Great food but it can be a little slow. They do their best. The pizza is delicious and the brownies are to die for!

To be honest I wasn't expecting much just because Idaho isn't really known for cheesesteaks but…read morewhen I took my first bite I was impressed by the flavor. I passed by this location and the outside of the restaurant grabbed my attention so as I decided to give it a try. I got the regular cheesesteak, so just meat with onions and cheese. From the appearance of the sandwich I thought it would be blend but when I bit into it, I was surprised by how good it was! My only cons are that the bun needs some Philly upgrade to it and the portion of meat needs to increase and I think it would be really good! Staff were friendly, and helpful. The ambiance with chill. Would definitely again in the future!

After eating here, we should have came here instead of having the pizza. It was later in the afternoon when we came in so it was pretty chill. I I did creep out the menu online so I had a general idea of what I wanted. My husband is pretty predictable so he automatically knew what he wanted. So for lunch I got the 7" pepper steak and my husband got the 7" steak classic with no onions. We both got extra meat instead on getting a bigger sandwich. Yo, this sandwich was so good! My meat was cooked perfectly and not dry! It had a ton of jalapenos and banana peppers. It was cheesy and savory. The bread was soft and not dense. Every bite of it was so good! Not gonna lie, the jalapenos were creeping up on me towards the end. They were getting spicy! I might do half the jalapenos next time. The banana peppers added a nice acid to the sandwich. I polished that baby off and was so full! Well, as full as I was, this joint does offer ice cream. Of course we had to grab some! So, my husband and I grabbed a single scoop of cookies and cream on a sugar cone. It was a decent sized scoop. The gal that scooped it did have a hard time scooping it, it was kinda hollow in the middle. But, it was honestly enough ice cream without officially putting me into food coma. The gals that helped up were really nice! The Phillies here are killer good! The venue is open and spacious. Huge tvs on the wall would make this joint fun during football season! My husband and I enjoyed our sandwiches and look forward to coming back for more!

Today, our friend brought us to Garden City to walk along the river, and then over to Uncle Guiseppe's for lunch. It is a small, seemingly authentic New York deli that serves a great number of different sandwiches, along with specialty drinks, like sodas, sparkling water, and lemonade. They also well things like pastries and, of interest to us, jarred roasted tomatoes. My wife had the #9 Monte Cristo, and I had the #3 Bonanza. Delicious. I also had a Manhattan Special Black Cherry soda, also super yummy. My mistake, not realizing what I was doing, was to order "whole" vs "half" sandwiches. The whole are footlong. I ate the entire sandwich, holy moly! My wife brought half home. Next time I would probably order a half. The owner, who I will call Guiseppe, had the heavy East Coast accent, and checked on all of his customers, making sure they were happy and satisfied. This place is a little gem. We're already talking about our next visit to Garden City to walk and have lunch at Uncle Guiseppe's!

We made our way in and waited till they showed up. The vibe was chill. There was another gentleman eating his burger. My husband and I checked out the menu while we waited. After my in laws showed up, we got what we wanted all lined to and ordered. I got the cheeseburger tonight with no bun and extra onions. I also good a side of zucchini fries. It's been about a year since we have eaten here and I remember the zucchini fries being so good! My burger looked fabulous! The zucchini fries had a nice golden crust to them. I was ready to dig in. I would have liked to put ketchup and mustard on my burger but unfortunately there were no to go packets of either. I can't really use communal sauces so I had to pass on adding sauce to my burger or be able to dip my husband's fries in ketchup. My burger was tasty. I did order it with extra onions and didn't really get any extra. I also don't remember my zucchini fries being so minimal to an order. The side I got today had about 6 rounds in it. As an additional cost, I honestly thought it would be more than 6 small rounds. It's been a year since we have eaten here. The food was good as usual. I do enjoy all the pinball machines that you can play on. The staff is nice. I appreciate that everything we ate today was locally sourced. I am sure we will be back again soon. Hopefully sooner than later.

Our order took about 15 minutes, which was fine. The Philly was made with ground beef and honestly would have been better as a shepherd's pie sandwich with mashed potatoes and corn. The burger came with only cheese and onions on a soggy bun--pretty disappointing. Fries were just okay, maybe even a little below that. We were asked if we wanted fry sauce; one of us said yes, the other no, but we ended up with two portions at an extra $0.25 each. Guess we should have read the menu more carefully. Overall, the food wasn't even satisfactory. Too bad--I really wanted to like this place. Red Onions? And for $25 with tip? Sigh. We should have gone to PHO NOMENAL as planned. sorry....

The ambiance was typical of a sub restaurant and very clean. I had the 12in Gator and it was filling! All the ingredients were cooked just right and the bread they use is perfect. Flavorful sirloin steak, moist chicken, kielbasa, grilled onions, bacon bits and their swamp sauce all melted together with provolone. My wife had the maple bacon chicken sub which was also very tasty but a lil too sweet for me. Its not on their menu anymore but you can still get it. Its a smokehouse maple rubbed chicken, maple syrup glaze, bacon ,lettuce, tomato and mayo. Will be back to try some other sandos for sure! Meridian finally has a great sandwich shop!

Once our food was brought over, the worker dropped our fries all over the table and then proceeded to ask if we wanted a new order. Um, yes please? Then we started unwrapping our sandwich order and noticed that we got one of our sandwiches as the wrong order, and it turned out that the people sitting across the room from us got our sandwich and we got theirs. So then we had to wait longer for them to remake the sandwich. Our kids ordered the chicken strips, which did not look like chicken when they arrived. The color was very weird. The only thing that deserved a one star was that at the end of our visit, one of our kids accidentally spilt their drink, and the worker came over and took care of it no problem and was very gracious, so that was a bit of a saving grace. Overall, this place is a bummer bummer. It's not that hard to make a sandwich. Wouldn't go back.
