I learned to speak up. I gave pointed responses of why it wouldn't work. They paird me with another coach Emma Miller. Now 1+ years in, doing coaching every 7-10 days, Emma is the best collaborator you would hope for on your team. She keep me accountable. The Tony program is drinking out of a water hose. You have to be very intentional about how you use it. Emma helps me apply it each and every day. I'm growing and learning every day. I'm getting better and better. I'm having and continue to have a remarkable transformation. It's definitely not a quick fix or snap fix, no matter how they try to market you. It's a lot of work. But it's a system that works. There are also so many other systems out there. I've continue to augment my Tony training with so many more books, podcasts, research, work on my own. I purchased the program, and it was a very disappointing experience. My initial interaction with…read morethe sales representative, Scott out of Boca Raton FL, was particularly frustrating and disappointing. I specifically requested a coach who could relate to someone older in the workforce facing replacement by younger professionals. I did eventually receive another coach who was very kind, but overall, the program did not meet my expectations. I decided to not continue with the coaching sessions and requested a refund for the sessions I did not use. However, Scott charged me an extra thousand dollars for quitting the program. Do not sign up for this coaching. And if you speak to Scott, ask to speak to someone else.

I loved showing up to class because, more often than not, I was working through some real-life challenges, and the tools we practiced helped me navigate them in real time. The program didn't just teach me how to coach--it brought a whole new awareness to how I listen, how I approach conversations, and how I show up for myself and others. It made me realize that I had been stuck in 'fixer' mode--always trying to manage things, always trying to solve problems--but in a way that was draining me, leaving me with less capacity to be fully present. I remember a specific moment when I was going through something tough, and I had to coach myself using the very skills I was learning. That's when it hit me--this wasn't just about getting a certification or building skills to help others. This was about shifting how I live, how I listen to myself, and how I manage that fixer within me. It was about recognizing that I deserve the same care and attention that I give to others. That personal transformation has stayed with me long after the program ended. Now, having gotten over that hump and starting my coaching and consulting practices, I'm actively using these skills, and they've helped me tremendously. Whether it's in the workshops I've held, coaching my clients, or leading my team, these tools have been invaluable. It's been an amazing, incredible experience, and I'm forever grateful for it. I'll always appreciate not only the tools and resources that set me up for success as a coach but also the deep personal growth I experienced. And I can't forget the community--the staff and fellow students were so supportive, so loving. They created a space where I could be myself, and I'm truly thankful for that. Simply put it was such a dope experience.
