Woosah Art + Coffee - Iced Banana bread latte

Woosah Art + Coffee

My friends and I stopped by Woosah while we were in Saugatuck for a bachelorette party, and we…read moreloved both the experience and the overall vibe. Inside the cafe is a gift shop filled with art, apparel, and fun local items like shirts and sweatshirts, which was fun to browse. You place your coffee order at a little window outside, at least during the fall when we visited; I am honestly not sure how it works in the winter months. When we arrived, there was a decent line of people waiting, which we took as a good sign. Clearly, this spot is popular. I had a hard time deciding what to order because everything sounded good, but I ended up choosing the Harvest Moon Latte ($6.25). It had a good mix of brown sugar and spice flavor, and I did enjoy it overall, but the espresso was slightly more bitter than I typically prefer, and the drink was not very sweet despite the brown sugar flavor. Ultimately, I am glad I ordered it hot because the whipped cream on top melted into the drink and added a bit of sweetness, which helped balance the flavor. The staff did an excellent job handling the crowd and keeping things moving smoothly, even with a lot of people waiting for drinks. Since we had a large group, we were lucky enough to grab seats at the long outdoor table with swing seats, which was such a fun and unique feature. The outdoor seating area, in general, is cool and adds to the laid-back, artsy vibe of the cafe. Overall, Woosah is a great stop for coffee with a fun atmosphere and unique setup. It is definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Too cute! So I've been to Woosah Art & (Sidewalk) Coffee in GR. I didn't realize they had another…read moreoutpost in this area. I love that they have such a unique pup cup! My pups slurped it right up - it was like pumpkin with some whip. I also got myself a lil 'latte which I enjoyed. There's ample outdoor seating and again, super doggo friendly. What a cute spot in the area and the staff was so nice. Drinks came out quickly as well.

We went for a hike up Mt Baldhead to Oval Beach and back up. Afterwords we needed coffee and bathrooms. Outside Coffee came up on our search list, highly recommended, and open! While most other coffee shops nearby were closed, Outside Coffee was open. Thank you! Furthermore, the coffee was delicious. From drip coffee to cold brew to lattes, you can't go wrong. Everything is high quality and delicious! The staff in both the coffee shop and the outdoor shop were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We loved perusing the outdoor shop goods while we waited for the coffee. Plus the bathrooms were clean and available. What more could you ask for? We now have a must-stop coffee shop next time we are in the area. Thank you for being available, delicious, and high quality, Outside Coffee! And see you next time!

They have a huge, fun outdoor seating area and lots of drinks to choose from. I was so excited to hear they make all their syrups in house, so I chose the banana bread latte and the crows nest (essentially mint cold brew with half and half) and both were amazing! The banana latte had a great banana flavor without being too sweet and the crows nest was so refreshing- reminded me of Philz mint mojito, but better! I also got a peach slushie for my daughter who immediately said it was soooo good. Finally, the cashier who helped me was so kind and patient- she answered my questions about the drinks with such enthusiasm and made such great recommendations. The only thing is I didn't notice that they have much food options so would have to hop across the street for that. Objective: Date of visit: 8/16/25 Previous visits: none Takes reservations/call aheads? I don't think so Parking: a handful of spots right outside the shop, which is connected to Woosah Perceived capacity: outdoor, medium-large Perceived atmosphere: casual Wait time to seating: 5 min for iced drinks What I/we got: banana bread latte, crows nest, and peach slushie (all 12 oz) cost: about $20 Assessment: 5 stars- I am now sad because I remember outside coffee being in GR and didn't have a chance to go before they closed. Will have to visit more often and make Outside Coffee part of the itinerary. Plan: We will definitely come back the next time we're in the area!

I had the Pasteis which included one vegan heart of palm, two beef, and two cheese crispy little pastry pockets. They were very good. My vegan friend had the Beet Salad that was huge and had lots of lettuce with only oil and pepper as a dressing. She said the ratio of lettuce to tasty stuff wasn't great. I also had the açaí bowl which had strawberries, pineapple, house made granola on top of the açaí. Very good and the house made granola was extra special. They did have a few outdoor tables on the sidewalk.

I ordered a matcha latte and it was pretty terrible. Unfortunately, a lot of places can't do matcha, but I was hopeful because this place is also a cafe with baristas, but no. This kind of matcha is why people don't like matcha. I also got the crab eggs benedict, one of the priciest menu items. As I cut this ball of crab open I expected a beautiful poached egg... nope. It was a medium to soft boiled egg that was almost cold inside. The crab cake ball was pretty good but like not worth $26. My girlfriend got a vanilla latte and the berry waffles, which she said both were pretty good. I took a taste of the berry topping on the waffles and it was tasty. I guess she chose better than me! Finally, we did have a wait when we got there, maybe 25 minutes which was not a big deal. But, I guess I should've specified we wanted to sit outside... When we came for our table there were 4 open tables outside, so I asked if we could sit out there. Host said they were for people waiting before us. 2 of the tables sat empty the whole time we were there. Whatever, I won't claim to understand the inner working of restaurants or seating so not a big deal, but it was kinda confusing. I will say, it was also pretty noisy inside, some noise dampening would be nice! Overall, I'd say it seems pretty overhyped compared to the reality of my experience.
