Do not use this service…read more I got married last week. I booked an at home hair appointment on my wedding day through PRIV, got a confirmation, all seemed well. The morning of my wedding I sat around waiting for the stylist to show up. I texted him through the app with no response. Finally, a half hour after the scheduled time he responds with "sorry i got locked out of my account." I'm confused, naturally, and ask him if we're still all set for our appointment. He takes another fifteen minutes to tell me that he had an emergency and can't make it. Things happen, I completely understand, I'm not upset at the stylist and I genuinely hope everything is alright with him, however for a wedding day style, the company needs to have a backup ready to go. They did not. The company texted me and told me they were trying to find a replacement, and then asked when the latest time one could show up. I still needed to get my makeup done, get dressed, eat and get to our venue, so I told them that if someone couldn't be at my house within the hour that we needed to cancel. They obviously didn't find anyone on that short of notice, and so I had to do my own hair for my wedding. Their version of reparations was a $150 credit (keep in mind this was a $300 appointment). I obviously will not be using this service again so the credit is useless. Do not use PRIV, especially in the case of an important event. They have no backup plan if your stylist cancels last minute.
