The staff at this location were nice and accommodating. FOOD: We ordered a large variety of dishes. Their Mac and cheese is rich and creamy though a little bland, their ribs were okay, not too much meat on the bone and the sauce was a little to sweet for my liking but not a horrible rib. Another person from my party ordered the fish filet which was drenched in a vegetable and cream sauce, in my opinion the presentation was not very appetizing. The seafood paella was ok, the seasoning was pretty good however the shrimp were overcooked to the point that they had a rubbery consistency. The beef steak was covered in a gravy and looked rather appetizing. I wanted to give their nachos a try however they were all out by the time I ordered so I ordered their cheesy fries which were actually pretty good. The only complaint I have is the amount of time it took for some of my party to recieve their meal, some of us received our meal within 10 minutes of ordering and others didn't recieve theirs for another hour! I understand that we had a large party however that's way too much of a gap in time as most of the people in my party were done with their meal while others still have not received theirs, if their time management would have been a little better then this experience would have been superb. Would I come back? I may come back to try their grilled chicken as they appeared to be very juicy and the golden unfortunately they were all out by the time I ordered.

My sister in law invited us for dinner because she told us this place was good and had great food. But, our experience was completely different. Many items on the menu were unavailable that time. All types of pizza were unavailable, the seafood paella, seafood platter, Maria and Miguel meat platter, and even the mashed potatoes that came with the roast beef were all unavailable!! Anyway, we ordered the nachos, and they were not crunchy at all. At first, we thought it was because of the sauce, but it honestly tasted like the chips were old. 5/10. Since the seafood paella wasn't available, we ordered the carne paella instead. Unfortunately, it wasn't good either. They topped it with pork skin and fat. I initially thought it was chicharon, but it was a little chewy and greasy. We also ordered the quesadilla, and it was SUPER sweet! It tasted more like a dessert than a savory dish. I think they used the same nacho/BBQ sauce, which made the whole thing overly sweet. And the service was terrible. They didn't serve our food together. Instead, each dish came out one at a time, with around 15-20 minutes between dishes. We were basically waiting around while everyone else was eating. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

After a road trip to Antipolo, we decided to swing by Crazy Chicken for a quick dinner. We ordered the Loaded Fries and the 16-piece chicken wings meal in four flavors: Original Buffalo Cheesy Cheese Lemon Pepper Asian Sriracha The Original Buffalo wings were an easy favorite, despite not having blue cheese dip with it. The level of heat in this variant is just a smidge over mild, which is perfect for the warm weather we've been having lately. The Cheesy Cheese wings were generously dredged with cheese powder, and delivered that salty umami kick that I was craving for. It may look simple and basic, but looks can be deceiving. The Lemon Pepper wings were a bit timid in terms of flavor, so this would be a good choice for the least adventurous member of your party. Serious foodies might take a pass on this variant. The Asian Sriracha wings were as hot as the weather, which tasted more like hot sauce instead of sriracha. Too spicy hot for me. The Loaded Fries are a great complement to the chicken wings, and Crazy Chicken was very generous with the bacon.

Currently, my favorite flavor is the original Buffalo, followed closely by the cheesy cheese and garlic parmesan! Their houseblend iced tea is also good, probably the best along Lilac!

I got a bowl of laksa noodle soup for Php 145, with two toppings included. You can Php 35 for an additional topping. You have around thirty toppings to choose from, and anything goes. I chose smoked chicken and, for some reason, a mozzarella ball for my topping. The noodles itself are good: flavorful and just the right amount of softness. It doesn't rely on the broth as it already has a flavor of its own, which for me is a good thing. Now, I'm not sure what I had in mind when I chose the mozzarella ball to go with my laksa noodle soup and i was dreading the outcome. It wasn't so bad after all, but I think it'd taste better with the plain noodle soup. I brought my friends along on my second visit and experimented with plain noodle soup, mozzarella ball (I really don't know what's with me and cheese), a fried cheeseball and smoked chicken. They all turned out great! Better than expected, actually.

The moment I entered the place, I immediately saw the buffet table for the different types of noodles and toppings. There were five noodles to choose from: ramen, spinach noodles, Hong Kong egg noodles, thick flour noodles, and flat flour noodles. I chose the last one. From the toppings, I picked three types of mushrooms: enoki, pearl and chicken mushroom. Done picking the ingredients, I gave my plastic tray to the lady at the counter. Finally, I chose my soup: laksa (with coconut). My order - laksa noodle soup with three toppings - amounted to PhP175, she said. Then, I sat on my table and waited for them to cook my bowl of laksa. The waiting time for the food was short and my order arrived still slightly boiling. The serving size was big enough for its price. I liked how the mushrooms were not overly cooked and carried a sweet earthy taste. The noodles were not too soft and soggy and the laksa soup was a mix of sweet (because of the coconut milk) and spicy (because of the chili). Altogether, the ingredients resulted into a beautiful medley in my mouth. I finished the meal and went home satisfied. Surely, I would go back to Mogu Tree. Even now, I couldn't wait to try the other noodles and toppings!

Every dish that Mandi's Grill Grub offers is grilled to perfection, be it pork, beef, chicken, and…read moreeven fish. For our appetizer, we tried the Sisig Surprise - a pleasant surprise! Each small serving is visually appealing already because of the very creamy mashed potatoes that envelope a wonderful surprise: LEAN and grilled sisig! Lean, as in it has no fat, so that's less guilt! The milky smoothness of the mashed potatoes complements the meaty goodness of the sisig. This appetizer is so good, it could very well be a main dish! If you want more meat, then go for their version of the American rib, which is a meaty slab that is at least half a foot long! It's almost like liempo, but much softer, making it a lot easier to slice and enjoy! No need for a knife! Each serving also comes with MGG's fried rice, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes. MGG is also not afraid to experiment, so they came up with a grilled version of the Filipino classic, pork adobo! I thought the pork slices were going to be dry, but no!!! The vinegar-soy sauce marinade very much permeated the meat, making it a highly flavorful dish! There is a separate container for the adobo sauce, but there's a good chance you won't need it for the meat anymore (mix it in your rice instead!). Moreover, the adobo meat is topped with freshly ground garlic (peelings and all) and chives, while the plain rice is topped with a sunny side up egg. Sarap! Another Filipino classic that MGG offers is tapsilog, with of course, grilled beef tapa. Like the adobo, the flavor of the beef is not compromised as it already has a vinegar-y taste that's perfect for tapa! Each beef piece strictly follows a precise measurement, allowing diners to easily eat the thinly sliced meat. This dish comes with scrambled egg, MGG's salsa, and fried rice. We also tried two blue marlin dishes: the pinaputok na blue marlin belly and grilled blue marlin. The former is wrapped in aluminum foil and upon popping it, you'll be greeted by a very delicious smell! It has a very generous amount of MGG's secret sauce, which can be a substitute for soup. I enjoyed eating the pinaputok even without rice, but for me, the real star is the grilled blue marlin. It's simply good. Nothing fancy about it, just a buttery glaze, crushed garlic, and chives. It's thick, huge, and good for sharing, but I know that I could eat an order all by myself haha! It's so delectable that I forgot to take a picture of it (even the pinaputok)! My stomach is growling as I type this - I want to go back to Mandi's ASAP! Oh, and it comes with chili-garlic sauce and calamansi for a spicier and tangier gastronomic experience! But my ultimate favorite at Mandi's is their CRISPY BABY BACK RIBS. They were a surprise to me because I never expected ribs to be coated in anything; di ba usually as is lang sila when cooked? Galing! The ribs are topped with bell peppers, nuts, and very rich, cheesy, and creamy Bechamel sauce (made from scratch!). Ugh, ang sarap - napakamay ako to make simot the ribs! :D On weekends, they have special dishes like ulang (huge frehswater shrimp), shrimp inasal, porkchops, etc. They have also been experimenting on some desserts and other savory treats, so diners can try something new from time to time! Mandi's Grill Grub is located at the ground floor of #73 Bent II (same building as Nail Cottage, Cupcake Bites, and Breakfast Brothers), Lilac St. SSS Village, Concepcion Dos, Marikina. It's a cozy place with American accent pieces like superhero tin signs, old school Kellogs tin cans, and vintage soda signage.

Sisig Surprise - I have been to one too many hotel lobby cafés that offer versions of the humble shepherd pie that have been pretty disappointing. I must admit that I did not think too highly of Mandi's best-selling appetizer when it was first served. But, oh man, the mash and the mince in this tiny ramekin are packed with flavor. It reminded me of Lola Ote's sizzling sisig in that it is served already well-seasoned. Crispy Baby Back Ribs - Tender baby back ribs topped with a creamy bechamel sauce. I think my foodie journey ends here. I'm kidding, of course. Served with piping hot rice and mashed potatoes good for two--but I am certain that most diners would eventually refuse to share. I would love to see a version of this dish with Mornay sauce instead of bechamel sauce. Mandi's also serves Adobo Ribs and Pinoy-Style Pork BBQ.

We got seated and given our menu but we weren't asked if we wanted drinks. It was taken at the same time we ordered our meals. Two of us in our party ordered sodas which we found out later was served in cans. They could've sold us at least a couple of the drinks in the entirety of our meal. After our meal, one of us ordered coffee. We chatted at least a good 15 minutes, plus asked for our bill, showed them a discount card (PWD, I believe/senior), have the bill readjusted, signed, our leftovers taken and bagged, and then finally served the coffee while we were getting ready to stand up. So with these, I hope management tell the waiters/waitresses to be attentive to their customers a bit more. Aside from that, the food we ordered were very tasty. PS.
