Thania had appointments booked back to back, and while I really appreciate how hard she works, my appointment felt super rushed. I paid $135 for a blowout and straightening, but she was working on my hair and another client's hair at the same time (switching back and forth with her assistant). I made it clear from the start that if my inspo wasn't doable, I'd be happy to choose something else and she said it was possible but I ended up getting a blowout with just straightener touch-ups on the roots, as it was the only way to match the inspo. This wasn't what we initially agreed on, but I didn't want to change the inspo to avoid causing heat damage to my hair. My hair looked fine at first, but since it's naturally curly, it only lasted about a day and a half, even though she said it would last longer. Overall, I think Thania is pretty talented, but for $135 (before tip), I expected a more focused service and longer lasting results instead of a rushed appointment that is shared with other clients.

I did research and stumbled upon Jennifer! I was quite nervous about the process, the semi-permanence of it and level of pain tolerance. I just didn't know what to expect but a friend had nano brow done and recommended it. Jennifer was very patient with my questions. We did a consultation and then I came in for the procedure. Her salon is clean and pretty. Like many, I was nervous with how dark my brows looked at first but trust Jennifer! They will fade after the healing process and get lighter. Then the brows really look natural. My pain tolerance is probably on the lower end and I thought it was overall tolerable. Some areas there was little discomfort; some areas on your brows there's more discomfort if it's a sensitive area. After a week later, I came back to do lash lift and I am so glad that I did! I am Asian and my straight lashes actually curl up now! No pain or discomfort with this procedure. Love the lash lift and plan to touch up every 8 weeks. About 7 weeks after my first nano procedure, I went back for the brow touch up session and another lash lift. Overall, I'm thrilled that I found Jennifer for my brow and lashes services! She's so lovely and easy to talk to. You will love working with her! It's worth it!
