Wow, it smells like fresh, sweet baked goods from a mile away and i followed my nose to the right place! They offer a selection of cookies, cakes, ice cream sandwiches, coffees, lattes, etc. they offer cake baking classes, and baking cakes for your party or big day. We had the raspberry cake slice and it was Devine! The chai tea latte was also scrumptious. The interior decor is so eclectic and charming that it makes you feel so happy. Love the family own and operated vibes, and the girl who helped us taste test before making our selection of cake was just as sweet as our cake! Love this place and i cannot wait to come back for another sweet treat

Quite the operation, including a baking school and large on-site facility, it is from a car-park that guests smell Yeast, Coffee and Cinnamon meters before entering, the Baristas up front working hard while guests queue along glass cases to order. Known for Sourdough, though early arrivals are likely to be swayed by something sweet, a quick look shows Viennoiserie nicely laminated with good butter while an Apple Turnover served warm is bright with Cinnamon but not too sweet. Fairly priced by British standards, all Pastries £3.20 to £4.60, Dusty Knuckle's lone Cookie pairs Chocolate Chips and Sea Salt at the soft center of a golden rim while a buttery Cardamom Date Roll shines beneath toasted nuts.

An impromptu lunch stop, this place was recommended by our hosts nearby, and a very good…read morerecommendation it is too. From the front, it looks like a cramped small space in a railway arch, but once through the door it opens up, Tardis-like, into a huge area that extends out to one side and through the back to a small garden area. The lunch menu isn't extensive, being limited basically to soup, a main course, or toasties as far as I could see. Breakfast and brunch options are a lot better, but only up until 12. But as it's mainly an artisanal bakehouse, you can't complain. Lunch on this particular day was a veggie dahl number, served with a couple of generous chunks of their fantastic bread, and it was all absolutely yummy. I understand from other reviews that the bread is mostly baked by refugee Syrian women, and it is just amazing. If I lived here, I'd definitely be buying my daily bread from them.

It is strictly takeaway as there is really no place to sit and eat. The small shop is very straightforward with just a deli-like counter from which to see the goods and order. We were there on a very busy Saturday morning. We queued up in a line of people that extended out the door. They were pretty good about keeping the line moving, however, and we placed our order within 6 or 7 minutes of joining the queue. My wife had a Peanut Butter-Filled Plain Bagel, which she liked quite a lot. I had Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese on an Everything Bagel. It was very good. The service was very efficient and reasonably pleasant and the prices were quite fair. We will go back if we ever have the chance to do so in the future.

They are best known for their salt beef bagels. At the front, in their store window, premade salt beef bagels are ready to be fixed with either or both mustard and pickles. Various pastries/desserts are displayed in their counter ready to go. Note: no table seating inside, just counter tops. Ordered : Salt beef bagel- bagel warm, generous amounts of salt beef, mustard, and sliced pickles. The bagel was over slathered with a horseradish mustard, so much, that it overpowered the taste of the beef. Smoked salmon bagel without cream cheese- underwhelming. Bagel was cold and hard. I did not eat the top half of the bagel. Minimal amount of smoked salmon. The girl behind the counter looked like she could care less to be there and wasn't super friendly or helpful. But the cinnamon buns at Fabrique are utterly delectable, whether you're more attuned to American or Swedish cinnamon buns. With a subtle sweetness to them and a light cinnamon coating (and, as some of the Yelp reviews here suggest, a dash of cardamom), the cinnamon bun was even better than the ones I've had in Sweden. I found the cinnamon buns very reasonably priced at £2.50 each. (That means you can treat yourself to a well-deserved cup of coffee or take some more to take home!) Though the hipster Shoreditch reclaimed garage interior might have suggested otherwise, the employees were extremely friendly and not aloof at all. (And that being said, the design aesthetic is admittedly pretty cool and very appropriate for a bakery on an unsuspecting street down from Hoxton Station.) Be sure to stop by on a Sunday after perusing the flowers at Columbia Road Flower Market!
