    Thai Fried Rice with chicken
    Trevor T.

Went to Liberty Station on a Saturday and had a craving for some Thai Food so went to Mama Made. Woman working the counter was super nice and when I ordered the fried rice I asked if she preferred the chicken or beef. She said she liked both but suggested the chicken. I went with her advice. Was VERY busy, but food didn't take too long. Food was super warm which was nice, but was kinda surprised at how bland the food was. The chicken had no flavor and there were a lot of bright white pieces that didn't have cook marks on them. I stuck to the cooked pieces and took a picture. They offer soy sauce and hot sauce so could flavor it up. I believe their noodle dishes are better and that is what most patrons were ordering so would stick to that.

    Pad see ew with beef

Came here on a weekend and it was pretty packed. I was feeling some Thai food and this place was available. Located in the center of liberty public market they have great Thai food. I normally stick with what I like so I usually go for the pad see ew. Theirs is very tasty and it comes with some vegetables as well. Service was okay, the guy at the counter wasnt super friendly but that didn't deter me from getting the food. Good spot for Thai food.

I've been craving for pad see ew for a while and since I was here with my friends I decided to get dinner at the Liberty Station. I came in probably around 7 or 7:30 on a Saturday evening. There wasn't a line to order but there was a line to pick up. I ordered the Pad See Ew with Chicken ($13) and I probably waited about 15-20 minutes for my order. The station can get really crowded so it can be a bit cramped at the counter between the people who are waiting for their orders and those who are just trying to pass by the aisle. It was a decent amount of food since I was able to split it into two meals. I wish that there was a bit more seasoning on it though because I thought that the noodles were a bit bland and the chicken was dry. I definitely needed some water to pair with it. They had some packets of chili sauce on the side which helped add that kick of spice and flavor to it though. They did have a good mix of protein, vegetables, and noodles in the plate so there wasn't too much of a certain ingredient over the others. Overall I wasn't really impressed with the pad see ew I got here. If I'm back at the Liberty station I don't think that I will be getting Thai food from here again. It didn't even satisfy my craving for me and I'm left still wanting some more pad see ew.

The BEST! both are about $14 each

I love this place! I got their pad see eww and basil fried rice. Perfect texture, right amount of spice. They do not have prik nim pla but have the generic hot sauce packet. yuck. Anyhow I was able to enjoy their dishes without any additional condiments. If I'm a local this would be my weekly must have dish! I placed the order and in 5 minutes the food was ready to be picked up. There were bar seats around this cafe so was able to devour the food while it was fresh.

Taro boba tea and Pad See Ew Noodle
    Jana N.

This is probably one of my go-to spots in Liberty Station and have had a positive experience each time I've ordered from here. I usually stick to the pad see ew and this trip was no exception. I find that the prices here are decent for a good amount of food, they are relatively quick and they have a dairy-free taro boba tea option. Two things I do wish is: number one, that there was a spice leave to choose from, such as 1 or 2 stars. The only option is to add sriracha or other hot sauces. Number two, they would provide a pager thing so that you could walk around or find a seat while waiting for your food. Right now they only give you a number and the pick up area is rather narrow and crowded. Overall a good pick in my opinion.

Found some metal pieces in my Pad Thai. Almost choked on one of the pieces while eating and spit it out to my surprise it was a little metal piece and then looked into the Pad Thai I found an other piece. Really disappointed.

I chose Mama Made because it's conveniently located across from Pasta Design where my daughter ordered her lunch. I chose Pad Thai with shrimp, medium heat. It took about 10 minutes to prepare. It came out steaming hot and cooked well (not overly wet and runny). The portion was generous with just enough shrimp. This is my usual starting point before trying other dishes. It was quite good and priced reasonably for food hall dining. I'll try other dishes the next time we're in the area.

I purchased a mixed vegetable meal with Shrimp yesterday, October 28th and the cashier was Alisa. The time was 5:26pm and I asked for shrimp and I asked if they were going to be fried. I mentioned I wanted shrimp a couple times. I get home and I look at my meal and I was charged for Shrimp and mixed vegetables but I have only mixed vegetables with no shrimp.

Chicken wings, appetizer sampler, and pad see ew with tofu
    Dio A.

I was looking forward for my food as the look delicious on pictures. Much to my disappointment, it wasn't exactly what I imagined the food to be. I had the chicken wings, and they were hard as if they have been sitting for a while. And tasted pretty bland and hardly any flavor. They provided some sauce, maybe soy sauce, but my first bite of it was so bad, any sauce would not have changed my first impression. I also ordered the Appetizer Sampler and it was no different. The only thjng l was able to eat was the coconut shrimp . I ordered the Pad See Ew for my main dish, with tofu. This one is not bad, but still lacking some flavor. So my overall impression of their food was mediocre. Also, for a to go order, I would expect some napkins and utensils in the bag, but there were none of that. I definitely don't recommend this place.

    Matt R.

What a great little find. Non-descript and unpretentious. Great service. Great prices. Great food. This is some of the best Thai food we've had. Great flavor. And, the beef was tender and flavorful. The order came out quick, the very accurate. My wife eats gluten free and they easily accommodated her request. Give this place a try.

I went with one of my girlfriends tonight at about 5:30 PM. We were quickly seated. I ordered a mango lemonade, which came out quite fast and was beautiful. It tasted pretty good too. I asked the server for recommendations on the menu, but she seemed startled by my question, like she was not used to giving recommendations. The two items that she did recommend didn't really sound appealing so I went with Pad See Ew with mock duck. That's one of my go to dishes at a Thai restaurant. I asked not to have any spice level added to my food, but the food came out and was just generally lacking flavor. It was very bland and even though there was a generous portion of vegetables in the dish the mock duck was super mushy. All the places I've ever been to it's sautéed crispy. Also, the the noodles were all stuck together. Like if you put noodles in water to let it boil, but you don't stir them and they just boil like that in a clump. The restaurant was very cute inside. I would be open to trying it again just because I've heard so many good things that I can't believe this is their standard experience.

Becky is warm, attentive, thoughtful, incredibly detail-oriented, and radiates a kindness that makes every experience feel welcoming and supported. Every interaction with Becky leaves me feeling cared for, respected, and genuinely valued as a customer. The food itself? Absolutely incredible. The chicken fried rice is one of my favorites -- the perfect balance of textures and flavors. Each bite brings together tender, well-seasoned chicken; fluffy rice with that subtle smoky wok aroma; crisp vegetables that still have a slight crunch; and seasoning that hits that sweet spot between savory, aromatic, and comforting. It's one of those dishes that feels simple on the surface but sings with layers of flavor the moment you start eating. The ginger and salmon stir fry is bright, fragrant, and beautifully prepared. The ginger adds just the right zing, the vegetables stay vibrant and fresh, and the salmon comes out tender, flaky, and infused with the sauce in all the best ways. The cashew stir fry is another flavorful amazing dish -- a perfect harmony of crisp vegetables, roasted cashews, savory sauce, and protein that soaks up all that flavor. Every bite is crunchy, warm, and satisfying. The Panang salmon always catches my eye -- beautifully cooked salmon nestled in a rich, creamy, aromatic panang curry. The sauce is silky, fragrant with coconut and spices, slightly sweet, slightly spicy, and the kind of dish you daydream about afterward. Such vivid and beautiful colors as well. My friend raves nonstop about their mixed seafood stir fries -- generous portions, fresh seafood, bold flavors, and consistently delicious. They also make excellent Thai teas, including a vegan version that is so thoughtful and so appreciated. It's creamy, refreshing, and delicious without sacrificing flavor. The service overall is always warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It feels even better than how people describe family. The chefs clearly know what they're doing -- every dish comes out tasting like it was prepared with intention and pride. We looked over the menu and saw the descriptions of mostly Thai food on the menu. Bahn Thai is the comparison since that has been our go to. My partner wanted Tom Yum soup, Drunken noodles (preferably with vegetables) and I ordered as a starter crab rangoon cigar roll and for me a fried pork belly. Here are my musings, the Tom Yum soup was good. The crab rangoon should really be better suited to the crunch of wontons (but nice try). The fried pork belly was a little pricey for the amount received since this only came with sauces and no rice. The Drunken noodles were fine but it should also have an option of vegetables to add instead of tofu, chicken or shrimp. Overall, I might try them again sometime if I am in the area. Nothing still beats my go to place. But as Yelpers go, it's always nice to try new places.
