I found Giovanissa on Yelp and booked her for my marriage anniversary photoshoot. Two days before the photoshoot my photographer had to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances. Giovanissa was very nice and understanding, she kindly rescheduled me. Makeup was nice, but it felt like she was very tired and in rush (which is understandable since I squeezed into her busy schedule) in the middle of the photoshoot my eyelash fell out and I did not have the glue to fix it. (and I told her during the make up that I felt that eyelash was not going to hold). I also had to reapply lipstick because it was not applied correctly. Lastly, she does not use a new brushes for make up. Giovanissa did my makeup yesterday afternoon before I headed out to a book signing. After having my makeup done, I looked like I could have been on the cover of Vogue. It was that amazing. She did a dark smokey eye that matched my navy blue dress with a nude lip. I have had smokey eyes done in the past and it made my eyes look tiny and biddy. Giovanissa made my eyes look amazing! I booked her a few months in advance and she was always completely accommodating and professional from Day 1. She asked me to send her some photos of the looks I was interested in for makeup and hair.
