I was being treated with another chiropractor for over 25 years. Unfortunately he was not able to help with my current situation. Came to Dr. Ron Mitchell and within a few visits I can see a difference and feel hopeful towards my road to recovery. Thank God for putting Dr. Ron in my path. Hi Yelpers! If you're looking for the best chircopratcor in the Bay, you just found it! Ding Ding Ding, winner winner! Doc (Dr. Ron) is the absolute best. I've gone to a few places in the past, and they do not compare. Doc is kind, comes with lots of knowlege and will keep you laughing. I came here to due to MAJOR tension in my upper and lower back. We had had a consultation the first time around and I felt extremely well taken care of. He asked great questions to help me create a plan that worked for me and my budget. Did you know, that if you are paying out of pocket, they have a package for $499 you get (12) prepaid sessions. That's pretty much $42 per session. HOLLLLLLLYY MOOOLLLY.. THAT IS SUCH A HUGE COST SAVINGS! (DISCLAIMER: costs may or may not change in the future, but this was my experience when I came in, so be sure to ask if the package still available) HOW YOU GON BEAT $42 FOR 12 SESSIONS WITH AN AMAZING DOCTOR?!?! SERIOUSLY!!!! YA'LL BETTER JUMP ON THIS. read more

I am basing this review on my boyfriends experience as his back seems to not be aligned at times therefore discomfort happens pretty frequently. This is the place to go! Dr. Ron is very knowledgeable and confident in what he does and says. I know this is obviously his occupation so you would think he should be those standards, but sometimes, there are professionals that are pretty questionable at what they do. Dr. Ron and his staff give a very welcoming and kind vibe. My boyfriend has been impressed with his work at it has definitely improved the feeling of discomfort on his back. They have a plan where you have 10 visits per year which is pretty nice. Not to bash a prior company my boyfriend went to prior, but there is a Daly City Chiropractor location near iHOP that my he went to and for awhile the treatments began to be pretty ineffective. However, here, he is very much satisfied throughout every visit so far. read more

Dr. Ron is an amazing chiropractor! He is extremely knowledgeable, staff is fiend. Dr. Ron, What can I say; you truly are the most interesting man in the world. You always give me laugh! Most importantly though you take care of my back when no one else can or should... I do website development for small business & independant professionals and occasionally my customers offer to give me their services for free and I accept. Except once it was a chiropractor and he wasn't as experienced as Dr. Ron, to say the least the other Chiro FUCKED ME UP. If you want someone with experience and knows what their doing schedule an appointment with him. read more

Just started back treatments. After two sessions, I can feel my back positioning itself. I feel like I'm walking taller. I actually walked about an hour holding my baby in my arms. I have not been able to do that before, not for that long. Staff is great. Very accommodating. DC is very welcoming. He makes sure you're comfortable and is dedicated to helping you recover from whatever back issues you have. They also have a massage service. read more

I am yelping for my chiropractor! Let me first tell you how I found this guy and why I still go back to see him after five years and a move to the city. One night after work i noticed a twinge in my side. A little while later, I decided it was probably a muscle needing a rub. A little while later, I couldn't carry my own milk to the car. I was new to the area and remembered seeing his office open late. I took a chance and drove there. He was locking the door, but saw me and asked if I needed help. It was about 7pm! He did not bat an eye at the clock he just helped me. I did new patient paperwork, had the assessment, got an adjustment and was able to function for work the next day! I went for a few follow up adjustments but it didn't drag on and I did truly recover. Now, every once and a while my back gets a bit tight and I go in for an adjustment. I am always greeted with a warm hello and a genuine interest in how I am doing. Doc's care and skill are to be trusted and praised. He loves what he is doing and the patients he treats. His fees are sooo reasonable compared to what you will pay elsewhere. Also worth noting, scheduling is easy and when I have needed to reschedule it was always done happily for me. This is a down to earth place, where everyone is welcome. I highly reccoment Doc Mitchell! read more

I don't believe that a 3-5 minute adjustment three times a week can build momentum. Additionally, my lower back feels much worse after adjusting. My chronicle upper back issue doesn't get fixed. I heard other patients yelling during the intense 3-5 min session. The practitioner keeps forcing you to go back without really listening to your problem at all. read more

First, I've had bad luck with chiro care in SF over the past 9 years (after great care back in St. Louis where I grew up). Needless to say I've been hesitant to pursue a new doc until I just couldn't stand the pain in my neck anymore. My first impression is that Dr. Mitchell and the Makati crew are faboo! Only two hours after my first appointment I'm feeling great... 90% improvement from this morning in mobility and comfort. On top of that, since I called on a whim (need, local, great reviews, etc.), I didn't realize they were closed (by appointment only on Thur.). No problem, Dr. Mitchell came in just for me... 20 minutes notice! Can we give Bonus Stars here? I am going back for follow up care and have high hopes that I've broken a string of bad experiences. Need I say more? read more

Dr Mitchell is a genuine peoples person. His staff is very pleasant and hospitable . The treatment is just what he says it would be.I had severe pain in back, could not stand and I had to travel overseers within couple weeks. Dr Mitchell assured me it will be fixed before I leave and that is exactly what happened. I enjoyed my trip and still feeling good after two years. One more thing I want to add, two weeks ago my granddaughter hurt her arm rushed her to Mikati Chir., Dr Mitchell who had a meeting at that time, left right away and attended to her needs. My family and I are so grateful to have such people like Dr Mitchell hoping other pros will follow his steps. I highly recommend this office. read more

What more can I say about the staff at makati ! First of all they check es my benefits if it covered chiropractic, only paid my co pay , the reason for my visit. I'm a contractor and pulled something in my shoulder while pulling wire , drive to Pacifica and dr. Mitchell gets to work , I don't what he did , but I feel ten times better and I'm going to work today after being in so much pain I thought I'd be off today ! Not to mention friendly staff , and lets be honest who better to work on your body than dr Mitchell who works with a lot of Bay Area athletes including hall of famers, thank you for a job well done. read more

Doc is the man! Believe it or not, Doc Mitchell has been nominated 12x for Man of the Year Award in 2 different countries! Can't say that's really true but it might be- did you know he also has an office in the Philippines?! Now that's global! Not just welcoming when you visit, but you get the sense he's as happy to see you as you are to see him. He's treated world class athletes with both the San Francisco Giants and 49ers, yet he's down to earth and treats you like family when you're in his care. My belief is that he really cares about wellness. Proudly hung on the wall to your right when entering the office are various degrees and certificates Doc has obtained- all that knowledge for the sake of his patients treatment. Did you know he is also a certified EMT?!?! With a convenient location off the freeway, a helpful staff (hi arnie!) and world class service, you have got to drop in and see Doc Mitchell! Your body will thank you :) read more

I used be skeptical of chiropractic in general. I have have had back problems since I was in my 20s. And I resisted going to a chiropractor. Since I have been receiving care with Doctor Mitchell, not only I have no more pain l don't even have a mild ache. My body is so much flexible than before. I can do not need to take any more anti-inflammatory pills. I now know that for the spine there is no substitute for chiropractic care and Doctor Mitchell is the BEST chiropractor to help you be healthy and and maintain your health. My husband and myself had treatment after we were involved in a rear end collision. My family knew Dr. Mitchell a long time so we knew we were in good hands. Times changed now they base their treatment on how badly damaged your vehicle otherwise they drop you because they think they will not get paid. This was the lawyer they referred and Dr. Mitchell. Our account was sent to collection without any attempt whatsoever of informing us that the other party's ins did not pay for the claim. Melina claimed I was avoiding their calls but why when I know I don't owe them anything. The office knew why we came and what the case was all about. Melina was extremely rude, her response to my inquiry was "this is between you and the collection agency". Well then fine!!Now I have to file a complaint since I was not even provided options on how to resolve the issue. read more

After getting into a car accident a few years back, a cousin of mine recommended this place to me. I'm glad he did. The staff of Makati Chiropractic was very friendly and each visit was like visiting old friends. Doc Mitch and his associates are very good at what they do, and if you don't believe me, you can ask some of the San Francisco Giants what they think. That's right, Doc Mitch did some work with the Giants. read more

I came in for a walk in apt. because my back was in so much pain. I couldn't sleep, and it would hurt so bad when I would sneeze. I spoke with the doctor and he asked me some questions and was very informative as to why my back was feeling the way it was. I had told him I had problems with my hips and he had discovered my left leg was 2inches longer than the right, after a quick adjustment he aligned my hips and my legs were the same length!! He then made a slight adjustment to my back and then next day I was brand new again!! Thanks to the staff here I will be coming back more frequently. read more

I had an appointment with Dr. Mitchell for my back pain at 9:30AM, I told the doctor that I had to leave at 10AM when I made the appointment. When I arrived at 9:30, he was not there. The front desk girl called him and told me that he was coming. I asked her when he would arrive, she said rudely,"I can not tell you." I said,"But I have to leave at 10AM." she said, " OK, the treatment is only 15 to 20 minutes". At 9:45AM, I was about to leave, and the doctor finally showed up. I asked how long it would take, he said about 5 minutes. lol, should I be happy that I can leave before 10AM or should I be upset that I drove for 10 minutes, waited for 15 minutes, paid several dozen dollars and just for a 5 minutes treatment? Yeah, after he done, it only takes 3 minutes. He left as soon as he was done without telling me anything about how to do recover exercise or how to correct gesture to relief pain, nothing! Do they really think their patients believe that 3 minutes treatment will help them? They just made me think that they did not care patients' health but their money. Perfunctory doctor, rude front desk girl, unprofessional service! I really doubt that how they could have ever got the 5 star reviews. read more
