It's not filled with bells and whistles and the most modern decor. They don't need that. What attracts a lot of people to this place is the delicious food and the great service. I cannot stress that enough. The soups are phenomenal here and they are filled with stuff inside. You're not going to get that watery type soup. You're getting that chunky chunky chunky soup that makes you wonder why you're so full all of a sudden. The people work hard here and they are running around. They make sure you're doing alright. This is a true "mom and pop" type of shop that is worth it - multiple visits. I can see this place getting more popular than the space can handle. FOMO!! (Not to be weird or gross) I was experiencing some of my own seasonal allergic chest congestion & that Borscht was the most wonderful thing I could have ate & it instantly made me feel better. I would definitely get that delivered through Uber Eats, & I dislike using Uber Eats. That cup serving size was the size of 4 cups of any other restaurant in a nice pottery big bowl. HUGE! Now, their kung pao tofu is delicious, and the vegetarian fried rice is tasty. For each dish they give you a tiny box of white rice. Unlike most Chinese restaurants that give you a generous portion of rice, their portion is tiny. Baby sized. Not that we need more rice; just an observation. Take out orders come in a fancy durable reusable bag (a plus) and fancily packaged utensils. The experience feels like a feast. Bourbon chicken is good but wow the chunks are so huge, making them difficult to eat with chopsticks. Typically in Chinese cuisine, chicken is cut to smaller bite-sized pieces to make it intuitive for chopstick users. Bourbon chicken is heavily breaded (just FYI) Soup dumplings still good as usual; their lamb dumplings are also great.
