Amy and her assistant did a fantastic job at my clients' wedding this past weekend! She was responsive via text leading up to the day, and came super prepared, which is such a blessing for a wedding planner! The brides looked like goddesses and were just beaming. Highly recommend Amy for your big day! read more

Amy was an absolute joy to work with. She was a recommendation from a friend, and when I initially reached out to her, she was professional, prompt, and even offered to do a phone call with me so we could get a feel for each other. I don't typically wear much makeup and I've had... mediocre experiences with wedding makeup in the past as part of the bridal party. I voiced these concerns to Amy during my trial, and together we came up with a game plan for a look that made me feel gorgeous while still looking like me. On the Big Day, Amy and her second makeup artist were on-time and simply flew through all the bridesmaids. We were ahead of the timeline the whole morning, which helped start the day on a more relaxing note. I was thrilled with my final look; my hair and makeup lasted literally all night, except for the lip gloss (which is normal, and she provided a touch up for, which was perfect!). I truly can't recommend Amy enough for future brides! read more

Amy did my bridal makeup and hair. Plus 5 other women's hair that were in my wedding party. From the very beginning she was extremely helpful through email and very detailed with her services. We did a trial a couple months before my wedding and I'm glad we did because it turned out I wanted everything completely different from what I had at the trial. I explained everything thoroughly through email on what I wanted to change and she was very supportive and understanding. On the day of the wedding she was on time with everyone and even had some extra time afterwards for touch ups. My hair & makeup lasted so well throughout the day no need for touch ups. Amy was wonderful and experienced; it obviously shows in her work. Thank you Amy from the bottom of my heart for making me feel beautiful and looking amazing on my wedding day. read more

Amy and her assistant did an amazing job for my makeup and hair as well as the makeup and hair for my mom and bridesmaids on my wedding day this past August! They showed up early and had an organized setup. They got everything done right on time, and Amy knew exactly what to do for the "staged" getting ready photos that the photographer needed. For the process leading up to the wedding day, Amy was always super responsive, and she was very helpful during my hair and makeup trial. I was nervous about looking too made-up and not like my true self, and she did a beautiful job meeting all my needs. I was so happy with how I looked! She also is more reasonably priced compared to other wedding hair and makeup artists, and her quality is amazing! I would recommend Amy and her team to anyone for their wedding. read more

Amy and her assistant did wedding make up and hair for me, my mom, and six bridesmaids. She was very open to feedback after our trial and maintained prompt and clear communication from booking to the actual big day. I liked that she uses individual lashes (instead of strip) because my overall makeup look stayed put even after a couple of lashes fell off from all the joyful tears. Our whole group looked so good thanks to Amy and her team! read more

Amy and her assistants did makeup for my wedding. Amy was wonderful to work with -- she made every step of my planning process go smoothly, and was very accommodating with some last minute service changes. I had a large bridal party, plus I included my mom, and mother in law in our makeup morning. Amy and her team not only did an incredible job and made everyone look beautiful, but they were so efficient that we were an hour ahead of schedule, which was a huge relief for all of us! We were able to enjoy a relaxing morning, which none of us expected for the morning of a wedding! Everyone felt beautiful, and Amy did a great job of giving us a balance of looking both natural and glammed. Plus, our hair and makeup lasted all day/night long (about 12-16 hours!). I'm so grateful to Amy and her team for making us all look and feel great! read more

I hired Amy to do hair and makeup for me and 3 of my bridesmaids for my wedding and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! During my hair and makeup trial, I showed Amy just a few photos for inspiration. She turned around and executed flawlessly, and she did everything so quickly! I took photos throughout the day, so I could show her how everything lasted and she was really receptive to any feedback that I shared with her. When it came to the day of, she was communicative and punctual. We got started right away and she did all of our hair and makeup so beautifully. My girlfriends also loved her because she was easy-going and easy to talk to! It really made the whole getting ready process so much more fun. All of our hair and makeup lasted throughout the night, which says a lot because there were lots of tears shed during the ceremony, the speeches, and even at the end. I actually lost a few eyelashes because my dad's speech made me cry so hard, but thankfully Amy had put individual lashes on all of us so it didn't ruin the whole look! Amy is professional, prompt and so talented! She is the best--I highly recommend her! read more

My wedding has been rescheduled around 3 times due to Covid. Every time we luckily were able to work together on the new date. Every time I offered her a new deposit and she would say it's not needed, I appreciated that. The reason I'm giving her 2 stars is because when I asked to reschedule once more she let me know that she was busy on this new date and asked if it was set in stone. Once I confirmed it was a set date and also asked about cancellation process she stopped replying. I generally don't expect emails to be responded ASAP but I saw on her Instagram that she said "all email and texts responded to", but clearly she didn't reply to me. I feel like she just stopped replying because she knew we wouldn't be able to make my new date work and I'm no longer a bride on her calendar. feel like she should have been more professional and let me know I was losing my make up artist and all the money I already paid. I'm not complaining about not getting my money back its definitely in the terms of the contract, I'm mostly bummed that she didn't just tell me outright and that I still haven't heard from her (it's been months) PS I'm only posting about this here because she got my Negative review removed from the Knot. read more

Amy made me feel absolutely beautiful and confident on my wedding day! I was a covid bride and had to reschedule twice, but Amy was super accommodating and even made it work for me to have my trial just 2 days before the big day. I used pictures of her past work for inspiration and the results were all I could have hoped for! The day of she got four of us ready, including my mom who asked for lashes at the last second and Amy was kind enough to work with us and make it happen. I would not hesitate to book Amy again in the future! read more

I found Amy on Instagram and instantly fell in love with her work. She did my hair and make up for an engagement photoshoot. I normally don't wear a lot of make up and from all the photos I've seen I loved the way Amy kept her clients looking flawless with a pop of glam. She was very responsive and accommodating when it came to booking an appointment. She was punctual, professional, and very sweet the day of. I told her the kind of look I was going for for the photoshoot and she delivered. She has a way of keeping her clients looking natural and enhancing certain features. I loved the way she made my eyes pop, but at the same time the make up NEVER felt heavy or cakey. I also had clip-in hair extensions (which Lord knows I have no clue how to put in properly), but Amy was so accommodating and placed them in and styled my hair. I think it's important to trust someone doing your hair and make up for a big day that involves having spent a lot of money on professional photography. With Amy, I wholeheartedly trust her to make me look good! I highly recommend her! I can't wait to have her glam me and my bridesmaids up for my big day! read more

If you're looking for an experienced, friendly professional to do your hair and makeup, I highly recommend Amy S! As someone who doesn't usually wear that much makeup I was nervous about the look and feel of everything for my wedding day. During the trial Amy made me feel comfortable and walked me through my options and made really helpful recommendations. She was also super communicative throughout the whole process and I never had to wait long at all for her to answer a question I had. She was very punctual and prepared, and on the big day she even finished my hair and makeup early which allowed me to do some extra photos with my bridesmaids. All in all, my experience working with her could not have been better and I'd recommend her to anyone. read more

Amy was my wedding hair and makeup artist for my wedding weekend last weekend (yes for not one but two days!) and I couldn't have been more happy about the results. I am currently waiting for photos from our photographers but based on the teasers they've sent me, my makeup looks awesome! I had many compliments from my family and friends of how great and natural my makeup looked as well as how my hair was done. I was lucky to come across Amy through Yelp. In fact I was already in the process of booking another artist but while browsing yelp for food, I read another review that someone had posted about Amy and decided to inquire with her and ended up booking. Her rates are very reasonable and straight forward. She is very professional, prompt with email questions and gives wonderful feedback! I had my hair and makeup trial at different times and she really didn't mind making multiple visits. I ended up having hair extensions and Amy was able to answer questions on what type I should look for as well as providing me links of where I can purchase. Each appointment I had scheduled with her, she was punctual and even early at times. I generally don't wear a lot of makeup and when she did apply makeup I didn't every feel that it was too much or too cakey as she always went with what I was comfortable with, liked or did not like. She has a very easy going personality and almost feels like a friend that is coming over to do your hair and makeup. Thank you so much for making me look amazing on my wedding weekend! Would highly recommended to anyone in search of makeup or hair services! read more

Amy was beyond amazing! I was a little nervous because I've never had my makeup done professionally but after our trial run, I knew she was the makeup artist for my big day. I'm a big fan of beautiful bold but natural looking eyebrows and she knew exactly how to give me the look I was going for. I wanted a more retro style vibe with bright red lips and she nailed it! She handled my hair and makeup, as well as my 3 bridesmaids and MIL's makeup. She had a lovely assistant with her who do the other ladies hair. I would highly recommend Amy to anyone in need of a makeup artist, she's a sweetheart who really puts you at ease & bonus is she's always on time! I hope to hire her again if I have any important events in the future. read more

Amy did the hair and makeup for me and my maid of honor for my wedding in September 2019. Overall, Amy was great to work with, she's friendly, easy to talk to, and her prices were very reasonable. The makeup that she did lasted all day and looked great in all of our photos. The reason for minus one star was with the hair. I had Amy do a low curled bun and it lasted throughout most of the day, but not the entire day. It stayed in place for all of the important photos but started to fall out a bit once the dancing started. By the end of the night, it had noticeably come undone in one section. It wasn't a big deal since we were just dancing by that point, but it would have been good if the whole updo had been a little tighter. Overall, I'd recommend Amy for your wedding hair and makeup! read more

I came across Amy's website and instagram when I was looking for a wedding hair/makeup artist for myself and my bridesmaids. When I reached out she responded so quickly and put together a very affordable quote! The logistics of working with her were super easy, but her talent far outshone that! I don't usually wear makeup and was very wary of looking unnatural or overdone but I knew I was in great hands with Amy. She talked me through exactly what she was doing and in the end I was so incredibly happy with how I looked. My bridesmaids also loved her and absolutely pestered her with questions about makeup the whole time we were getting ready. She is so sweet and friendly on top of her talent with makeup & hair which makes her even more awesome! I'd also like to give her props for the makeup she used surviving a lot of happy crying (a lot!!). Amy made me, my bridesmaids, and my mother-in-law feel like the most empoweringly beautiful versions of ourselves on my wedding day. I highly recommend booking her!! read more

I had the absolute pleasure of having Amy beautify me and my bridesmaids for my wedding. Hair and makeup. From the beginning Amy was professional, accommodating, responsive to all my many messages, and was able to tailor my mish-mosh of ideas of what I wanted to look like into perfection for me, as well as for my bridesmaids. We went with a bohemian beachy romantic vibe, and she delivered! I felt so beautiful! For the day of the wedding despite a heavy mist my naturally curly hair was styled so expertly by her that it stood up to the moisture and stayed smooth and in place. Even after some serious moves on the dance floor (sweat much?) my makeup didn't budge! My bridesmaids all looked so beautiful as well. We were especially impressed with the how well the makeup made our pictures pop but at the same time didn't look like you much makeup in person... Amy has her skill down so well. I highly recommend her not only for her skill in beautification but also how professional and approachable she is. So impressed with her! read more

I was beyond happy with how everything turned out and my hair and makeup lasted all day long, through hours of dancing and many tears! Amy is so easy-going and doesn't let anything phase her which makes things so much easier on a bride's big day. She was super responsive to any communication, even accommodating last minute requests - including a bridesmaid asking to get her makeup done the day of. She listened to what everyone wanted for their hair and makeup and was able to accomplish the looks with no problems.
