Smooth use of the Yelp Waitlist tool, and staff, keep u alerted as to your turn up. List moves fast; They on it, busy, and no one out of the loop. Probably need to hire an xtra body or two, on Sat night, due to wait times.. Not painful though w the countless TVs and inside energy. Most patrons lean under 40. Their cocktail menu large & varied. The Mules and mojitos stood out; menu laden w All the essentials. Shrimp Étouffée ROCKED btw, Jacked; ask for their homemade Hotty- 'Buffalo Bring the Pain'! The food made up for the wait times ; Left the place Stuffed. Gonna try 'em on a weeknight, next time I @ the Montgomery, AL netherworld.

Where do I start?…read more Came in on a Sunday evening with my family and this place was a mess from start to finish. Nearly 30-minute wait, then seated at a dirty table that hadn't been cleared from the previous guests. Mid-way through taking our drink order, our server just... walked away. Never came back to finish. Apps came out before drinks. When my kid's Sprite arrived it was carbonated water -- when we flagged a manager, we were told they were out of Sprite. Would've been nice to know that upfront. The water I ordered never came at all. Meals were room temperature. Server never checked back in -- we had to track her down just to pay and leave. Meanwhile I watched a manager in a black polo leaning against the wall while the carpeted floors were visibly dirty. There's a saying about leaning and cleaning for a reason. Four stars on Yelp is genuinely baffling based on this experience. Two stars is generous. Won't be back, and wouldn't send anyone else here either.

Went here earlier this month on a Sunday and brought a group of 14 people right when they opened…read morefor the day. The waitress and interim chef were the sweetest and probably the best part of the visit. Honestly the food was a huge disappointment and with our large party it took a while for things to hit the table. Many people in our group got either the chicken and shrimp hibachi/flavor bowl, fried catfish, Philly cheesesteak, or turkey wings. The sides were Mac and cheese, yams, fries, collard greens, and rice. The only fresh and delicious entrees were the flavor bowl with rice and the turkey wings w/ Mac and cheese and collards which was what the waitress recommended. The honey hot old bay fried catfish and Philly were not good, at all. Most of the party who had that didn't finish their meals. The yams were burnt bad and not editable at all. The Philly tasted like it was previously frozen so hard to chew. The hot honey flavored catfish did not taste like hot honey. The Mac and cheese was good for some but not for others, depending on when it came out, taste and look was inconsistent. The chef did come out and explain that they are experiencing a transition period so he was only helping out for the day and much of the items needed for the entrees we ordered he had to wait to get them or he didn't have it so he himself was disappointed in the entrees. Only took pictures off the items that were the highlights We wouldn't come back again.

This is our 3rd time here and each time has been an interesting event. Today we were assisted by Nikki, who was very polite. Our order time was not long, and we truly enjoyed the atmosphere... The customer service was outstanding, and the product was exactly what I was looking for. "I was so pleased with the service I received from this business. They went above and beyond to help us. "I was very impressed with the quality of the food received. I ordered wings with okra and loaded potatoes hubby tried the pork chops with Mac and cheese, grilled broccoli.

I had the Lobster Spinach Queso, it was very flavorful. Was looking for more of a crunch to the chips, but otherwise very flavorful. I had the Chilean Sea Bass, w/ seasonal ancient grains and vegetables. The Chilean Sea Bass was also very flavorful, different than what I'm use to but delicious nonetheless. I believe the seasonal ancient grains and vegetables would have been better paired with some type of gravy or sauce. I also had (the best part of my meal) the 5 Layer Lemon Cake, with the blueberry topping...soooo good! The ambiance was light and celebratory! Kudos again to India! Shoutout also to her manager Chris!

In fact none of it is. My date's steak although wrapped in bacon, was extremely salty. I had the Shrimp & Grits .. and man The andouille sausage was AMAZING. Shrimp was a bit tough. But the grits? The worse plate of grits I've ever had in my life. It was utter mush, which is okay if that's how you cook it but it's supposed to be cheese grits and I didn't taste anything cheese about it. No seasoning. Grease around the edges. I literally got a little nauseous looking at it after a while because I thought of how that would upset my stomach. No offense but if you're going to claim to be this fine dining restaurant, at least put out the quality in food.. Other than that the setting and environment was pretty chill. And also cold but that's okay, it is super hot outside. We will not be returning.

I'd recommend the dark meat as it was better. I had the greens, mashed potatoes, and black eyed peas. The greens could use some salt but everything else was 10/10. The place is not the cleanest-- floors needed vacuuming, chairs were held together with duck tape.. but I pressed on hoping the food would redeem the space. Service was friendly. However, it was awkward listening to the waiter/waitresses/hostess/ kitchen staff have a conversation with each other across the entire restaurant. This was especially true after a patron sent something back and the kitchen came out loudly exclaiming that they wanted to see the food that "wasn't good enough." I had the fried chicken, greens, okra, and mashed potatoes. The chicken was fantastic. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and the tastiest fried skin/breading. That's where the goodness stops. The turnip greens were flavorless and complete mush, as though they had been sitting on the heat all day. Mashed potatoes were clearly from a box based on the consistency, color and flavor. Gravy had no flavor as well. There wasn't enough salt on the table to make it all better. The okra came out about 15min after we got our plates. It was fresh, but again, flavorless. My husband had the fried pork chop. It was just okay -- cooked well, zero flavor. Butter beans were good flavor wise, but definitely seemed to have been sitting for a while. It was odd to us that the only things you could get to drink were water, tea, lemonade, milk, and coffee. The second star is only for the chicken. I doubt we'll go back because the above experience for $50 is not worth it.
