A lot of bakers were already booked for the holidays, but they squeezed me into their tight schedule. I have ordered cookies from them twice now and they came out fantastic. The details were above my expectations. So the first customized cookies was for the holidays and I sent her an image of what I wanted the cookies to look like. I was not aware that she was going to turn them into holiday Santa hats. That part just made these holiday cookies better than what I expected. The flavors were sugar cookie and gingerbread. Both cookies came out delicious, so I knew I would order again. The 2nd time around I just gave her a few images of my son's favorite Apex Legends character and I knew she would do a good job, but when I picked them up they were better than good.... they were amazing! I was so impressed with the art and details put into these cookies. My son was very happy with the outcome and we can't wait to see what other cookies she creates for us in the future. During these crazy times with COVID19 and safety, she was very safe. Just like the previous baker I visited that very same day, she allotted a time for pick up and did not stagger her customers. She has a cute little table setup in front of her porch where you pick up your goodies. She's very professional and her house is not hard to find. She's super busy, so if you need customized cookies then you have to book in advance.

The ordering process was easy, and done via text messages. Pick up was also efficient, as she had the cookies ready on a stand in her front patio. I love that each cookie came individually packaged. The cookies came out beautifully decorated beyond anything that I would have dreamed up. They taste as good as they look with a soft texture and delicious sugar cookie flavor. They aren't overly sweet, and the decorative frosting is as yummy as the rest of the cookie. I would definitely order from Be Sweet Cookies again.

My son and I were disappointed with our experience ordering a custom graduation cake…read more This cake was for my son's high school graduation, and we discussed the King Kong theme several times, including specific details from the 2005 movie. Unfortunately, there seemed to be confusion throughout the process. Three days before delivery, I was asked again what flavor the cake was, despite having already provided that information. I was also told I would receive photos the night before the event, but I did not receive them until about 1:00 p.m. on the day of delivery, leaving little opportunity to request any changes before the cake was delivered at 3:00 p.m. While the cake was neat and professionally assembled, it did not reflect the vision we had discussed. One of our biggest disappointments was that the King Kong image was so small that it was difficult to see and did not stand out as the centerpiece of the cake. We expected Kong to be a much more prominent part of the design. The darker, vintage, Depression-era feel from the movie that we had discussed was also missing. The black ball decorations on top were another disappointment. They did not fit the King Kong theme and looked more like birthday or baby shower decorations than a graduation cake inspired by the film. In addition, we were never told that these decorations were not edible. One child assumed they were edible, bit into one, and hurt his teeth. Had we known, we would have removed them or warned our guests beforehand. Adding to the confusion, when the cake was delivered to the graduation celebration, the baker wished my son a "Happy Birthday," which made it seem as though she was not fully aware of the occasion despite our previous discussions. The cake was not terrible, but for a $200 custom cake, we expected better communication, closer attention to the details we discussed, and a final design that more accurately reflected the theme we requested. We also found the cake to be slightly dry. My sons name was added to the cake board without being discussed with me beforehand which further contributed to the feeling that the final design differed from what we had envisioned. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet our expectations.
