Super cute place on our day trip to North Shore. Plenty of macadamia nut samples to choose from- sweet and savory! We ended up buying a few bags to bring home. My personal favorites were the cinnamon macadamia nuts and the coconut crusted macadamia nuts. They also have samples of coffee! Chickens and roosters are freely roaming the property along with friendly cats. Definitely check this place out when you're in the area!

So happy we stumbled upon this adorable macadamia nut farm! The whole place has such a peaceful, zen vibe, surrounded by all kinds of beautiful trees and big, shady greenery. It's the perfect little escape to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. They've also adopted all the stray cats, so don't be surprised if you're introduced to one of the farm's "CEOs." Apparently, they run the place! We got to sample all the macadamia nut flavors they offer, and our favorite was the coconut macadamia. So good! We bought few bags to offer as gift. And the coffee... TO DIE FOR! Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

Terrible beans, tasted nothing like the samples they gave. Very deceiving.

Be aware, they sample you coffee that is supposed to be from beans they sell. They likely add a bunch of sweeteners to it to make it taste good. We brewed the coffee beans they provided a few different ways and each time tasted like dirt. The property is very nice and macadamia nuts were good. Just annoyed they needed to spike their coffee with something to get you to purchase their beans.

We had intended to go to the craft fair across the street but there were too little tents so we changed our mind. Before coming to Haleiwa I was browsing on YELP and saw this business. When we saw the sign we did a U-ey and entered. On the right there is a business that has not only samples of Mac nuts in assorted flavors but also oils and other products, old photos for sale and their 4 cats.

I have so many good things to say about this spot! It is a must go to place if you are located near the north shore or visiting. The owner was super friendly and explained how macadamia nuts were formed and sourced. She went into detail about the products which helped us decide what to get! They also have free samples of all the different flavors of nuts they offer! On top of nuts, they have lotions, pain creams, honey, accessories, chocolate, etc. Many options to choose from. They have about 20 rescue cats located around the land, which are super friendly. She let us pet the cats! After getting our products, we were able to walk around the property and see the macadamia trees and other local plants/trees!

What a cute little place. Normally, our tours take us to a different shop, so it was nice to visit a new one. Time one seems smaller, but they have some delicious nuts and plenty of samples. My favorite is always the Maui onion flavor. The kids liked the little animals running around outside, the cats and the chickens. They also have many other fun souvenirs, but I was a bit sad the shave ice was closed.

One of our favorite stops- best virgin pina colada you'll ever have- and I managed bars and bartended for 15 plus years. It's really good. We stop here each year just for a few of those and the coconut juice in the shell thing with the meat. It's really fun and healthy, too! The man who makes these and who's always here is really friendly and nice! Highly recommend!

Coffee beans! Ground or whole bean

We had to stop by this small macadamia shop and get some nuts on our way around Oahu. There's samples in front of each flavor so you can try before you buy. We picked up these 2 flavors: Garlic Maui Onion Roasted and Caramel Roasted. We also got plain salted as well which was great to snack on. They also have coffee! They sell it whole bean or ground. We picked up 1 bag whole bean of the Kona Macadamia Vanilla Coffee. It smells so heavenly!!!

Stopped here while on the way to haleiwa town. They give samples a mac nuts which are good. The Maui onion was awesome. They have a lot of other products and there were other little coconut and shaved ice stands outside. There is a plenty of parking

Stopped here during an all-day tour of the island, and it felt a bit off the beaten path -- especially coming from Waikīkī -- but that's part of the charm. It's definitely more spread out and laid-back than the touristy areas. Sampling all the macadamia nuts was fun (even though not everyone was super clean about it lol), and I loved being able to try the coffee too before buying. The workers were generally friendly and helpful. I ended up grabbing four bags of macadamias plus some coffee to bring back for my parents -- perfect gifts. Overall, a solid stop if you're already exploring the North Shore and want snacks and treats that feel very Hawaii.

When with friends or family on the North Shore I often include this stop. First of all the grounds are beautiful, lush and green with open air store placed among the foliage. Actual Macadamia nut trees grow close by in a very natural layout. It feels like old Hawaii with friendly domestic cats with lei collars and random chicken wondering around. There is nut tasting with multiple different tastings. They also have coffee tasting. The store also offers local products and great take home gifts for tourist and locals alike. The Hawaiian woman on staff brings the feel of Aloha to the shop and I always enjoy speaking with her. Everyone I've taken there have always found something to purchase and enjoyed the stop as part of their island tour.

Stopped by North Shore Macadamia before we went home and I am so glad we did :-) I purchased coffee beans and macadamia nuts for family and friends. There was a huge variety of macadamia nuts + coffee bean flavors you can purchase. I loved how they let us sample whatever we wanted & the staff were super friendly too. Also loved how there were lots of cute little chickens roaming around :') will be back soon.

    Cats!

Oh what an amazing place! Come for the macadamia nuts and pet the two dozen cats! You can't take them home but they are SO friendly!

Tried the locally made lilikoi pie and it was very delicious and refreshing with immaculate ingredients. They had a chocolate one too that I wanted to try but didn't get a chance to. Hopefully they have it next year when we're back for our 5th annual trip! They also carry Alexandre Family Farms dairy which is very hard to find on the island. It's the only place I've seen it at on Kauai. We tried a little locally made gourmet truffle that was rich and yummy. They also sell locally made sourdough bread loaves and focaccia that we love! I've visited their location in Koloa and liked it as well. There's always a nice lady checking us out no matter when we go or which location we go to. Thank you to all at Hoku Foods!

I've always like the location of this store with the huge parking lot & how clean & well-stocked the store is. The eating area is good sized with a pizza bar, hot soup & food bar, & salad bar. For made to order food, there's a coffee bar with baked goods, sandwiches & burgers, wok bowls, and smoothies. Lots to choose from. We came mainly to try the new promotional mac nut haupia smoothie. It comes in one size only, 16 oz and pricey at $11.99. The drink is ono but I think the toasted coconut made it too sweet. The haupia would have been enough to give the drink that coconut taste. We each ordered the black bean & beet burger - my fave! It's very tasty & a good sized sandwich with toppings of your choice, very filling. I also ordered from the salad bar, the kale & beet salad - another fave! It's the only way I'll eat kale. Over the years I've tried a lot of their food. The baked goods are even better than Starbucks, especially the banana bread & the blueberry scones. Ordering is easy from the kiosks set up in the food area. Since it's all cooked to order, not fast food so it does take a few minutes wait time. Down to Earth is a great place to get some healthy, tasty food, give them a try!
