After my eyelid procedure, I experienced ongoing healing issues and a noticeable decline in my vision that had not been present beforehand. When I reported that my vision was clear in the morning but became blurry as the day went on, I was told this was a symptom of dry macular degeneration. In my own research, and in later discussions with another eye specialist, I was unable to find support for that explanation. I also found communication during follow-up visits to be inconsistent and at times dismissive of my concerns. When I asked for clarification about my symptoms, I often left without clear answers. I sought a second opinion. I believe patients deserve clear, accurate information and explanations that match their symptoms. This review reflects my personal experience, and I hope it helps others
