It's expensive I guess. There is no discount card like Foodland has.

We were in the area and were thirsty, so we decided to stop in and pickup a drink at Malama Market. While there is a small selection of grocery items, the drink selection is strong. I had a can of Hawaiian Lilikoi Lychee Soda, which was very delicious. I would come back here again if I was in the area. There is a decent amount of parking in the private lot.

When I walked in, I saw sliced watermelon on ice...then off to the fried chicken and ordered salt and vinegar wings. The poke looked awesome, just made, debating to get a poke bowl... next time

I keep seeing the locals wear these shoes and I totally wanted to get them because every single pair of shoes that I took to Hawaii just did not work. Never take new shoes to Hawaii rookie move! Anyways I ended up not getting in my best friend got them turns out they weren't a good pair of shoes for him . They have a little balls at the bottom that are supposed to stimulate all your pressure points . Which probably sounds like something that I can deal with but not him. This is one of the local market in the north shore. Surrounded by restaurants shops I mean just really a full day of looking around!

Called from the mainland to have a birthday cake made for my husband's birthday that we were celebrating on the North shore in a few weeks. I picked a design online and talked to the manager Julie and she gave me her cellphone number to text her a picture of the cake. I ordered the plastic pieces online and brought them with me to Hawaii. I paid for the cake and took the pieces to the store. Picked up my cake and it was exactly like I had requested and looked great. Very impressed with the service, price and taste of the cake.

I always love the Hawaiian markets because I think they carry some of the best poke. This place did not disappoint. I bought a poke bowl from here for only $8 and it included rice with 2 scoops of poke. The poke tasted fresh and it was a great meal to enjoy while at the beach in the North Shore.

It's like a Mini Foodland grocery store in Haleiwa. You get your groceries and go. If you like, get some Delicious Poke, pokebowls, fried chicken, and musubis. This market is located in the heart of Haleiwa town.

I don't give out a ton of five star ratings but this one must be taken into account that I'm judging Malama against all the other markets and convenience stores in the area. If you want poke they have it, can openers, wine, pork sausages, oysters, foot cream and beer.... basically if you need it they have it. So for that reason they deserve a five star review

Malama means to "take care of" and this market will take care of all your needs in Hale'iwa Town, if you don't feel like driving North to Foodland almost in Kahuku. I stopped by here while I was waiting for take out at Spaghettini to buy some desserts. I also stopped by to buy a lei for my Anake (Auntie)http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=92162NmincFAGF6WqLtB_g&userid=o1_sfJ71nrq5QrF00v3Icw . It was her 25th Wedding Anniversary the next day. Malama looks like a traditional market, on a smaller scale. They sell groceries, meats and poke. The staff are friendly and efficient. However, there is a price to be paid for convenience. Prices are higher compared to Foodland. In addition, the store is popular as evidenced by the busy parking lot.

Northshore is the best shore. Location location location. I love that Ray's broiled chicken is in their parking lot. Sure helps bring in lots of business. It also helps that their workers are enthusiastic and makes people smile. They have lots of hot foods and other local goodies.

Long's in Haleiwa…read more.. The place that we love to shop for all necessities is here at Long's, which is now owned by CVS hence the biz name here on Yelp but here in Hawai'i it will always be known as Long's. A place to stock up on the various wants and needs of our daily needs are found here through the weekly Sunday ads keeping it cost friendly for generations along with shopping for gifts and celebrations are found here and being miles away from town I'm sure is the place for many locals shop. Parking here is amazing in comparison from the general Haleiwa location is never gonna be a problem lots of free parking regardless the size of your car and though the roof seemed to be suffering from the recently downpour of rain hoping it all can get fixed so that we can continue to appreciate the staff and what it has to offer this community. Thank you!

Haleiwa Long's CVS Pharmacy is local to many of us here on the North Shore. It has everything you…read moreneed from meds to snacks and small Meal Prep items. It's rather convenient but a little more expensive due to the touristy area. It's my go to for prescriptions, vaccinations and other health care options. The entire staff here is friendly and they work so hard keeping the lines moving. They've added the new self checkouts but many aren't ready for that yet. So you still see the long lines. I love the self check out. If you're headed to the beach and need supplies and drinks, stop by your local CVS in Haleiwa.

In CA you don't really see 711 as places to stop by and get food - more so snacks and what not…read more However this 7/11 has a variety of actually foods, hot and cold! Their musubi is great for a 711. Actually one of my favs. I love pulling to the side of the road and getting hot fresh food for a pretty drive around Hawaii. They have so many options, I recommend getting a little of everything and having a little picnic somewhere. My fav 7/11!

Don't sleep on 7-11's in Hawaii - as a mainlander, I think they are worth stopping by since they…read moreare very different. The food you can buy from here is actually decent, especially the musubis. They have some hot foods at the front with options like rice plates, pasta, and manapuas. They also have cold options like sushi and sandwiches, or meals that can be reheated. The slushies are different here too, as they have Hawaiian flavors like butter mochi and pineapple, and even the coffee machine has a matcha latte option. We stocked up on food before heading to the airport, and it held up well for dinner on the way home... - Spam Katsu Musubi: Who doesn't love a good musubi? 7-11 is no exception to the rule, as the spam katsu musubi was a nice variation from the usual. It has a nice texture with the panko, and the rice was cooked just right too! - Spicy Shrimp Katsu Roll: My favorite thing from the 7-11... shrimp was tasty with the rice, and it had a nice kick to it. Honestly I could have 2 of these on the beach and call it a meal. - Ahi Poke Stuffed Inari: These were pretty cheap ($7) and honestly were at par (if not better) at some places in the Bay Area where I've paid $15. I love these inari that get stuffed with poke... in this case it was spicy poke, and like the musubis the rice was cooked well. - PB + J: Husband was amused by the pre-packaged sandwiches so we tried his fav combo. Honestly tastes better than some Smucker's Uncrustables. I imagine their other sandwiches would hold up in quality, and they had other interesting flavors. Beyond the ready to eat stuff. the snacks were also worth checking out. They have different ice creams and very different candy options... I ended up buying some as souvenirs to take home. Fun Fact: 7-11's in Hawaii are under the same management as the ones in Japan, so their product offerings are very different!
