Everyone is so polite and I'm never disappointed about the cabbies or the staff on the phone. And, they have been around forever.

Three days after Sandy every car, shuttle, and bus service in the city seems to be booked (or out of gas?). Lucky for me, Malcolm Limo picks up on the second ring and promises a car the next day. Huge relief. The driver called to confirm about 30 minutes in advance. He was punctual to a T and whisked me to La Guardia in record time: door to gate in under 45 minutes. Minus one star because the dispatcher said they take card, but the driver said otherwise. I was quoted $28 and it turned out to be $30 plus tolls. Not a huge deal, but bring cash in case. read more

After a long debacle with another car company in the middle of the night, only hours before my flight, i called Malcom Limo Express and spoke with a lovely dispatcher lady who was professional and fast. Making the reservation was easy, and they were right on time. The car was clean, the driver was professional, and we got to our destination (Newark Airport) at 6am without a hitch. I just wanted to say an extra special THANK YOU FOR COMING THROUGH FOR US when all other car services scrambled, cancelled, or decided to screw over all of their customer reservations and not show up. This was in the wake of Hurricane Sandy and there was a major gas shortage, airports were diverting flights, and everything was a mess. The one thing in the Tri-State area that had their stuff together was Malcom and their excellent drivers. Called them at 10pm on a weeknight - they were there in literally 5 minutes. Helped load several suitcases. Stopped at an ATM of my choice because I didn't have cash. Drove from Harlem to Astoria for 30-something dollars including tolls, which is way less than a yellow cab would have cost. Not 5 stars only because he kind of got lost in Queens, but since they gave me a flat price and no meter it didn't matter. Will use again! read more

After having an amazing dinner, I hail down a cab which so happens to be Malcolm limo express. The driver had a problem with 5 people in his car. 3 adults and 2 small children. Granted 1 adult got another cab. The driver was on the phone the whole ride speaking in his language.. Gave off the most unfriendliness vibe ever. This is why people request Uber! Never again will I spend $ on this cab company! I wouldn't give any stars, they need to learn more about customer service! read more

Great car service! Great drivers and great rates. Yup, that's a lot of greats. When the shoe fits. Know the address and cross streets of where you need a car to pick you up before you call. Ive used their service consistently to get to La Guardia from Upper Manhattan and I am a fan. I usually call the day/night before my flight and always am able to get a car. You call dispatch and they take down your information. Day of my flight the car arrives and the driver calls you to let you know they are waiting outside. Ive always found every driver to be nice, professional, and help you with your bags. The cars are usually Lincoln Town cars (usually gold for some reason haha) and while they are not new they are kept in decent condition and clean. They are very prompt! They usually arrive 5 minutes before or right the scheduled time. I believe this is cash only! The prices are on par for what around a yellow cab is but they pick you up. It is a flat fee + tip. Ask dispatch for what the price will be. Cant beat that deal. read more

I called on Sunday for Wednesday pick up from Newark. I was told to call when I had my luggage and they would send a car within 30 minutes. So I called upon arrival and was told that they had NO car that could pick me up. Terrible service and major attitude on the phone........it is New York. read more

They say 3 minutes, and they mean it! If they are there in 5 minutes, that's late for them. Car is always clean, driver is usually friendly, if not always familiar with where we're going (to be fair, I've taken them to LGA, to brooklyn, to astoria, to south ferry, etc) Bring Cash. I needed to go to JFK airport and leave at 4am the night of St. Patrick's Day (totally chose the wrong day to try and hail a cab). I had totally forgotten about the hordes of drunken people that would be trying to get a cab so I called ahead. I called at about 9:45pm and was helped immediately. Price was discussed (one-way for $45 + tolls) and they even gave me the number of the car coming to pick me up. Best part was that when I woke up around 3:30am, the taxi cab was already waiting outside my building! Driver was courteous and efficient and I arrived at JFK with no problems. This will be my go-to company for any airport ride. read more

I'm sure this company is excellent and I was looking forward to using them but I called to make a reservation and found out that they do not take credit cards! I wonder how much money this company has lost because of this. This is not good business especially since car rides to JFK are over $100 round trip. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! I booked a ride for June 15th to New Jersey airport at 0545 in morning, the dispatcher was so helpful & polite even wishing me a safe trip. My driver "Fode" car # 48 (I believe) called me the night before to confirm ride and showed up early the next morning. It was a very rainy morning and he drove safe and even got me there early! Fode helped me with my luggage and was so polite. I will definitely use them every time I visit NY and suggest Malcolm to all my friends & family. Wow the girl on the phone is a major B****. I called to find out how much for a car from The Plaza Hotel to JFK, she was completely rude and unjustified when I was super polite. She yelled at me out of no where when I had literally said one sentence. She started yelling saying: "What plaza hotel! I don't know no plaza hotel I know addresses!!!" I said "The Plaza hotel at the bottom of Central Park on 5th Ave" I'm sorry but if you run phones for a car service how do you not know one of the most famous hotels in manhattan? Regardless, Literally the worst customer service on the planet to yell at a potential customer for no reason what so ever. All she had to say was "To be able to give you a quote I'm going to need the address of the hotel" IN A NICE TONE and I would have looked it up- not that hard. Think this girl is in the wrong line of work. They just lost a customer all because of her unjustified attitude problem and you can be sure Ill be telling others not to use them as well. read more

I saw the reviews online and decided to call Malcolm Express. They don't do reservations but if you call when you need them someone will come in three minutes. And it's significantly cheaper than any other companies. If you live in Harlem or the Heights I would definitely recommend giving them a call! read more

Really great and reliable neighborhood operation. When I called around to other car services in the neighborhood, I quickly found out that they have the best prices, so started to use them. The drivers have always been on time or early whether I've made a reservation or called on the fly. I did have one bad situation where the driver didn't know what terminal my airline was at, so just dropped me at one which turned out to be the wrong one. I immediately called Malcolm and the dispatcher took care of it right away sending him back to take me to the right place. The dispatchers are always professional and courteous. read more

I needed to get a car to take me to a few places on Monday last week since it was too hot to run around. Since there aren't many yellow cabs in the Harlem area, I thought it would be best to contact this place being so close to my apartment. I'm glad I called this service. I had to go to a few places on the UES and in Midtown West and I didn't have much time to spare. I called Malcom and they sent a car to my apartment within a few minutes of calling. The driver was very professional and patiently waited as I went in and out doing errands. They charged by the hour ($40 per hour) rather than by mileage and I paid $36 including tip for my trip, which took about 45 minutes. I know a yellow cab would have been far more expensive to take the same trip. I'm pretty sure Malcom serves all of NYC, but I highly recommend them if you're in Harlem and in need of quick and reliable car service. read more
