We've been renting…read morethrough VPM for about a year and couldn't be happier with the professionalism, communication, and care of their entire team. As a tenant, it's refreshing to work with a management company that really cares about all parties involved and makes sure that everyone has a positive rental experience. We appreciate the care and attention to detail that Lauren and her team put into every step of the process. When we were looking for a new home, Elizabeth was extremely helpful with guiding us through the application process and helped us find the perfect new home. Stephanie has been amazing with keeping us up to date with anything requests from the owners. Danielle was easy to work with through the renewal inspection process and was helpful in answering any questions we had about the property. And Lauren's professionalism throughout has made this one of the most seamless rental processes I've experienced. We also really appreciate the fact that VPM lists quality homes at a reasonable rental rate which is so hard to come by in this area. Their portfolio speaks for itself! In a market that is saturated with overpriced rentals at exorbitant rates, it's a relief to work with a company that is authentic, transparent, and helpful to all parties involved. Thank you!

Village Property Management has done an outstanding job managing our long-term rental in Fallbrook…read morefor the past 7 years. They have done a wonderful job finding tenants. The tenants they've found for us have been very financially responsible, have taken good care of our property, and have stayed a long time. Lauren, Amber, Danielle, and their team, have always gone above and beyond helping us find local resources for necessary maintenance, repairs and service (like pool service). I am especially appreciative of how well they communicate and act as liaison between us and the tenants. They truly go above and beyond the call of duty.

Being a new customer and the first time renting our my home I researched different rental property…read morecompanies. After doing my research we decided to go with Good Life and I am so glad we did they made the process very easy. Malissa Martinez was my onboarding point of contact and I have to say she was very attentive, responsive and professional. She answered all my questions and kept me informed the next steps in the process. Emails came in daily with the updates that had been completed at my home in order to be put on the market. After that my property managment team consisted of Andrei Lechert- Kelly, Gerald Medalla and CJ Flores. Again, more professionalism with this team. Once the property was ready and we agreed on the rental price my home was listed on a Wednesday and by that weekend, Saturday, we have the home rented. It's been 5 months and I have no complaints. They have really taken care of everything and I haven't had to worry about a thing since. Highly recommend Good Life. 10 outta 10.

UPDATE 9/22: Unfortunately, the pattern described in my original review has continued…read more The washer identified as needing repair before my lease began was never successfully repaired despite four service appointments. After nearly two months without a usable washer, I ultimately replaced it myself rather than continue waiting. Good Life provided a $500 credit for the prolonged loss of use and my time dealing with the issue. The refrigerator remained unable to properly cool for two weeks, despite two unsuccessful repair appointments. After continued delays, I escalated the issue to Good Life's CEO and ultimately found a technician myself who was willing to come out over the weekend. A part was replaced and the refrigerator eventually began cooling. I was told compensation for the two weeks without functioning refrigeration would be discussed after the repair, but I have not received that compensation. On September 11, I reported that the A/C was not cooling. Later that day, water began coming through a ceiling vent onto the upstairs bathroom floor. I contacted the emergency maintenance line regarding the active leak and received no response. I cleaned up the water and placed a pan beneath the vent to contain the continuing leak. An HVAC technician came the following morning and found a frozen coil and failed safety switch. I was told further work required management approval. As of September 22, the A/C/water-leak repair has still not been completed. What has been most frustrating is not that things have broken. It is the repeated delays, unsuccessful service appointments, lack of follow-through, and the amount of responsibility I have had to assume myself to get significant maintenance problems addressed. My concerns also extend to a property owner's perspective. An active water leak has the potential to cause additional property damage, yet my emergency maintenance report received no response and the repair remains incomplete. I would expect a property management company to respond promptly to significant maintenance issues, coordinate the appropriate professionals, and follow through until repairs are actually completed. Unfortunately, my experience over the first three months of this tenancy has shown a recurring pattern of significant maintenance issues requiring repeated follow-up and escalation before reaching resolution--if they reach resolution at all.

My wife and I recently decided to relocate to the Fallbrook area, and made contact with Coldwell…read moreBanker Village Properties due to its owner's reputation in the realtor field. We were impressed the moment we walked through their front door! Not only does the business' interior give a professional appearance, but we were welcomed immediately by their front counter receptionist, who demonstrated a professional, yet friendly, demeanor. We then met with Chris Hasvold (owner) and some of his staff, who listened closely to us, as to what we were looking for in a property. Based upon this initial meeting, we felt comfortable with CBVP, and we knew that we made the right selection in realtors, who would find us our dream house, and that is exactly what they did! They spent time with us, listened to our likes and dislikes, and answered all of our our many questions. They then took us to a variety of properties that fit our personal criteria, and after just two visits to their office and touring homes, they found us our dream house. They then walked us through the process of making an offer, and continued working tirelessly to close the deal. Through his professional networking, Chris found us a listing agent for our current home in Los Angeles County, which we needed to sell as a contingency to buying the home in Fallbrook. Chris worked hand-in-hand with that realtor, looking out for our best interests, rather than just securing the deal. Through his hard work, knowledge, and diligence, our previous home sold quickly, and owning our new dream home became a reality with very little stress. I can not thank Coldwell Banker Village Properties, Chris Hasvold, and his many staff members enough for making our dream come true!! They truly earned our trust and confidence, and we HIGHLY recommend them to those that are buying or selling in the Fallbrook area!
