The service here was absolutely amazing. I came here at the end of last year as I was getting ready to move soon and wanted a great new mattress to go along with it. I came with the intent to browse and try to find what would work for me in the long run but wasn't 100% set on buying anything that night. Brian was an impressive salesman and very professional. The best part is he was friendly and personable but never pushy. He ultimately wanted me to make the decision that worked best for my situation and only provided the tools to help with that. After trying out the SleepMatch mattress I was surprised when it recommended ultra firm for my body. After that he took me around the store to some possibilities. I was not looking at price because this is something super important for our health and rejuvenation each day. We both knew when I found the one as he commented how comfortable I looked with my back straight as well. I scheduled delivery to my new place and was out the door pretty quickly. The mattress I purchased has been incredible in every way it could be. I no longer wake up with any pain in my back or a feeling of restlessness. The second I lay down I am falling asleep within a few minutes max. Earlier this month, I just so happened to stop into Mancini's in Pittsburg to take a look at some mattresses as I had purchased a bed the prior year from the Brentwood location for my son. My husband and I came here to buy a new mattress. We currently have an original purple mattress and it started to hurt both our backs. We both sleep different ( I'm a side sleeper) and my husband on his belly and back. We came to the store just to browse and we actually found an amazing selection. We went with the Aireloom collection which is a California native brand. The store manager Mike Long took his time and answered all our questions. We didn't feel pressured at all and he allowed us to browse for as long as we wanted and let us test everything. He ended up giving us an amazing price with some amazing perks. Horrible customer service! At first purchasing my bed frame, mattress and dresser, was a great a experience and hospitality, no problems or ATTITUDE from the manager(s) or employees at all. However, I get everything installed, it works great for some months until the furniture starts seeming a little wonky so I check under the mattress and dresser to find out installers did not install my bed frame nor dresser properly, causing 2 of the dresser legs to break the dresser which I never touched or moved since it was installed and because of missing screws and pieces to the bedframe, the support beam is cracked underneath. I've been calling this shop since the beginning of this year, before my warranty was up and they have been giving the run around for 9 months now, saying the will call back and never do, going through change of managers every time I call to revisit the issue and get it resolved or I'd catch attitude and disrespect from one of the prior manager. One of the newest managers told me to reach out to corporate, I do and leave a message and never receive a call back, precious manager would lie and tell me he never received the emails picture I forwarded to him several times then fuss and say why did I send it so many times on so many dates after he told me he never got it. Now it's September and the issue it STILL NOT RESOLVED. There's so much more to this case but bottom line is I've been in contact on and off again for the past 8 months with this and all they tell me is "we have a new manager" after so many problems and disrespect from the prior manager. They are slow to get my case resolved!! read more

When in there 2/14/12 at 11am expecting to go home with a mattress nope they don't have them their was about to walk out when she said free delivery I told her I needed it in the am she said no problem she would note it and they will call to confirm... Purchased a new mattress earlier this week and was very pleased with the experience. Ron assisted me and was both friendly and professional. I was able to chose the day for delivery. I received a call the evening before and was given a 2 hr. opening. On delivery date, I received a call advising that the truck was on it's way and sure enough it pulled up right on time. I have back problems and plantars fasciitis. He was very helpful and took the time to explain the differences and benefits of the beds I was interested in. He also talked me into the power base which I wasn't going to get but had I not included it in my purchase I'd seriously regret it. The bed arrived the same day I purchased it. I barely had enough time to go home and get my bedroom ready. I purchased a mattress 2 1/2 yrs ago. Mancini's replaced it once already. The problem is when you sit or lay on it does not go back to original shape. I have called talked to the mgr Ron. His response is what do you want me to do? Talked to Mike (employee) tried to explain to him the problem & hung up on me. I'm tired of waking up every morning with a back ache and poor sleep. I went to another place purchased a mattress and will be delivering it. I would never ever in my life purchase anything from Mancini's. This review is long overdue. I should've done this over a month ago, but I've been too consumed with my new bed. LOL. In my search for a new bed, frame and pillows. I frequented this specific location more than once. I've also checked out other locations as well, but the service in Pittsburg far outweighs the others in Brentwood and Concord. Both Mike and Ron assisted me in my search, and I very much appreciated the patience (especially after having been in the store for hours) and knowledge from both but, I interacted much more with Mike. I originally purchased the Tempurpedic Contour Elite, after having tried out many beds of all brands, I fell in love with Temperpedic, and was insistent on a firm mattress (since that's what I thought i needed). Mike help me with the transaction, including the adjustable base, and helped me save ~$700. After about a month of discomfort (body aches, constant movement at night), I went back to Mancinis to see about exchanging my mattress for a softer one, which is what Mike had suggested to begin with based on my sleep patterns. I immediately felt relief with the Cloud Supreme Breeze AND the Cloud Elite extra soft. I decided to go for the Supreme Breeze since it was both soft, with cooling technology, and I'm so happy I did. If I had it in my budget, I would've purchased both. Mike also assisted me with a tempur pillow, which is also nice, and gave me a nice discount on it as well. Now, I sleep so much better at night!! Delivery Services: The Delivery team was very responsive, efficient and kind. They were available to deliver asap. They set up my mattress, and bases so quickly, and were done in less than 30min. I honestly couldn't be more happier with the service I received, and the followup from Mike on my purchase. Update - the owner contacted me and made it right and was very apologetic so this is my 4th time in this store 3 other times I have bought bedroom sets and mattresses spent over $2K each time however this time all I wanted to buy was a bean bag. I wanted a different color he says if it's not out there we don't have it. Could he have looked online and found it? No he waits until I go to pay and says we can order more and get it here by Monday. Then I go to pay with my Mancini synchrony card and he says "oh we are paying with synchrony, I have to look it up it will be a while" not sure what the big deal was so I paid with my debit card. Maybe it had an impact on his commission who knows. I will just say the experience was not pleasant. I will let synchrony know that I will never use this card. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because of my prior experience and the delivery people read more

Stopped in Friday after work to purchase a bed. The salesman Michael, nice enough guy - assisted me in selecting the one I wanted. Got the details hammered out - and within less than half an hour because I already knew what I wanted - and I got a call that evening from a woman telling me my time of delivery would be the next day between 4-6pm. I asked if I could please have an earlier time as my job requires me to be up during the week at 2am and that was pretty late for me. She said no. OK, I can live with 6pm for one night. 6pm came and went. At 8:18pm I got a call telling me I was next. It was unreasonable, so I asked if I could have a morning delivery or at least early afternoon the next day. No I could not. So, no. I opted with another company. I am aware these delivery folks have to get their deliveries scheduled in a certain way to deliver the most product in the most effective way, but if they cannot take ME, the person spending the money to purchase the product into consideration on at least ONE of the days in question - well, forget it. She wouldn't bend an inch, I was to arrange my schedule to accomodate HER - and I think she could have at least tried, Salespeople are nice here, but the deliveries - unless you are up and ready to accept a delivery at their convenience - forget it. read more

"Even if you have to drive from 3 cities away like I did", I promise, you won't be sorry! I had an an issue with my first mattress. (more of an issue with trial on my part, thinking that I wanted a firm mattress for support with a plush pillow top.) Turns out I really prefer a soft mattress. This is really hard to tell in the store, because their mattresses are well broken in from customers trying them out all day. In the store, the firm plush pillow top seemed soft enough for me. Different story though when I was trying to sleep on it, too firm. A friend told me to see Ron Paris at the Antioch store, and I am glad I did! he answered all my questions about the difference in mattresses. His customer service was outstanding as well as being very pleasant to deal with, which is why I am compelled to recommend him on Yelp! Needless to say, he helped me resolve my issue...
