and asked for management or ower I was told management was not there call back in 15 minutes so I wait about 20/ 30 min call a 2nd time someone answered and I asked again for management or ower and was told they were not available so I asked who I was speaking with the kid was rude and refused to give me his name he insisted on getting mine so I gave my name and was told the same thing there not available so I say ok then wait another 15/20 minutes then call back but this time I just stayed with the party and management finally answered I tried explaining what was wrong and she was not corporative would not let me get a word in so my sister in law tried helping me out because she works on the phone all day and again she wouldn't let her get a word in then everyone else tries helping me no results but they said I didn't pay for the cheese sticks ( but why would they give me the sauce if I didn't pay for the cheese sticks) what make this situation bad is the cheese sticks were for me ( who paid for the order and my sister in law who has difacalty with some foods (so we could even eat ) then we ordered the BLT pizzas there was literally 2 inches of mayo on the pizza it was gross then the pepperoni pizza had very little pepperoni on it So I was very upset so I take My neighbor in with me In person knowing I was upset I needed someone to help keep me calm THIS MANAGER Looked at my neighbor who is 80 years old with the most disrespectful attitude and said YOU DIDN'T make THE order and YOU DIDN'T PAY for it SO I AM NOT TALKING TOO YOU so I'm crying because of the treatment of my neighbor and friend and I told her that she was there to help me out The MANAGER said this is not a COURT OF LAW excuse me Then I'm requesting my money back and I was told I WAS NOT. Getting ANYTHING back we ate the pizzas which these pictures show whole complete pizzas that was returned what tops the whole thing off to never going back again is I paid with my debit card Early so my son just had to pick it up with no issues well NEVER DO THAT my order tolal came to a $ 151.00 even and I asked if they were charging me the extra 20.00 he ( the managers husband is the one who took the order and payment ) said no don't worry about it so on Monday I checked my account and they had charged me way More than that so I finally got a call from the OWNER he was kinda okay he was aplogic to the situation but when I was telling him what she was saying he said she would never say those things BUT my neighbor and my sister in law and everyone in the party were all witnesses to the situation well the owner said I was over charged for the pizzas in the first place so he was going to fix that well then I was soposed to get the extra money that they took out of my Bank ( money that was no soposed to take) which I didn't sign for which my bank said is illegal to do so I got 31.oo and a certificate giving me 2 Free specialty pizzas we I redeemed them on Tuesday and Guess WHAT THEY TRIED CHARGING ME AGAIN I'm sorry I have my own business and I would never EVER treat a customer this badly THERE WAS A PARTY OF 30 Guess what 30 people giving bad advice this isn't on us it's all on you and your horabale management you will be loosing a lot of customers due to this read more

Found hair in my food, the resturant refused to give me a refund, & the staff was incredibly rude about it. We definitely won't ever be going back. Terrible customer service. read more

the employees just sit in the back and talk and try and use utensils they drop on the floor

Ordered a grinder and greek salad. The lettuce in the salad was a lot of rind and the white lettuce. The lettuce was literally BROWN!!! Very upsetting and for $12.49 you would think it would be more quality than this!!!! Very upsetting! read more

Today was my first time at this Mancinos I will not return and wouldn't recommend there was 2 guys working not sure who was employee or who was manager but I noticed that the grinder sandwiches were being cut my a machine and no gloves were being worn when they were being put on the machine he may have washed his hands before but it's hard to tell it's making me question other places as well maybe it's not a requirement to wear gloves when handling a customers sandwich but it should be. It was me and like 3 other people. I understand each one is independently owned but I would rather visit somewhere else than here. read more

Good food, fast . Many kinds of grinders among other choices . The make a good burrito , nachos are enough for two people. read more

Our party of 9 came for pizza during lunch. We ordered 3 pies and it was the perfect amount for us. The pizza was out quick and was delicious. Everyone agreed it was some of the best pizza crust we have ever had! We would be back all the time if we lived nearby (we were visiting from GA) read more

We're from Mt pleasant and our Mancini ( as well as Clare's and Petoskey's) is WAY better!! Everything looked dirty. Chairs, silverware, counters... We ordered 2 grinders and waited a half hour. We finally approached the counter to find they had been sitting there waiting but no one told us .. The guy that had taken our order and checked us out asked if we'd already paid. ‍ He was the one that took out money! My husband's BBQ chicken had way more mushrooms than anything else. All of the BBQ sauce was in one area. My BLT had a small layer of mayo on one side along with probably 5 strips of bacon, two tomatoes and mounds of lettuce. Very disappointing with both the order and food. I'm surprised people still come here! read more

Friendly staff! Great food! Will be returning! Chicken wings are the best in town!! Must try the grinders and garlic knots!!

Service was very unprofessional and the kitchen was not clean. The pizza was not very edible, wings tasted like Tyson frozen wings, and the pizza sauce was bland. Maybe we will go again in a few months to see if it changed. read more

service was slow. they gave me the wrong order and refused to admit it was their mistake and make it right. Will never eat here again read more

Good food, my main complaint is I ALWAYS get a busy signal when I call. So frustrating.

Wow...I found this chain of pizza and grinders in St. Johns, Michigan and was overwhelmed with the Grinder I purchased...when it came to Big Rapids, Michigan I was ecstatic...I love the Steak Grinder so much I didn't try much else when I lived there...18 inches of toasted...thinly sliced Ribeye steak...sauteed with onions...covered with mushrooms...green peppers...mozzarella cheese...lettuce...tomatoes and Mayo. I like their sea food salad and enjoy also their seafood pizza...wish they would use fresh mushrooms though read more

Mancinos Pizzas and Grinders - a meat and cheese sandwich - Pizza Near Me - Big Rapids, Michigan

I ordered pizza this evening and was looking forward to a favorite: Mancino's. I ordered half-cheese and half-mushroom, thinking they'd split it half-and-half. Well, either the cutting or the math needs work here, because 6/8 slices had a significant amount of mushrooms on it. Please try harder next time. read more

Do NOT order from Big Rapids mancinos!!! This is ridiculous! I paid $5 for a pound of fries & got a handful of soggy cold fries I called thinking maybe they made a mistake & gave me the smaller amount that's $2 but she just wanted to argue & say she weighed it out herself & it's a pound but if I want them to remake it then I have to drive up there. Horrible customer service & rylie (she said she was the manager) refused to give me her supervisor's number & hung up on both me & my cousin when we called. I will NEVER waste my money there again & I would like to warn everyone to please don't fall for this over priced inedible food! Those people should be ashamed of themselves honestly. read more

I've already left a five star review at a different Mancino's and this location is no different. The superior bread makes these grinders absolutely incredible - something simple like a pizza grinder or my favorite being the steak grinder, honestly steer away from pizzas and just stick to the sandwiches and I don't think you'll have any complaints. read more

If you want to get screwed out of food...and then lied to... this is the place for you. We ordered a bucket of 40 wings for a dinner party. We ended up only getting 30 in the bucket. We called back to complain and the shift leader said (since we really couldn't run back out in the middle of the party) that they would Goofpon us a free bucket next time we went in. When we called today, the OWNER. Told us "She didn't see our name" but if we ordered another bucket she would throw in 10 extra. She is a stingy ridiculous woman that just lost a long term customer and as many people we (our family as well as the people that were over that night) over an 18.00 bucket of chicken. read more

Stopped by for a grinder and couldn't help but notice the sign for a 14" 1-topping pizza. How can you beat that? Pizza came out quickly, was pretty tasty, and the staff were really friendly. read more

Let me tell you something: The $6 1-topping pizza is far superior to the Hot N Ready. However, if you're looking to hang some radio brain, you're in the wrong saloon buckaroo. Like every Thursday, I'm trying to slice the bacon with the fam, hang some brain, chew some bubblegum, so I call in an order for some of the best pie in town. When I go to pick it up, however, you'd have the Tower 7 fell again. Not even thinking, because why is it a big deal, I go to pick up the sauce dish brain hanging free, and they IMMEDIATELY freak. A paying customer, and they start FREAKING. OUT. And then, why I try to leave, they call the pig squad on me. Once they got there, I explained everything, introduced them to my friend George Washington, and they let me hang brain no issue. Thank God for the government, am I right? #BushDidNothingWrong read more

I'm in big Rapids for business quite often, and like getting pizza. I've had pizza from other Mancino's locations that were phenomenal. However, this location has yet to impress me. I've ordered from here on four separate occasions and have been disappointed each time. Delivery time is always long and the toppings on the pizza are just meh. It's really sad, because there is so much more potential available in this chain. read more

Don't order online from this place if you're staying at one of the local hotels! We ordered pizza, wings, and soda to be delivered to the Hampton Inn on Super Bowl Sunday and the confirmation said that our order would be delivered in an hour. After about 75 minutes I called to see where our order was only to be told that the driver was just leaving with it. 26 minutes later when it still hadn't arrived, my husband called back and he, too,was told the driver was just leaving. Finally about an hour after our order was promised it finally arrived... and the pizza was cold! read more

We called and ordered grinders for delivery and they told us it be a two hour away we told him that was fine, three hours later still no grinders we called they've never made or grinders never even tried still charge my card. they told me they could refund my money or deliver the grinders the next day I told him to refund the money. they told me it would be a week before It got back in my account so we tried the next day and the guy was a real jerk he said it be two hour wait we said that's why were calling so early. he got an attitude we told him that we didn't get our order yesterday so we're trying again today and he said "fine we're not delivering only pick ups". in the background we could hear another order being taken and we heard them read off the customers credit card number, expiration date and ZIP Code and when we told the guy we could hear all that he just hung up on us. never again!!! read more

I love this place and always order here for delivery for over a year now and have never had a problem.... tried to order twice now with their new online ordering and it will not take my address, i called them the first time lady told me she would tell tech and get it fixed. this month they have 50 % of any pizza online and again it wouldnt take my address so i called and the manager told me to change my order to pick up and they would still do the 50 % off, i dont feel that is right, why would i want delivery if i have to go pick it up???? SO i will never order from here again, they have made enough money from me.....Will go to Jets far better pizza there anyway, but will miss the grinders... read more

$5.00 delivery charge! Was desperate and tried to place a delivery order last night, the guy on the phone was a total idiot. Asked my wife's name and then said "What can I get you Steve" WTF. The web site says they have 12, 14, and 16" pizza sizes. She asked for a small 12" and he said "That's a medium", again, WTF. At the end he said the total was over $21, for a $15.59 pizza, she asked why and he said there was a $5 delivery charge. For a $15 pizza? We passed, their pizza is not that great to begin with. It used to be it was $2 which was bad enough. I kept giving them another chance, but never again. read more

Macinos everywhere are good, this one is kind of dirty on the inside. And this has probably the worst pizza out if any mancinos I've been to. But the grinders are great so if you go here get a grinder. read more

I was at a friend's house last night and we ordered from Mancino's. We had chicken alfredo pizza, nachos, and fries. They forgot to put the tomatoes on the nachos. When my friend called to complain, they said they would bring a new batch over, no problem. 45 min. later, they finally show up with the new nachos. The delivery guy wanted the old nachos (which were half eaten by now) back so he could bring them in. He wouldn't give us the new nachos (the ones that actually had everything they were supposed to have on them) unless we could give him back the old nachos. Unfortunately, we were hungry after our long wait and we ate them even though they weren't made correctely. So he left with his fresh nachos. So, so TACKY! I would have written a formal complaint to the Mancino's headquarters (wherever that is) if I had been the one who ordered and paid, but since I was only a witness to all of this, I thought a bad Yelp review might be more appropriate. I can't believe what poor customer service Mancino's is providing. I've worked in the restaurant industry since 1996. I would never treat a customer like this after messing up their order. I get that they're trying to prevent people from ripping them off, but what are they going to do with their old nachos anyways? And to leave with the fresh nachos that were what we had actually ordered is totally out of line. The only reason this level of service is accepted is because there are relatively few options in this town. This place doesn't deserve to be successful. It's not like the rest of the food was amazing, either. It was passable. If you want something much better, go to Schuberg's. For pizza, I haven't tried all of the places in Big Rapids yet, but there are many other options. read more

We came here on a wimb because the pictures looked good here and it ended up being pretty good. The service / staff was/were a little awkward but that's OK. We had a calzone and the wait was a little long but the calzone was really good. I like the grinders, but I grossly underestimated how long it would take to get my food. It wasn't particularly busy, but if you're thinking this is fast food, you are in for a surprise. I think the only way to do this is if you have some time on your hands or get carry out. I'd give five stars if it didn't take 15 minutes to get my grinder. Maybe I don't understand that's how long it takes. I could have had a Jet's pizza in the same amount of time. However, most places don't serve grinders this good. Huge menu, too. read more

Not sure what the why everyone raves about this place for 20 bucks I could of gotten a better pizza else where !

I have been eating at various Mancino's for over ten years now. I had been turned on to one in Bowling Green, KY back in the late 90's and after I moved back to Chicago thought I would never have another grinder. I was pleasently surprised when I found a Mancino's in the Kankakee area. I now make the special trip there to get a steak and cheese grinder a couple times a year. Between the crispy toasted bread and the thinly sliced steak covered with sauteed peppers and onions and smothered in cheese, who can resist? This is definitely a guilty pleasure! read more

I love Mancinos! The food is always awesome! Love every grinder I've ever had with the regular turkey grinder being my all time favorite. The pizza is delicious and a good option over all the other chain pizza places in BR. I seriously recommend the wet burrito, it never disappoints! The only complaint is the staff can be cranky with you on the phone. But the delivery drivers are always really nice and I make sure to tip well for their friendly demeanor! read more

Called the Big Rapids, MI location to ask about specials on a pizza. He said they had no specials but had a $7 14" one topping pizza. Asked to add an additional item and gave my delivery address. Delivery guy came to the door and handed me a receipt for over $16. Delivery guy said there was a $3 delivery charge which I understood but said that when I added the extra topping it voided the special price. Pizza was warm at best and was obvioulsy not properly handled in the car. It was all spread out over the box. Worst pizza experience ever. read more

First time in was told they had good pizza, when it arrived at my table there was enough grease on it to lube my whole truck, one bite and I couldn't spit it out fast enough it was so hot it burnt the roof of my mouth, my tongue, and raised blisters on my lips. the service was so bad I've Had better at McDonald's and thats not saying much. The cheese bread was simple toast with a bit of melted cheese on it served cold. The prices I would rather buy a 5.00 hot and ready from little Ceaser's before going there again, as far as cleanliness an employee went out to work on her car came back in and started cooking food without washing her hands. This almost made me throw up. which I did in the parking lot afterwards. I would not even give it one star if this would let me, I have never in my life seen so much grease that it dripped off the pizza and was so hot it burnt your hand if it touched it. would I recommend them? Yes to me worst enemies. then again no even they deserve better. Going further into this the sausage on the pizza tasted like it came from a frozen tube of bob even's breakfast sausage, the pizza sauce from what I tasted was spaghetti sauce with way to much oregano in it. not enough cheese to even call it a pizza. dirty floors dirty counter, bathrooms where fit for the rat that I seen in the corner. If you must have pizza or grinders go anywhere but there. someone needs to call the health department on this place!!! read more
