Prik Ki Nu is the Thai cuisine vendor at the Global Fork Food Hall in Little Italy. I have not seen other branches of this business before so perhaps they are new to the local scene. Their stall was located on the far left side of the venue. The one-page menu at the service counter featured four appetizers, six noodle/rice dishes, and two offerings over rice. For the noodles and rice, the following toppings were available... tofu, vegetable, chicken, beef, shrimp, and crispy pork belly.
I selected the Drunken Noodles with chicken as a protein. The spiciness level ranged from one to ten, and I picked two for my dish. Flat rice noodles were stir fried with egg, sprouts, scallion, tamarind, palm sugar, fish sauce, and crushed peanuts. The contents were served in a round cardboard bowl. The serving size filled up about half of the vessel. I found the heat to be noticeable so it wasn't watered down to an Americanized palate. For the price and quality of these noodles, I gave a three star rating. read more
