My father has never been a fan of this place because of a falling out with our family vet and this vet years ago. However, when I got my puppy I decided I would take him here despite my father'a urging not to. I walked in and was greeted by the desk staff who were very friendly. I only had to wait a few moments before I was taken in the room. The doctor was so sweet and gave my the diagnosis of tapeworm and sent me home with a stool sample kit and medication to rid my baby of the worms. I did the sample and got a call the same day. He had two other interstitial parasites and I picked up the medication that day. Now my little boy is happy as a clam and healthy as can be! Thank you!

Not happy with this place at all!! Two years in a row our dog came home very sick after going to Mallard for a simple nail trim or routine shots. They provided free medicine for it once but this shouldn't be happening. This last time she got sick it was real hard on her she was constantly gagging. Today we brought our girl in for a flu shot, bath and nail trim. When she came out she was missing practically the entire top layer of skin from her nose. No one says a word to me about it, they simply handed her to me. I said "what happened to her nose? " "Most of her skin is off." I said "it was not like that when I dropped her off." The red headed girl at the front desk said I'll be right back. She said "I don't hv it in her records that she's a cage rubber." I asked what that was. She said "if a dog is on edge they may rub their nose on the cage." I said "she's NEVER done this, ever." She's well adjusted and taken care of. She handed me free medicine for her nose. I said "I'm mad, twice when bringing her in for routine stuff she's contracted the dog flu or some virus, now this??!!?" Her response was a flippant "sorry but we only have so much control when they're in the dog run." WOW. I'm speechless. Until now. I hope this is a warning for others considering bringing their pets here. Her nail trim was even shoddy...they were all choppy & jagged instead of nice clear cuts. She was not herself for a while when I got her home. The two vet doctors Dr. Mark Piechocinski and Dr. Fatima Kazmi are always nice, polite and helpful but the staff are almost always rushed and not always friendly. After three years with them this experience was finally enough to make us leave their practice and find a new one. I'm quite upset that we trusted our dog with them for just two hrs and picked her up with the top layer of her nose gone!!

This is my almost 3 year old pup,Sophie.

It's hard to find neighbors or friends to come out this far to watch our babies ( Laila-chocolate lab, Gracie-Manchester Terrier, Izzy-Kitty, and 10 chickens). My wife found Doggie Doody online and that's where the WOW comes in. Jenny and her husband came out for a visit and my wife loved them from the beginning. We had them watch our babies a few days while we went to Lake Geneva for the weekend. They came four times a day. They played, feed, and checked on the chicks. They provided text messages with a detailed list of things they did and included photos. We used them again two weeks ago for 24 hour service (are babies are our babies, no kids) so I (the man of the house) was nervous for a 9 day vacation. Jenny used one of her staff to come at night and stay with them, and she is just as wonderful. Same text messages and photos. If your looking for a company or reliable humans to care for your pets as they where a part of their family, look no further. Call Jenny at Doggie Doody and you won't be let down. BEWARE OF PRICE GAUGING - Minooka Aminal Hospital…read more I was told I needed a prescription for my kitten which I gladly went to pick up. The bill was $100. A few minutes after leaving I did a little research and found that these are available elsewhere and that a prescription is not required. I can get the same exact items elsewhere for HALF the price. I totally understand that markups are to be expected but at 100%?!?! I called immediately and was told that I could not come back for a refund and that I would have to wait for the office manager to call me. She never called me back and I was finally able to get in contact with her after 3 attempts. In the end she told me that company policy is that they would NOT take them back nor provide any sort of refund. In my opinion the word "prescription" means that you can't get it over the counter and only through a veterinarian. I should have been given the option so that I could do some research beforehand to determine where I would make my purchase. I fully support local businesses and I did try and do the right thing and reach out to the business for resolution but there was no compassion nor willingness to compromise. I am only providing this information so that others can ask the appropriate questions and make the right decision for them.

I wouldn't recommend dogdayze unfortunately. Staff are Really, Really lethargic & grumpy & frankly…read morelazy. I was hesitant to bring my dog here, especially after reading a particularly horrifying review (see one left by CristinaChee on GoogleReviews 2mo ago! She was Totally Right- and the fact that nothing has changed is Very Alarming). The employees just don't seem to care (other than charging you ridiculous fees for simple tasks that they may or may not actually do, e.g., you will book/pay for a nature walk but they will be slow to (or never) post or send photos of actually doing it, really cranky/bad attitudes when you dare to ask too!). They are seriously THE most unhappy looking bunch of people to work at a doggydaycare, it's pretty shocking and pathetic. No one says hello or greets the dogs in a friendly way- and similar to what Cristina described if something goes wrong, NO ONE will contact you!!! They are surly and defiant (and again LAZY) and will lie to your face, zero apology whatsoever. The woman who claims to be the manager is terrible- not friendly at all, comes across as super grumpy, and is on a power trip, verrrry arrogant. I've asked her to contact me about an issue, no phonecall or email reply at all. As they say, crap flows from above- so once you meet her, you are no longer surprised that her workers are similar to her and really, really bad! I really hope there is someone above her/an owner who can actually effect real positive change/replace her and/or them. It's a shame because the daycare's activities sound good online (what attracted me initially) but they're ill equipped and don't do a good job implementing them- like for a costume day they have no props etc on hand (what dog daycare has no fun props/makes zero effort) and when painting while some dogs might have 3 pawprints on their final artwork, another might have half a print, because again the workers are lazy as all get out. Mind you you're paying like $30 dollars EACH for all of this, walks, lick plates, etc.- the LEAST these jokers could do is complete these BEYOND SIMPLISTIC tasks & take care of our beloved pets while doing so. They seem to think they can get away with the "I seem young so it's okay nowadays to be lazy and attitude-y" - umm, think again? We customers don't have to put up w/ it! And fortunately there are PLENTY of other pet daycares that actually care and don't gouge you price-wise. Try and give a darn and care and DO BETTER. (Please note: owner didn't address any of the issues that were brought up in this just defensive reply sigh, includes one I brought up inperson, fact of the matter is staff/manager did NOT have decency to even reach out to me about problems including damage to item my dog went to daycare with, I specifically asked for someone to ring me, no one did even after 2weeks, that's what I realized I had been hoodwinked- everything mentioned true. There is no point communicating to staff FYI, they again Do Not Respond, so bizarre, never experienced that before- totally unprofessional and not the way ones runs a business. And there are most definitely others w/ similar experiences to mine, again please reference earlier mentioned Google review(s), there is absolutely no defense whatsoever to what happened & clearly no changes have transpired since that horrible experience yikes, no apologies given either, just arrogance and lack of acknowledgement of clear problems, so obviously no fixes set up (if you have a camera at frontdesk, review the footage, the staff are NOT nice, NOT friendly, it is a fact- we humans and animals deserve better.)-take care.

They are ALWAYS excited to see my pups and my grand pups! They are very engaging and greet every dog by their name. Which I find so cute!!! One of my favorite things about Dog Dayze is the themed events such as "Jurassic Bark", "Bark Week" and just last week "Dolly Dayze"! Every aspect of the week centers around the theme.... from the very cool decorations, to treats, to craft projects AND a FREE professional photo of my babies at the end of the week. I can only imagine how much thought and preparation goes into these special events! The General Manager and ALL the staff make it FUN for everyone, dog and human alike! There are some add on enrichment activities BUT those are OPTIONAL. Every dog in daycare participates whether the parent adds on an activity or not! Daycare prices are reasonable, comparable and may even be less - I'm not sure because I am NOT shopping for a new day care! I have no concerns about how they are cared for when they're there. When I pick up my furry babies, they are ALWAYS happy and worn out from playing all day. I would HIGHLY recommend Dog Dayze to ANYONE! Dog Dayze treats my babies like I treat my babies... with kindness, patience and LOVE!

I called this clinic to make an appointment and the lady was very nice to me and I was able to get him in....because my dog is a new patient she did explain that there would be a $50 deposit to hold the appointment...I had no problem with that because I found out that it does go toward the final bill of the visit. They checked his weight and escorted us right into the exam room. Kylie (the vet tech) was so sweet! She was so professional and Rocky was very comfortable with her handling him! When she got brought into the room, she was given a shot by Dr. Kelsey Noyes that was supposed to knock her out within a few minutes. We spoke to many dog owners and others who worked in vet clinics, and they unanimously said it should be peaceful and take 2-3 min tops. 10 minutes later, our dog was still conscious, and having a panic attack, eyes bulging out of her head, clearly nervous, half drugged from the sedative. My mother went out to the desk to tell them, only to be told dismissively it could take up to 20 minutes. By the time the doctor came back ~20 min later, the dog is still conscious in this panicked drugged state. After realizing the initial shot to knock her out didn't work, she opted to put a catheter (an IV) into her front leg and inject her with a second sedative shot through that. Several minutes went by and she was still awake, except panicking, shaking, gasping for air even more intensely. Dr. Noyas asked us if we were ready for the final shot, to which we immediately said yes, assuming it would immediately stop what we were witnessing. Well, that didn't happen. Of everyone we talked to over the last couple days, all of their dogs were completely unconscious before having the 2nd fatal shot administered. Ours wasn't, and was 10/10 panicking and terrified. Euthasol (the drug used) stops the heart and lungs. While injecting this, the catheter fell out of Diva's leg, essentially giving her a half-fatal dose while Dr. Noyas worked to re-attach it and administer the rest. For what seemed like 1-3 minutes (we all lost track of time, it felt like a dream), we watched our conscious dog violently shake, convulse, and gasp for air fighting against the effects. All the while my mother is having a panic attack crying, and my 85 year old grandmother is holding her to comfort her and stop her from falling off of the table because of the shaking. She slowly fades into stillness, at which point Dr. Noyas examines her and we're told she is gone. She gives her condolences shortly thereafter, and leaves with her assistant. We are all in complete shock and horror. We leave shortly after and stand in the parking lot for at least 20 minutes just trying to process and make sense of what we just witnessed. There was no apology, no explanation, no warning of what the 2nd fatal shot was going to do to her. I reach out to their practice email that evening asking to speak to the 2 highest people in the practice, the practice manager and the office manager. Instead of responding to my request and giving me their emails, I'm instead called Monday morning by another vet in the office to talk to me about the problem, perhaps so the news of what happened wouldn't get to their bosses and it gets dealt with there? At this point I don't know or don't care. Diva came from an abusive household, we did everything we could to give her a happy, comfortable, love-filled life. She didn't deserve to experience this. We didn't deserve to see this. We honestly feel like we have failed her by trusting her in this practice's care. I don't know whether to be furious or incredibly sad about this entire thing. It was the worst thing we have ever seen. Why was there a substantial lack of care throughout this procedure? Why did Dr. Noyas determine this method of care to be the best choice for Diva? What is being done to correct this? This was such a horrible experience for all of us. I don't want anyone else to go through this.
