This place is new in Davie but the service the food is awesome they sell pizza by the slice or pies. If you from NYC you must try you won't be disappointed and you must try the nana we called it square back home. Jimmy from Brooklyn so you know he the man.

GRAND OPENING !!! It was an absolute frenzy of pizza enthusiasts vying for position in line for that first taste of authentic Italian pizza. The owner Joey was personally welcoming every customer with a smile and some with hugs. Ordered an oversized slice of cheese pizza and took a seat at the bar in front of the ovens to capture a glimpse of the pizzas cooking to supremacy. My slice was ready within one minute, the cornicione was perfectly crispy with a slightly charred undercarriage. My favorite part was definitely the garlic infused zesty sauce which not only produced a tasty chew but included a blast of an enchanting scent. The originality was evident by a self-serve section called "Dip Your Slice" which had multiple pump sauces to add personal flavor to your pizza. The gender neutral bathroom was ultra modern with a deep white drop in sink and a wall inscription, Who's Your Mama? Above the toilet was proudly displayed the Mama Mia Pizza logo. Excellent pizza with a great staff.

We have been to the ice cream place next to Mama Mia many times but we had no idea that Mama Mia moved in next door until the owner of Aloha shared some photos on his instagram.,..we knew we needed to try this place. We went there after a movie and we were happy to see them busy. Nothing better than mom/pop places starting off well. Mama Mia's is quick serve. Order at the counter and they bring the food to you. We started with wings. Mild with a side of hot. They were very good. The skin could have been a little more crispy but the wings were a nice size and reasonable. We also shared a small pizza. The pizza was delicious! The cheese was so flavorful. We ended with a freshly filled pistachio cannoli. Sooooooo good! The restaurant is super clean and everyone was super friendly. They even told us about their deep dish pizza - we are definitely going to try that one next! The menu is simple and we love it! Can't wait to go back!

This pizzeria opened today and it was very busy. They had several large pizzas ready for slices to customers. I go simple with a cheese slice to get a true taste of the pizza. Very fast friendly organized service. Love the heavy garlic taste and the crunchy edge. They had an area of sauces for your slices, but in my humble opinion, the sauce table was too close to the backs of other guests who were eating. Will come back for another slice or a full take out pizza.

Sorry I ate some before posting but let me tell you something, this is NYC pizza right here, I know from experience and growing up on Long Island. I am so pumped to now have good pizza in town. Crispy and delicious.

This is a very small place, but good things come in small packages. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. There is no table service, you have to order a the register and they bring your food to your table. Personal I prefer to be waited on but when the food is really good I don't care. We ordered wings and a small pizza. Wings first, they were reasonably priced, a very large size, and cooked perfectly. My wife ordered them mild with hot on the side for me. I'm not sure about the mild but the hot, I wasn't the same old sauce you get a other restaurants. It was very good, good heat and good flavor. Now for the pizza. We got it with mushrooms and pepperoni. I think it was as good as any pizza I have had in New York. We rounded it off with a cannolli. My wife ordered with pistachios. I would have rather had it with chocolate chips. Either way it was good. The only negative thing I have to say is the can soda. I prefer the fountain machine soda. I'm hoping that the catering menu eventually makes it way to the regular menu, because I pizza and wing were so good, I can't wait to try some of the other items on the menu.

Tim sat with us while we ate a heart shaped pizza for Valentines Day which was delicious. He took his time, he answered all questions and gave excellent suggestions about how much food we needed and what would be best for our vegetarians and vegans. He gave us an amazing price and even threw in grated cheese and a half pan of garlic rolls. Food arrived on time. The delivery girl stayed and helped me set up a grazing table and all the food, she helped me with set up of decorations too. She was so helpful and caring and I couldn't have done it without her. The food was excellent. Food was well seasoned the pasta was al dente the garlic rolls were fluffy and yummy chicken parmesan was perfect and the Penne Alla Vodka was to die for. My order was ready by the time arrived like the app predicted and the pizza was still hot. I'm normally not a big neapolitan pizza lover, I prefer thick crust pizza, but this was delicious. They have basic to creative pizza toppings and the pasta could be home made. I was not sure since it was pretty uniform in size. The sauce on the pizza was a little sweet for me but it worked well with the amount of crust to cheese ratio. The garlic rolls were insane... honestly some of the best I've ever had. We shared a house salad, and it was huge--definitely big enough to split. Everything tasted super fresh, and the balsamic dressing was perfectly drizzled and flavorful without being overpowering. For my entrée, I ordered the chicken parmesan with angel hair pasta. I'm pretty picky about marinara sauce (and I'm Italian, so I hold places to a higher standard), but everything was completely on point. The flavors, the sauce, the portion--just really well done. What made the experience even better was the owner coming over to talk to us. She shared details about the food and the restaurant, which made it feel really personal and welcoming. They also host special wine tastings at the end of the month with a curated menu, which I definitely want to come back for. We didn't try the pizza this time, but I already know I'll be back. They offer thin crust and even a deep dish that you can order ahead (about an hour in advance), which sounds amazing. It's a smaller place, but it's cozy, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the service was excellent. The senior management at Sicilian Oven definitely keeps tabs on their stores and ensures that the stores are living up to their expectations. This one is no different. The food was spot on! The garlic rosemary bread is to die for. We've often thought of just getting a couple of those and a plate of pasta to share. However, today we had a small Sicilian salad (with gorgonzola added on) to go with the bread. Chef's kiss! We then spent quite some time, while we drank our wine, discussing what to have. Sometimes we opt for the fire roasted shrimp Palermo, or the cervellata with onions and peppers, or the wings, etc. Today, we did our go-to pizza; cervellata, mushrooms, grilled onions, double garlic and double basil. It hits all the taste points, and these guys make those flavors work exceptionally well together. Once that first bite (with the perfect fold) hits those taste buds (mine I throw some red pepper flakes on to give it an extra kick), it makes you dance in your chair. Did we take half of it home? Yes!!! Was the rest just as good the next day? Oh absolutely!!!!! Now, if I could just convince them to make that pizza on top of the garlic rosemary bread. Mangia!!!

Large bay doors stay open, creating an inviting open-air atmosphere with plenty of fresh air and a relaxed vibe. Inside, every table has a view of the traditional wood-burning brick oven, along with multiple flat screens and music playing throughout the restaurant. One detail that stood out immediately was the visible service dog sign near the hostess stand. I was seated right away, and they even brought out a water bowl for my service dog without needing to ask. The server was knowledgeable about the menu, offered helpful recommendations, and confirmed they provide a 20% discount for military members and first responders on select meals, which is always appreciated. I shared a large Mona Lisa pizza topped with fresh basil, prosciutto, and thick slices of tomato. The thin crust came out perfectly crisp with just the right amount of char from the brick oven. Service was friendly overall, although it appeared the server may have been covering too many tables. Drink refills were missed, and it took a little while to close out the check. Even with that, the food, atmosphere, military-friendly discount, and service dog accommodations make this a place worth visiting for either lunch or dinner.
