Tiffany really nails the soft-glam look for makeup. It's very flattering but you still look like you. She's a pro for this What bothered me the most is she didn't mention she had a minimum until after she did my trial. It's not on her website and not in the informational email. In order to meet the minimum, we decided to add my mom and MIL into the schedule but this ended up changing our whole timeline for the morning at the last minute and, I had to wake up way earlier than I planned since she said it would take too long to set up at the Airbnb they were at, but OK. I did a trial with her a week before my wedding and the teasing really damaged my hair, I could barely brush it. My hair looked great during the first look, but it really didn't hold, and even by the ceremony it was falling out. Similarly, my MIL also had curls done and I noticed it didn't hold up either. Lastly, she overslept my trial (which she was very apologetic for). She offered a small discount, but I didn't really feel like it compensated for me taking the day off, spending a whole day driving to San Jose, waiting an hour, driving back, and then rescheduling. She was about 15 minutes late arriving to our venue, but it didn't end up setting our schedule back.

I don't think I could have trusted anyone else to ensure that I was looking my best. A couple of months before the wedding, during a trial, we talked about color, natural looks, and what I'd feel comfortable with. She cleaned up my brows and made suggestions for what would look best for my big day, including what kind of lashes would work best for me. Her consultation was really professional and made me feel comfortable. With her guidance, I ordered what she recommended and, of course, for my actual wedding day, I left everything at home instead of bringing them to the hotel!! Omg... thankfully, Linh had extras of everything I'd need. She made it work, including back up lashes, and told me not to panic. The customer service, preparedness, kindness, and care really helped to make my day go smoothly. I can't believe I blanked out on such important stuff, but she had me covered. She even helped one of my bridesmaids when that wasn't part of the original plan. I had a truly great day, and it helped to have Linh start my morning off right. Her comforting smile and calm demeanor was such a welcome. Thanks Linh!!

I've tried and gone to endless brow places (in the East Bay, SF and along the Peninsula) over the last ten years - tried everything from just tweezing, waxing and threading - some have been great, some have been not so great. But none have understood me and my brows like Lyn does. She has a knack and eye for natural beauty and seriously brings out the best in your features. My most recent brow experience before going to Lyn left my brows in a disastrous state. Too thin and uneven. As someone with thick and dark brows, it was truly an insecure and vulnerable place to be in. So, again, I was in search of my next brow person. I've always admired Lyn's work on Instagram, so was so excited to see that she was offering appointments again. I signed up for a 'Full Brow Transformation'. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, but I could not be happier with Lyn, the entire experience or how my brows turned out. The second picture is with my brows filled in, but even without them filled in, they look fantastic. She is very talented, listens to you, and manages to make you look like a glammed up version of yourself for the big day. She has several packages to choose from, and she offers trials as well. I sent her links to my pinterest page, and she was able to get the look I was going for. I was a little concerned that the hair and makeup may not last until the wee hours of the night, but they did! So well in fact, that I had panda eyes when I tried to wash everything off, haha. Throughout the day, I had to re-touch the undereye with q-tips and YSL touch eclat, but that's pretty par for the course. The hair looked as good at the end of the night as it did in the morning for the first look. I'll attach a photo during one of the wardrobe changes, which shows my hair around 8 hours later. She gets back to you in a reasonable of time, is responsible and shows up punctually (I had a 6 am start, so this was important), and most importantly, is really good at what she does. Bonus that she was able to help lace up my corset and get me into my dress. She's a pro at veils and explaining to your party how to swap the veil for the comb as well. Plus, she's really nice and pleasant, which is helpful when you're stressed out. She packs a touch up kit for you, which has trial/deluxe products that you may need, which was a lovely bonus. Anyway, I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a hair and MUA!

Few days before our appointment, she reminded me to shampoo my hair and condition the ends - not the scalp. Love the instructions! Come the day of our appointment: I asked her to come to my home for a small travel fee, and she arrives on time. So considerate that she parked on the curb instead of the driveway! She strikes up a great conversation with my mother ; I'm more of a listener than a talker - haha! Jessie finishes my updo within an hour and I love it. It's exactly what I asked for. I appreciate that she used more Bobby pins than hairspray, so washing my hair won't be as difficult later. She hid the Bobby pins incredibly well. She brought all the materials, though I recommend you provide the extension cord, power strip, and mirror if you ask her to come to your home. Thank you, Jessie! Highly recommended.
