I had planned a big trip like this before but this time I decided I could really use the help. So, I scrolled Virtuoso and found a planner that was local to me -- Tracy! It was great working with Tracy. It was like working with a friend where we could bounce ideas off of each other and riff and really pull the dials between budget and adventure together. Speaking of, she was really accommodating to my families tight budget as well. I'm sure it wasn't easy! But overall, when we got on the trip, it was super seamless. Everything was planned out to the T. We had a pre-trip meeting and that really helped me and my fiance know ahead of time of what to expect and the trip was super easy for us and best part of all, was that my parents and aunties were super happy to have experienced Scotland together. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Our guide, Brian, was super friendly and knowledgeable. He let the group choose how to spend our time (more driving vs. educational tidbits) which was great. Water was offered before the tour started and during, with a full ice chest strapped on to one of the Tomcars, which was easily accessible during any of the stops. The only bummer was that we had to wait for a group of gentlemen, who were a bit late and worse for wear, which cut into our actual drive time. All things considered though, my fiancé and I had a blast and I would go again in a heartbeat!!!

Two itinerary items were clearly sold and repeatedly stated by their agent as private driver/private tour for my niece's birthday and for my mom's wish to visit Lourdes-yet neither was delivered as promised. When we raised the issue, the owner refused to acknowledge that his agent explicitly told us multiple times that these would be private tours. Instead, they deflected and claimed they "worked so hard" because our itinerary was adjusted three times to coordinate dates for four travelers. Basic planning is the bare minimum, and it's exactly why people hire a travel agency. Failing to deliver what was promised and then refusing to take ownership is unacceptable. No accountability, no integrity and no trust. I would not recommend this agency.
