I was mentally prepared not to put a ton of stuff in my bowl as I didn't want to end up paying $50 since the cost is per weight. I got a few pieces of the veggies, udon noodles, and some chicken thighs. I was debating between chicken broth vs Thai soup and ended up with the Thai soup which was flavorful. You get two containers for sauces. I piled up on garlic, cilantro, and green onions in one and then made a dipping sauce in the other. The soup came out boiling which makes sense because they had to cook that chicken perfectly. Everything was so yummy. I felt the sauce was definitely needed, for saltiness and spice. I stopped into this restaurant for dinner. It was located inside the food court. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I ordered to dishes: Spinach, beans sprouts, Udon, Corn, Potato, Crabmeat Sticks, Shrimp with Signature beef broth Green Leaf Letuce, Egg ramen, Whitaker Mushroom, corn, Wagu, fatty beef with Sichuan Style Broth It took about 10 minutes each. It was spicier than I expected, even though I chose the mild level!  To cool off the spice, I got their old Beijing yogurt (老北京酸奶). It is creamy, slightly tangy, and not too sweet. So good I could drink it every day. ＊Sukiyaki Soup Base 壽喜燒湯底 If you're sensitive to heat, their sukiyaki broth is a great option. They also offer other soup bases like beef bone broth, tom yum, and tomato. The meat quality is top-notch, and they refresh the toppings regularly with new batches. We've been here many times and always had a good experience, until tonight. I'm not sure what went wrong but my food was served to eat there and then they had to repackage it as I asked for it to go. When I got home, our bowls felt extremely light. I know with absolute certainty I added tripe, squid and enoki to my husband's bowl and yet he didn't see any of those items in his bowl as he was eating. You can pick your own ingredients and soup base. They'll cook it and a beeper will notify when it's ready. I recommend getting the fattier beef options so it isn't as tough. They charge by weight, so tofu and veggies will be expensive. There's a lot of sauces and dipping toppings on the side to add on.
