I'm 48 years old! This is the first time I've ever taken the time out of my life to write a review…read more Let me start off by saying I'm absolutely appalled. I stopped in today with the intention of getting an appraisal on my wedding ring for insurance purposes. Living in a county that doesn't require masks, and working from home, I don't think to bring one with me. After I was buzzed in I mentioned I did not have a mask and she asked me to go back outside and she would slip one through the door. Ok understandable. Once inside I mentioned since my county doesn't require a mask I didn't think to bring one. She than proceeded to condemn MY choice not to wear one when not mandated, more than once. Masked, I tried to hand her my ring, which she wouldn't touch without gloves, then backed up about 10 feet. Even though it's not her place to judge me I probably wouldn't be writhing this review if she didn't out right lie to me. Remember I only went there for a $75 appraisal. She then proceeded to tell me my ring had a lot of wear and tear. She asked if I wear my ring all the time. I responded of course, it's my wedding ring. She with a condescending tone said she can tell. Whatever that meant. I'm writing this review because of what happened next. She said my ring needed thousands of dollars in repairs or I will start losing stones. I took my ring and stated I was getting second opinion. I took my ring to a very reputable jeweler in Bellevue with decades of experience that said my ring was very solid and didn't need any repairs. Based on my previous advice I questioned his assurance. This professional then showed me my ring under the microscope and pointed out how sturdy my ring was. If she wasn't snarky and condescending I might have been out thousands of unnecessary dollars. With the pandemic and small business owners struggling I definitely expected more. Shame on you. Buyer be ware. Don't let this place be your one stop shop get a second opinion.

I would highly recommend Bergman's to anyone in Omaha. Purchased my fiancees engagement ring here…read moreand the service was fantastic. They are very helpful and are happy to answer all of your questions. They do a good job of taking away any stress you might have in the process. My fiancee loves her ring and we're looking forward to going back in the near future. Ask for Martha if she's available.

I do not buy a lot of jewerly but when I do, I have purchased it at Greenbergs in Sioux City. I…read morehave established some great relationships there. The staff is always extremely nice and very helpful when looking to pick something out. I have never felt pressured to buy anything when looking at the store. In fact, I recently purchased an engagement ring. I had my mind set on some certain criteria in a ring such as size, cut, and color. After picking out the band, Jeff had some diamonds shipped in to look at for the center mount. I heavily learned on their expertise and eyes to select the right diamond. If we would would have stayed in the range of my criteria, they would have probably got $5,000 more dollars out of me on the purchase. I took their recommendation and it was an incredibly beautiful ring and it saved me a lot of money. I compared the diamond that I was purchasing to prices on sites like Blue Nile. Where you can specify the size, cut, color, etc... The price I paid was better than any on-line store and I got to hold and see the ring under the right lights. I can't thank them enough for their service and professionalism. I personally trust them no matter the amount of the purchase. I hope to never buy another engagement ring again. However, they have some beautiful jewerly otherwise. The only place that I will shop due to proven service and relationships.

So much for Greenberg's Repair Service, I Purchased a $1300 ring from GB several years ago, took…read moreinto store today to have it resized, which I fully intended on paying for. The only reason I even went there is because that is where the ring was purchased and the last time I sent it in to have it re-rhodiumed they polished the setting a little too much and really changed the appearance of the setting, so I wanted to see if that could be repaired as well. (yes... I still have all my receipts and amazingly, I also have the sales catalog that shows my ring) The saleswomen took my ring in the back room (supposedly to have their onsite goldsmith look at it) and returned rather quickly I would say no more than a couple minutes later and told me that my ring could not be resized. I was given a lame excuse for the reason. (this ring has a solid band in the back with no diamond setting in that area) so I took it to two other jewelers in the same mall, they both couldn't see any reason why GB said it couldn't be resized, so I am having a Greenberg's competitor do the work for me. I have purchased many pieces from Greenberg's over the years, but after today I will never buy another thing from them. The customer service has greatly decreased since they closed the Mall of the Bluff's location. That's okay though. Moving forward, I'll just buy my jewelry elsewhere. I mean who wants to buy from a jewelry store that refuses to fix their own merchandise. The service at Westroad's has much to be desired. If I could give them zero stars It would be more fitting to their service. I sure wish I could figure out how to contact GB's corporate office; I would surely love to hear what they have to say....ugh!!!!

I didn't know where to start, my now fiancé and I went to your known retail jewelry stores and we got her sized, but I am one who will always shy away if my experience with any business is similar to a new/used car lot visit. I needed a custom piece because my fiancé was given some heirloom Diamond and we needed to get those into a new design/new ring. I'm not sure how I ended up finding the Diamond experience, but after calling a few other places ,to then reach the wonderful Lucie...I immediately knew I had found the jeweler who could help me on this journey. Lucie had great communication along the way and is a brilliant smart individual! Can't recommend enough. My only feedback to anyone considering is that you should be prepared to give Lucie some time to do her work! It's worth any wait!

Lucie got a good sense of my price range and what kinds of cuts and designs I though my soon-to-be wife would like and she searched for and brought in several of the most beautiful diamonds I have seen...and I looked a lot. Lucie brought my ideas to fruition in the most beautiful way possible and was eager to make several changes and adjustments. Lucie is an academic gemologist, jewelry designer, and an absolutely delightful person who has published papers on gems and made pieces for some famous people you would have heard of. What she was able to create for me was perfect. I spent the exact amount I intended and I got an extremely fair deal. Above all, my wife loves her ring and continues to get complements all the time. I of course went back for my band. Meet Lucie and you won't be disappointed.
