I THINK I JUST FOUND MY NEW FAVORITE NEIGHBORHOOD SPOT!…read more Man, let me tell y'all about Valentino's New York Pizza & Grill! I came here for the first time just a few days ago, and the food was so good I had to come BACK yesterday! This time I ordered a personal pizza with halal pepperoni and the Chicken Alfredo. Man, that Alfredo was RICH, creamy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! They definitely know what they're doing in that kitchen! When I show up I'm greeted and served without standing waiting. They are knowledgeable of the menu and that helps bcz I've been places where the staff is just as confused I am. Not here they are solid. But here's what makes this place even better! I walked in and stumbled upon a live music event! Turns out, they have live bands and entertainment, which makes this more than just somewhere to grab a bite. It's actually a cool neighborhood hangout! And the best part? I live about FIVE minutes away! So yeah, I think I found my new go-to spot. Whether it's grabbing some of those amazing wings, enjoying a cold beer, catching a game, or just hanging out listening to live music, this place checks all the boxes! Good food, good atmosphere, and a great neighborhood vibe. That's exactly what I look for in a local spot! Valentino's, y'all got yourself a regular! If you're in the area, definitely check them out, and follow their Instagram to see what they've got going on! My verdict: DEFINITELY WORTH COMING BACK!

Recently I had their gluten free penne arrabiata and it was absolutely delicious. Fresh basil, tomatoes, mushrooms, plenty of parmesan, spicy pink sauce. It's just the right amount of heat and herbs and savory deliciousness. Jon ordered the chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and it's so much food, he and my daughter ate it for two days. Tastes even better the next day, I swear! We've never had a pasta here we didn't love Italiannis also has fantastic salads. Maybe not what you're looking for initially when you're going for Italian food, but you know you need something cold and crunchy with all your hot and heavy carbs! Aside from the classic and always delicious house and caesar, they have a great chopped salad, a spinach salad with hard boiled eggs and bacon, a strawberry and goat cheese salad with mandarin oranges, a great Greek salad, and a fantastic wedge salad (my favorite). Their grilled steak salad is fantastic too, although you could add grilled steak (or chicken, shrimp, or salmon) to any of the salads and it'd be fabulous.

Crooner music softly coming through the speakers set the tone for a relaxing vibe during the meal. The service was good, but for a party of 6 the table selection could have been better. It felt cramped, and table space was lacking for the food we ordered, and emptied plates sat too long before being picked up. Diana had the Prosciutto Brie and Arugula Flatbread, and I had the Salmon Piccata. Hers was so-so, and mine was delicious and filling. The lemon white wine sauce, mmm, good. We finished it off with Tiramisu, Creme Brulee, and Key Lime Pie, a good finish for sure. Possibly could have enjoyed our time more with more space to work with.

There were two other parties there getting food to go. The place was uncomfortably warm inside. We started with mozzarella sticks, and the guy gave us an order of fries as well. The mozzarella sticks were good, the fries needed salt or seasoning. The kids ordered a large pepperoni pizza. They ate the whole thing, so I guess they liked it Hubby and I each got a Philly cheesesteak and a gyro and split them. Honestly, I wasn't too impressed with either. The Philly cheesesteak looked overcooked and was on the dry side-very little sauce or cheese. The meat was underseasoned on both of the sandwiches.
