I ordered the Kung Pao tofu and the set meal of bagoong rice with vegemeat, but they were out on the tofu dish. This was good as the bagoong rice platter was massive. I've traveled around the Philippines and haven't had many vegan dishes but for the occasional tokwat (tofu) dish. So to get a dish that was veganized was pretty amazing. Somehow they were able to make this traditional dish minus the shrimp paste. Its slightly sweet and yet savory taste had me going back for more. The green mango on top was the clincher for me. It was so good and affordable. I definitely recommend this place to any vegan, vegetarian and don't worry carnivores. There's plenty on the menu for you, too.

101 Hawker Food House - Vegan laksa! Super flavorful & creamy. Meat is replaced with tofu, and the fresh bean sprouts add great contrast to the chewy glass noodles!

When I went here…read morefor the very first time, I was totally clueless and I didn't know what to expect from Singaporean food. I am always willing to try out different Asian cuisines so I thought it would be an absolutely wonderful idea to go here to check out the different types of dishes that they have to offer. The first time I went to Sentosa, I immediately noticed that almost all of the dishes they serve have curry in them. I am not particularly fond of curry or anything spicy so I was a little bit reluctant to order. I just wanted to slowly get out of the restaurant without ordering, but my friend was too shy to move from her seat. I had no choice so I just ordered their Singaporean Roast Chicken. After sitting for about 15 minutes, my food finally came. My mouth immediately began to drool as the waiter brought our order. It looked absolutely amazing! I could already tell just by looking at it that I'd be full by the end of the meal. The roasted chicken was so soft and tender that it could literally melt in your mouth. Good thing my friend stopped me from leaving Sentosa. It would have been such a big loss if I just left without even tasting their food.

I'm not a big fan of spicy food, but my Bicolano lobster, as you can probably tell from his reviews…read morehere on Yelp, is a total chili groupie. He keeps on insisting on taking me to places that serve spicy food, and I keep exerting my dominance (heh) because I do not want my mouth burning from a thousand different spices. Sometimes, though, I let him have his way, which is how we ended up eating at Sentosa. I was reluctant to order since everything on the menu seemed spicy, but I finally caved and ordered their laksa with a whole lot of rice on the side to deaden the heat. It turned out to be a moot point since you can ask the staff to lay off the spices, which made my laksa oh-so-delicious. Ah, good help is so hard to find nowadays so when you do, never let them go.

This is their second branch, their first branch is on Lilac St. in Marikina. The place is rather small. It serves Chinese food and there's a spread where you can choose your toppings for your claypot rice or soup. THE FOOD We had the Pork Asado and Garlic Sausage Claypot Rice (P170) - it's good. Reminds me of Binondo eateries. Better than I expected from a place that looked like what it looks like. I don't think they actually cook the rice in the clay pot like they do in Hong Kong, but that would be expecting too much. We also had the Spareribs Tausi (P140) - this was good but nothing too different from what you'll find in Binondo dimsum restaurants. The best dish we had, for me, was the Laksa Noodle Soup. The noodles were not soggy, the spicy, creamy and sour flavors were balanced - the whole effect was delicious. This is the dish I would recommend someone try. IMPRESSIONS I wasn't particularly impressed by the looks of the place. It looks like a neighborhood eatery. As for the food & drinks, I was surprised that they had imported sodas/drinks! The food was actually pretty decent and delicious, more than acceptable for its price range, and reminds me of Binondo eateries. This is not a high-end place, but it's clean. I don't know if there are any other Chinese restaurants in Antipolo since I'm not from there, but if you just have a craving for claypot rice, laksa, or Chinese sodas and beer, you could try Mogu Tree. The menu is a bit limited to claypot rice and laksa and a few dimsum dishes, but it's authentic in the sense that it feels / tastes like a Binondo eatery.

When I'm feeling like I want something different I just order randomly from the menu and I can be sure that I won't be disappointed. I don't think that I can get enough of it since it's not one of those things that you can get just anywhere and it's so addictive! I was hesitant to try the Kopi Bun with Chicken Satay and Angus Beef Burger at first because come on, would Kopi Bun and meat go well together? Why, yes it does! The contrast of flavours blends well and turns you into a believer. I can definitely say that I'm a fan. Kopi Roti was just recently renovated and it now looks hip, fun and fresh. But I always thought that it's a great place to hang out because of the comfortable seating area inside and outside, the staff and friendly and the food and drinks are good! Stars for their appetizer spicy eggplant dish and delicious complimentary starter soup!…read more Crispy fried chicken was on the dry side but supposed to be their best selling dish, and my sister swears that last time she had it there--it was amazing. So consistency seems to be an issue so minus stars for that The rice they gave us definitely tasted from the day before, and it was not even fully warm. I'm particular with my rice and would love freshly cooked rice. (I know my rice! Lol) Tofu Kangkong was alright nothing to remember by. I did not like the taste of tofu on this dish. If you love goat, their kaldereta kambing my dad loved! Their single dessert of mango gulaman was approved by all of us. Better than the mango dessert from Savory we had the day before. So it's a must order after a spicy meal. Parking is a hassle since they only really have space for 2 cars to park and they tend to tow around that area. Stars for: service, spicy eggplant appetizer dish (must order!) Kaldereta Kambing and Mango Gulaman Cons: old cold rice, dry inconsistent chicken, blah tofu *Would I come back? I would definitely come back for the eggplant dish! I just hope they work out the consistency in their cooking PS: took a picture of the menu for everyone!

I was glad when I ran across Indonyaki a few months back because I would always crave for traditional Indonesian dishes such as satay, nasi goreng, ayam goreng and gado gado. Indonyaki doesn't disappoint with the flavors and the colors of their food, which the owner and chef Rodgie has studied extensively during his job postings as a resort worker in Indonesia and Malaysia. The small street-side diner which is inspired by the traditional Indonesian warung or small family-owned restaurant serves Indonesian favorites that are sold by food carts and peddlers in the streets of Jakarta, Bali and Yogyakarta. The long lines and the crowds that overflow to the curb are indicative of the restaurant's success. They are quite busy most of the time, and it could be a tad difficult to land a seat without waiting a while, but the servers are very prompt with the orders. I particularly enjoy the ayam goreng combo meal, which comes with fried chicken, fried rice, soup and iced tea. I also love the chicken satay doused with Indonesian sticky soy sauce and served with coarse peanut source. Rodgie admits to toning the spice profile down to something that the Filipino palate could readily appreciate, but if you are feeling adventurous, ask for their extra spicy sambal, or chili sauce. My recent favorites include the mie goreng (stir-fried noodles) and the kang kong and tofu stir-fry. The place also sells shawarma, which may be a bit of an identity crisis, a lovable identity crisis at that.
