I've been a patient of Dr Malloy's on & off for a while, and I can't say enough nice things about him. He is a wonderful therapist: He's patient, compassionate, sensitive, sharp, keenly in-tune with his patients, honest, kind, intuitive, gentle, calm, smart, funny, conscientious, and all around a stand-up gentleman who is dedicated to helping people.
I know it can be a frightening thought to trust someone and let your guard down and be vulnerable, but trust me, there's no one else who will show more understanding and compassion toward you and your issues/concerns than this doctor.
Typically, he's pretty solidly booked, but people often cancel to reschedule, so it's worth a try to give him a call. Give him a try, you won't regret it.
A few things...
-Accepts insurance.
-All appts start at top of the hour and ends after about 50 mins.
-Copay is collected at the end of your session.
-Don't be late, as that hour is reserved for you.
-For your first appt, arrive early to fill out some paperwork.
-Therapy takes time, as the issue(s) you're dealing with are most likely as complex as you, so be patient, show up for appts, open up & follow his advice, and you will definitely feel better.
