I was confused by this presentation as well as the fruit itself. especially for calling it. "a seasonal fruit platter.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hidden gem on Malibu Beach. It's peaceful and private, and the rooms are spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable--every little convenience has already been thought of. But what truly sets this place apart is the staff. Every single person I interacted with--from the valet to the front desk to housekeeping and room service--was the definition of top-tier hospitality. They were friendly, professional, and completely focused on making your experience amazing. I've never encountered a team this consistently excellent anywhere in the world. The only real letdown was the food-- otherwise, this would be five stars it was overpriced and, unfortunately, pretty underwhelming, especially compared to how flawless everything else was. Still, that wouldn't stop me from coming back. You should visit this place. It's something special.

Amazing!! We went for happy hour and will be back to dine for sure. Great views, amazing food. Jessie the bartender is very attentive to detail, made me an awesome non- alcoholic cocktail. He had a very friendly attitude and it made for not just a great experience, but we will definitely return. Thx Malibu Beach Inn, Jessie made us your biggest fans. Kat from the valley!!

Our naturally lit, cozy room was beautifully appointed; even the robes were deliciously soft. Our first night, we ordered 3 entrees and each voted for different favorites (always a good sign). The ambiance was fantastic, the cocktails were excellent, and the food was truly outstanding. Our experience at dinner prompted our decision to stay in for breakfast and for lunch the following day - and every single dish was stunning. In fact, we even returned, post check-out, for a repeat of the veggie bowl with chicken (a must). The VIEW: imagine twinkling sunshine, a lineup of surfers catching perfect waves, the Malibu pier...all while sipping their signature drink - The Endless Summer. Simply put, heaven. Their tiny gift shop has such a great selection of candles (our favorite), clothing, prints, and essential oils. Sunscreen too, if needed. We went home with 5 candles, 2 sweatshirts and the most adorable print. The complimentary morning coffee and electric car charging were unexpected, delightful touches. After checking out, we were informed of a forgotten item via chat - they even offered to ship it to us, if we weren't able to return in-person. We couldn't have been more excited for an excuse to return. As lovers of boutique hotels and beautiful experiences, this stay exceeded even our highest expectations. Each interaction felt genuine and remarkably kind. Thank you for taking such perfect care of us, Surfrider

Ordered local NA beer and shared a steak taco while enjoying the dead on ocean and pier view. Remarkably, the place was not crowded. Frankly, haven't felt so mellow in years. A wonderful surprise.

Among the best beachfront hotel resorts with unobstructed ocean views, Nobu Ryokan Hotel was a phenomenal staycation. Priority access to local neighboring amenities, can be arranged. It is a 5 star hotel, so anything you can imagine and desire is possible with pleasure. My only focus was to decompress from the noise of current events and relax to enjoy the tranquil setting here. There rooms with the view of the zen garden and suite with direct ocean views, and direct ocean views suite was ideal for me. Simple clean modern incorporating elements of wood, steel and organic natural materials was evident throughout, very sleek and comfortable. I can only comment on my ocean view suite which was perfect. I did not hear any PCH noise or noise from the busy restaurant next door. The suite was not too large, but simple furnishings and the open floor plan, lighting and space made it appear spacious. Have dined at Nobu many times over the years, but never considered a stay here until this past weekend...Love! Loved my experience so much, I want more! Deeply Disappointing Experience After Reopening…read more My husband and I were excited to finally try the newly reopened restaurant at Campos Ranch, especially after it being members-only for several years. Unfortunately, booking a table here turned out to be a regrettable decision. Shortly after we were seated, a table of approximately ten children--ranging from toddlers to early elementary age--was placed nearby with no adult supervision at the table. Their parents were seated separately and appeared completely disengaged from what was happening. The result was nonstop chaos: children jumping on chairs, rolling on the floor, fighting at the table, and shouting throughout the dining room. At no point did any parent intervene. To be clear, this is not about children being present. It's about adults failing to manage their children in a shared public space--and, more importantly, about restaurant management allowing this behavior to continue unchecked. It showed a profound lack of consideration for the other guests who, like us, paid full price for what is supposed to be a quality dining experience. What made this especially frustrating was the complete absence of intervention from staff or management. Allowing one table to completely disrupt the dining room is disrespectful to every other guest. A restaurant--particularly one positioning itself as an elevated destination--has a responsibility to set and enforce basic standards of conduct. Overall, the evening left us feeling that courtesy, consideration, and basic dining-room etiquette were not priorities here. I strongly encourage management to rethink how situations like this are handled, because no guest should have their experience ruined by unchecked behavior at another table.

There is a strange large side yard with some old padded chairs, but it is an under utilized space. The rooms were trying hard but still could use fresh paint. The TV is Roku only when it would be super easy to add broadcast TV, so we could have watched the Oscars. I booked a super rate ($150) on a secondary pre-pay website but friends paid significantly more --$100-$150 -- for the same size room.

However, my experience took a very concerning turn when I was suddenly locked out of my room. When I went to the front desk for assistance, I was told--very loudly and in front of other guests--that I had an outstanding balance. This was both shocking and embarrassing, especially because the hotel was already holding $2,685.00 on my credit card. Despite this, I was required to make an additional payment of $1,400.00, even though I had only stayed four nights at that point. The following day, I was locked out again and told there was still a balance and that the hotel had been attempting to contact me. I later discovered they had been calling the wrong phone number. As a loyal Hilton Honors member who travels frequently and has stayed with Hilton properties many times, I found the way this situation was handled extremely unprofessional and humiliating. I am currently disputing the charges, as the hotel held $2,685.00 and I was later charged an additional $2,700.00, which appeared excessive and was never clearly explained. In addition to the billing issues, the condition of the room was disappointing. The property was dated and not well maintained, and we experienced ongoing plumbing problems, including toilets that would not flush due to apparent sewer line issues. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution when booking this property. What should have been a routine extended stay became an unnecessarily stressful and embarrassing situation that has significantly impacted my confidence in staying with Hilton in the future.
