I am very disappointed in Josh Hudson's online marriage mastery program and would highly recommend…read moreagainst it. He makes many promises but at the end of the day, it's just hours of him talking into his camera giving his thoughts and opinions. If you are in a desperate situation like I was, I completely understand why you would rush to purchase a program like this. But the fact of the matter is his program takes advantage of the urgency you feel to win your wife back and his entire program is designed to use this urgency to convince yourself to pull the trigger on the large purchase, which is highly manipulative. He seems like a nice guy, but he obviously has some training in how people think, and he certainly uses that to his advantage in convincing you to buy his program. I met with his "counselor" which is really just a saleswoman who was trained to cater to your emotions and pump you full of inspiration that you can win your wife back now, making it feel obvious to make the large purchase. They even ask questions that make you very emotional, making you even more likely to want to make the purchase. Then they put you on the spot to make the purchase right then. Then after you purchase the product and realize it's just a bunch of videos, you realize you were just swindled for your money. Don't buy his product!

I do not appreciate all of these "life coaches" who have a camera and microphone, which apparently…read moremakes them an "expert" in telling people how to live. Also, being an opportunist off of the suffering of others is, in my opinion, disgusting. I feel sorry for anyone who has fallen prey to this ridiculous program. I honestly do not know if Josh Hudson actually exists or is just a paid figure-head. Whoever he is, HE IS NOT MARRIED!! How can an unmarried man advise married men on how to save their marriages? Many of his stories are juvenile and fall in the same vein as therapists, even though he claims that his program is better than counseling. I will NEVER recommend that anyone fall for this ridiculous program.

They were polite, but the sessions felt very scripted and a bit robotic, which made it hard to connect. After that, I was reassigned to a therapist named Rita. I really wanted to give it a fair shot, but I often left sessions feeling like I wasn't fully heard or understood. At times, the tone felt a bit judgmental, even if that may not have been the intention, and it made it hard to feel comfortable opening up. Eventually, I was told that my symptoms had improved and that I might not need to continue therapy. When I shared that I still felt like I needed support, the response came across as somewhat dismissive rather than collaborative. After a while of feeling misunderstood, I ended up canceling a few sessions and eventually stopped going. About nine months later, I decided to try again and requested a new therapist since Rita was no longer there. I came in feeling hopeful, but the experience quickly took a turn. I was matched with Gabriella, and early in the session she focused heavily on my past cancellations, even though I explained they were due to not feeling heard before. She also mentioned concerns about me potentially being "dependent" on therapy because I've been in therapy for several years, which didn't feel fair or accurate to me. I tried to express that I wasn't feeling a good connection and that the approach felt more like an interrogation than a supportive conversation. Instead of things improving, I felt more uncomfortable, to the point where I became emotional and asked to end the session early. I've been to different therapists and mental health facilities before, so I understand that not every match will be perfect. But this experience stood out in a negative way. It didn't feel like a safe or welcoming space to be vulnerable, and that's really the most important part of therapy.
