I could drone on about this place, but basically, the bread here is great!! I usually don't eat much bread, but the multigrain loaf was incredible. You know, the kind you want to eat WITHOUT butter or jam or anything. It's just simply divine. The place was kind of small inside, difficult to get a place to sit and eat. There was a father an son who had ordered a cheese and onion pizza that I almost snatched off of the child's plate, but it was difficult for them to eat amongst all of the people in the queue. Best for grabbing and going if you find yourself here on a weekend. Kinda hard to find, but worth the search.

New neighbourhood, new baker, and what a baker. I've heard about E5 even before moving here, and oh my, after having tried their croissants, pains au chocolat and Wholemeal bread, they deserve their reputation. No doubt. Staff is super friendly & sitting here sipping a capuccino watching those guys work at the back could really become a habit. Looking forward to taste their 7£ pizzas, baked every sunday...oh, and they organise classes!

I went down to this fab place a week ago to attend a bread baking course which was a gift from Christmas! They hold them every week but you have to book ahead in advance because it's so very popular! The breads you make on the day is usually a Rye, Sourdough (hackney wild), ciabattas and bagels! Somehow we make them all ourselves as a group and they taste incredible!! So happy with the course but the lunch was great, as was the coffee so it was obvious that this is a full functioning superb cafe that I will visit time and time again!!

Always try to stop in when I'm in the area. Situated right by London Fields station, this joint makes excellent coffee and has a tasty selection of counter food as well as easy hot food like soups and toasties (yummm). I do believe they bake everything on site (they also run bread making lessons). There are few seats both inside and out, they're always super busy though so good luck! I highly recommend the lemon polenta rosemary cake. Mmm... Nom nom.

To further my obsession, I came back on a Sunday to try their pizza. It was honestly one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I ordered their plainest one. It had tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and arugula. The sauce was salty sweet, the crust was perfection. I was not that hungry when I showed up, but it was so delicious, I ate the entire pizza. In love!!

Lovely little cafe in a great location under the railway bridge outside London fields. Ordered a pot of tea for £2 and was very good quality. Would definitely recommend people to come here, the bread and pastries look amazing! Only downside I could see was they didn't have a customer toilet - I could be wrong on that though

Very good food but impossible to eat there. The song is definitely too loud! The team enjoy more the music than use :/

It is strictly takeaway as there is really no place to sit and eat. The small shop is very straightforward with just a deli-like counter from which to see the goods and order. We were there on a very busy Saturday morning. We queued up in a line of people that extended out the door. They were pretty good about keeping the line moving, however, and we placed our order within 6 or 7 minutes of joining the queue. My wife had a Peanut Butter-Filled Plain Bagel, which she liked quite a lot. I had Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese on an Everything Bagel. It was very good. The service was very efficient and reasonably pleasant and the prices were quite fair. We will go back if we ever have the chance to do so in the future.

Ordered : Salt beef bagel- bagel warm, generous amounts of salt beef, mustard, and sliced pickles. The bagel was over slathered with a horseradish mustard, so much, that it overpowered the taste of the beef. Smoked salmon bagel without cream cheese- underwhelming. Bagel was cold and hard. I did not eat the top half of the bagel. Minimal amount of smoked salmon. The girl behind the counter looked like she could care less to be there and wasn't super friendly or helpful. But the cinnamon buns at Fabrique are utterly delectable, whether you're more attuned to American or Swedish cinnamon buns. With a subtle sweetness to them and a light cinnamon coating (and, as some of the Yelp reviews here suggest, a dash of cardamom), the cinnamon bun was even better than the ones I've had in Sweden. I found the cinnamon buns very reasonably priced at £2.50 each. (That means you can treat yourself to a well-deserved cup of coffee or take some more to take home!) Though the hipster Shoreditch reclaimed garage interior might have suggested otherwise, the employees were extremely friendly and not aloof at all. (And that being said, the design aesthetic is admittedly pretty cool and very appropriate for a bakery on an unsuspecting street down from Hoxton Station.) Be sure to stop by on a Sunday after perusing the flowers at Columbia Road Flower Market!
